"Where is she?" Braeden whispered to Ailwin asking about Mika's location.

Ailwin glanced back at the carrier they have withdraw from for hours now.

Sh*t!

Turning back around, he didn't bother answering his captain's question as he walked back to where he left Mikaela.

Inside her cabin, Mika had changed out of her clothes into new ones and jumped into bed to sleep.

It was two hours into her nap when she heard knocking at her door.

Feeling grumpy and lazy, Mika decided to ignore the intrusion.

"Mika…?" Ailwin's voice from the other side of the door, had her ears twitching.

"Ugh…" Rolling out of bed, Mika dragged her feet on the floor towards the door. Cracking it open a bit, she open one eyelid to look at Ailwin.

"Whaddaya want?" When the battle was over and all the tension left her body, Mika just wanted to curl up underneath some covers and go to sleep.

"Mika...why are you still on the carrier? Practically, everyone has left already…" Ailwin looked into the room to see the crumpled bed sheets.

Was she sleeping?

"Sleeping."

"You can sleep off the s.h.i.+p." Ailwin shook his head and walked into the room.

"Didn't know where to go." She climbed back into the comfortable bed and pulled up the covers over her head.

"Mika, let's go. You can't stay here." Ailwin began gathering her luggage and things from around the room.

"…"

"Mika, are you listening?" Silence was all Ailwin continued to get.

"Mika!"

Ailwin went to the side of the bed shaking the pet.i.te body on the bed.

"Don't wanna."

"Come on Mika, everyone is waiting outside."

"So?"

"So...you need to get up. *cough* Also we can't get into the Wars.h.i.+ps without you."

"Oooh, so that's the real reason you come to disturb my sleep…"

"No...no, I also want to show you the place that will be your home in a few years."

"….!"

Mika thought about it, she really does want to see Ailwin's home and make changes to it.

"Okay." Ailwin grin triumphantly as she got out of bed.

Getting her trunk and changing clothes again, Mika was finally ready to leave the carrier.

Hycis and Celaena had already been shown to their quarters in Ailwin's palace by Kaze. While Nylian chose to stay and help Braeden and Ailwin with rescuing the soldiers.

When Mika left the carrier, she was able to get a better look at the landscape.

"Wow...it's beautiful…" Mika commented.

Ailwin looked up to see where she was looking at as he lugged her trunk down the ramp.

"It will be even more stunning when all the fallen debris from the crash carrier is gone, plus with the two wars.h.i.+ps, the smoke and fire, and my injured soldiers…" Ailwin stated. He had pride in his home, but right now it was covered with telling signs of a battle.

Can she even see the landscape with all this around?

"Oh! I didn't even see that stuff….Mmm, now that you mention it…" 

Yes, Mika had actually block out all that was happening around her from her eyes as she was eager to see Ailwin's estate.

"It's about it time, what took you so long?" Braeden walked over until he stood in front of Mika and Ailwin.

"She was sleeping."

"Sleeping?" Braeden glanced at Mika, "What? It was time for your nap?" He smirked.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, it was. I took down two wars.h.i.+ps, I think I'm initial to a nap." Mika proudly exclaimed.

"Hmph...all you did was cyb into their mainframes, you act like you had hand to hand combat with them." Braeden muttered.

"Hmph...all you did was run back and forth, you act like you shouldn't be kissing my feet right now." Mika muttered back.

"Hmph...I'm a war decorated General, who are you to tell me to kiss your feet."

"Hmph...I'm your three timed savior and future Princess of this estate, who are you to tell me I can't."

When the surrounding soldiers noticed their General and their Commander standing with a young girl. Bored of standing around waiting, they walked over to see what the commotion was about.

"You stinky little brat…"

"I took two showers already today, you cannot call me stinky…!"

"Brat, I call you stinky because you're still wet behind the ears!"

"I told you that's because I already took two showers today!"

"No, it's because your a brat. Brat!"

"Take one to know one!"

Ailwin stood beside the two as they argued back and forth while holding his forehead. It wasn't long before he heard the whispers of the soldiers that started to crowd around them.

"Is that our General?"

"Why is he arguing with a little girl?"

"...and so childishly too."

"Who is she to the General to speak to him this way?"

"I don't know...but I'm seeing General Gilwenys in a whole new light."

Ailwin couldn't take it anymore.

"Stop it, both of you." 

"He started it."

"Did not-"

"General Gilwenys!" Ailwin jerk his towards the waiting crowd of soldiers. By the time, Braeden realized they weren't alone, over half the troop had gather around them.

d.a.m.nit, the brat made me lose face again!

A captain walked up to Braeden, "General Gilwenys, who is this young lady beside you and our Commander? Is she someone important?"

"No, not at all."

Mika heard the quick exchange between the two men. 

Inserting herself in their conversation, Mika raise her palm for a handshake.

"He's right I'm not just important, I'm a VIP."

"VIP?" The captain looked over at Braeden not understanding.

"A Very Important Person."

"Ah! Very Important Person, got it...and why might you be a VIP?" Captain spoke as if he was speaking to his youngest niece.

"...because I am your Commander's fiancée and the soon to be Boss up in this bitc-"

"Mikaela!" Ailwin shouted covering the next words out of her mouth.

Though Ailwin managed to stop the last word out of her mouth, the captain still heard the rest.

"F-Fiancée? The Prince's?" The man looked Mika up and down.
