"Yes, I didn't stutter." Mika was very offended by the look the captains and the surrounding soldiers were giving her.

"We will discuss this further. For now, I want everyone to get back to their post and I want sentries put in place around those two s.h.i.+ps." Ailwin said pointing at the two wars.h.i.+ps behind them.

"Yes, sir…" Although everyone heard their Commander's orders, they didn't move a step to go do them. They were so curious to see the prince's fiancee they could care less about the wars.h.i.+ps behind them.

Ailwin gave Braeden a look before taking Mika away from the group of men surrounding them.

"Do you guys not take our Commander's orders seriously!? Get to work! Move it!" Braeden roared.

Snapping out of their initial shock, the soldiers jumped to getting back to their positions while giving Prince Ailwin and Mikaela's back questioning looks.

"General, it is true that she is the Prince's fiancee? Is he really planning to marrying her?" The same captain asked.

"Yes,...and may the G.o.ds have mercy on our souls when he does…" Braeden mumbled as he walked off to see to securing the aircrafts.

"When...when did this happen?"

"It doesn't matter, let's get back to work before the sun goes down…" Braeden said, no longer caring to discuss about Mika.

Inside a rover, Ailwin and Mikaela made their way towards his palace at the center of the territory.

The ride was quiet with Ailwin pointing out little details about the estate here and there that he thought she might like. Over all, the place was beautiful. 

Ailwin had made sure to keep the originality of his mother's clan style as much as possible, with little to no change in the structure of the old buildings.

She especially liked the way he made his palace separate from all the other buildings but also at the center of the whole estate.

Having been raised in one of the most secluded parts in the Amara clan home, Mika grew up loving her personal s.p.a.ce.

From the top of his palace, Mika was pretty sure one would be able to see in every direction, giving it the perfect view.

"How do you like it so far?" Ailwin asked as he took the luggage from the rover and guided Mika into his residence.

"Would you like to get back to your nap or would you like to see more?"

"More." She was wide wake now, there was no way for her to just go back to sleep.

"Okay, follow me…" Holding her hand and her trunk in the other, he led her towards the room she will be occupying for time being.

"Here." Opening the heavy wooden door, Mika was greeted to an elegant room. Decorated in a deep purple and soft grey, the room gave off a sophisticated and graceful feel.

"You like it…" All of a sudden Ailwin felt nervous as he watched her moved around the bedroom. Touching and inspecting everything.

"En." She looked his way and smiled.

"Good...let's leave your stuff here as I give you a tour of my place." He held out his hand waiting for Mika to take it.

"En....let's go."

Around the palace they went hand in hand, Ailwin showed her everything and anything in his home. He even introduced her to his servants and guards as they pa.s.sed them by until Mikaela's stomach made a loud protest.

"Oh, it's already dark. Let me take you back to your room to freshen up while I'll get everyone together for dinner." Ailwin said calling one of his servants over to notify the kitchens.

Hearing that dinner was on it's way, Mika's stomach gave out another grumble before quieting down.

"Do you want to get something to eat right now?" Remembering how big her appet.i.te is, Ailwin thought she wouldn't be able to hold off to then.

"No...it's all right. I'll eat with everyone else."

"Okay." Though she said it was fine, Ailwin still advised the kitchens to prepare a feast for them fast.

With dinner set, Ailwin guided Mika back to her room. Halfway to her door, Braeden accompanied with Kaze and Nylian behind him made them pause.

"Ailwin…" Braeden called out when he saw just the person he was looking for.

"Hmm?"

"We had some of the men stationed around the s.h.i.+ps…"

"Good."

They continued to speak about the safety and guarding of the s.h.i.+ps amongst themselves as Ailwin continue leading Mikaela to her room.

Reaching the destination quickly, Ailwin said goodbye to Mika and was going to pull Braeden and the rest towards the office to continue speaking, however, Braeden stop him.

"When are you going to open up the hatch doors?" Braeden directly asked Mika.

 "What hatch doors?" She looked back at him confused.

"The ones to the wars.h.i.+ps." Braeden looked at her like she was stupid.

"Oh, those...I'll open them when I've decided what I want to do with them." She said pointing to herself.

"What YOU want to do with them!?"

"Yes."

"Stop. Let's go inside to talk about this. " Ailwin didn't like bring three men into Mika's room, but it is better than having them start an argument again in front of his servants and guards.

Pus.h.i.+ng everyone inside, he closed the door behind him.

"Ailwin, what the h.e.l.l does she mean by when she has decided what to do with them!?" Braeden didn't bother talking to Mika and turn towards his friend.

"Excuse me, if you want to know something about me, you should be asking me." Mika spoke as she took a seat at the little two seater table in the room.

Braeden stared at Ailwin, who only kept quiet and shrugged his shoulders, before turning to Mika.

"When will you are ready to open the hatch doors?"

"…. when I'm ready…" Mika spoke slowly as if Braeden was simpleminded.

*Sigh*  Controling his anger he asked, "...and how long will that take?"

"...mmm, soon."

"...Soon? Are you joking with me!?"

"No."

"We need to get in there and get those people out and our soldiers in, so they can learn the operating system. You are holding everyone up!"

"Why would your soldiers operate the s.h.i.+ps?"

"Who else would use them but the Shadow Wolves army, their are our s.h.i.+ps now!"

"Your s.h.i.+ps? When were they ever your s.h.i.+ps?"

Ailwin could clearly see when this conversation took a wrong turn.

"W-What? Why wouldn't they be our s.h.i.+ps…?" Braeden glanced over at Ailwin for help, but he turned his head away as if he didn't see Braeden looking at him. 

"You didn't do anything to get them! How can you own something you didn't acquire yourself…!" Mika huffed.

I haven't even gone on the s.h.i.+ps yet, but he is already scheming on taking them for himself. Mothef***cker!
