The old lady gave her a small, almost sympathetic smile. “There’s no need to rush to have kids. When you are ready, you can call me anytime if you need help. Let me know if Yi is giving you a hard time, or if he’s not doing his husband duties well,” she said with a wink.

“I a.s.sure you, Grammie. There’s no need to interfere. Xinyi knows I can perform my husband duties well.” Shen Yi’s voice surprised the two women. He was leaning on the doorway with his hands jammed in his front pockets.
