"I am the great and powerful, Oz…."

Mika had just finish giving Commander Wynfina a fake name when Ailwin and Braeden rushed into the office.

"Mik-" She quickly held to her hand to signal for them to be quiet.

Ailwin and Braeden looked at one another before walking over to see what she was doing.

On the monitor, Commander Wynfina and his soldiers were panicking and cursing at the ceiling. 

Mika put the mic on mute before spinning around to face the two males behind her.

"h.e.l.lo, how can I help you?" She asked, looking at Ailwin first then Braeden.

"Mikaela, why am I seeing Commander Wynfina and his men on the monitor's screen? And why did you said your name is Oz? Who is Oz?" Ailwin questioned.

"Oz is just something I'm using instead of my real name, and the reason you are seeing Commander Wynfina on the monitor is because I broke into the wars.h.i.+ps' mainframes…"

By the time Mika finish explaining herself, Ailwin was looking at her like she grew two heads.

I know she told me she could cyb...but breaking into the wars.h.i.+ps mainframes during battle…

Braeden pointed at the screen. Commander Wynfina was shouting and pointing at the ceiling with an extremely red face.

"Hold on one-second…" Mika flipped the sound back on to hear Pharom say to the room.

"Fine!… What do you want from me?!"

Mika thought for a minute before telling him to wait as she once again put him on hold.

"Mika, do you have the wars.h.i.+ps fully under your control right now?" Ailwin was afraid to hear the answer.

"En." 

He felt himself breath out all his desperation for the past few hours. Even though they were able to avoid the first attack, the wars.h.i.+ps were still out there. He was afraid of that they wouldn't be able to avoid the next round of attacks.

However, with Mika in control...

"Can you move them away from my estate…?" He was still worried about the his people, who stay behind, would be helpless against the wars.h.i.+ps attacks from above.

"En." Mika typed put a few commands to the s.h.i.+ps' mainframes, and the two formidable aircrafts moved to new coordinates.

Finally being able to relieve himself of the stress, Ailwin pulled Mika from her seat and hugged her tightly in his arms.

"Thank you…." He knew that if she wasn't here with him right now, he and all men would not have made it out of this battle alive.

"...I owe you a lot...thank you." 

Mika liked the feel of Ailwin's arms around her, but she what she liked even more was that he trusted her enough to put his life and the lives of his people's lives in her hands.

Enjoying the moment Mikaela blushed as she wrapped her arms around him too.

*Cough* *Cough*

"Ailwin, we should land first and see if there are any survivors on the carrier that crashed...also, there is still Commander Wynfina to deal with." Braeden interrupted the sweet moment with a smack of reality.

Mika sent a glare his way for ruining their sweet moment.

Ugh! He is like a fruit fly…annoying little piece of....!

"Right… We should get back," Ailwin pulled away from Mika as his patted her head and walk towards the door.

Out in the hallway, Braeden patted Ailwin on the shoulder. 

"I must admit, that girl of yours is quite useful in times of need."

"Watch it, she will be your sister-in-law…"

"Argh! Don't remind me!" 

"Can't you two stop whatever the h.e.l.l it is you two are doing...  You know she saved your life three times already."

"Yea, but how many time has her sharp tongue been sent my way. Besides, because of her, I'm not even sure I can have kids anymore…" Braeden felt a little twinge of pain down under.

Due to Mika's uncall for attacks, Braeden had talk to their head healer about this issue. After an awkward conversation and an uncomfortable exam, he was now on a herb regiment to recovery.

"I thought you said you don't want fledglings?"

"It's the option, Ailwin! The option that counts!…" Braeden stomped off leaving a laughing Ailwin behind.

Mika watched as Ailwin and Braeden left the room, leaving her by herself again.

Turning back to the monitor, Mika flipped the switch to turn the sound back on.

"Commander Wynfina…"

"What is it? Have you decided…?" Pharom's impatience was showing. He was supposed to kill Prince Ailwin and his army, leaving no survivors.

However, nothing was going as his liked, and now he is at the mercy of this Oz person. 

"Mmm...you know, you should be kinder to me." Mika said not liking his att.i.tude.

"Tch!… Just say what it is you want!"

*Sigh* "Fine... Sleep tight."

Mika didn't bother to talking to Commander Wynfina any longer. She lowered the oxygen levels to the point where everyone on board couldn't keep their consciousness and finally pa.s.sed out.

"Mika, we will be landing in a few moments…" Ailwin's voice came over the comms.

"Okay."

Checking over all the surveillance cameras, she made sure everyone was asleep before navigating the two wars.h.i.+ps to land away from Ailwin's home.

The soldiers aboard the air carriers watched as the wars.h.i.+ps landed just outside of the Shadow Wolves' encampment.

"Sir, should I tell the men on the ground to prepare…" The captain who wanted to stop Ailwin from trusting Mika's suggestion asked, seeking to get back into Aliwin's good graces.

"En. Have them prepare to board the vessels."

"Yes, sir." 

Feeling the success of victory, all the soldiers had a pep in their steps as the went about getting ready the land.

With the carriers on the ground, it wasn't long before Ailwin had the injured men rescued from the fallen carrier and the wars.h.i.+ps surrounded.

"Ailwin, what do you plan to do with all the royal guards aboard?" Braeden ask as they got closer to the wars.h.i.+ps.

"I don't know yet…" Looking at the large aircrafts in front of him, Ailwin felt the lingering fears of what could have been, sprout inside him.

"Sir, how do we open the hatch?" One of his captain ask.

Forgetting that Mikaela is the one who has full control of the wars.h.i.+ps, Ailwin and Braeden both looked at each other as they forgot to ask her to open the wars.h.i.+ps for them.
