It's been almost a week since Magna and the twins left the ruins. Argo and Luna followed right behind Magna while playing a game with their tails. Suddenly, Magna came to an abrupt stop and caused the twins to b.u.mp into him.

Magna ignored the m.u.f.fled laughter coming from his back as he noticed something odd. Scrunching his brows, Magna slowly took a rock out from his pocket and tightly clutched it.

Argo and Luna immediately stopped laughing when they saw his actions and quietly prepared for fight. Over the week long travel, the girls have been through a lot of life or death fights with both animals and grimm.

Before either wolfgirl could ask what's wrong, a few tall figures wearing white masks appeared from the bushes.

Magna gave his surroundings a brief glance as he said, "Who are you guys? What do you want?"

Instead of answering, the mask figures all rushed to attack them. Or more specifically, to attack Magna.

Without a word, the rock in Magna's hand instantly transformed into windmill shuriken. The sudden appearance of his weapon managed to stun the mask figures long enough for the girls to launch an attack.

Before anyone of them could recover, Argo slashed at the weapons with her semblance, turning them into sc.r.a.p while Luna use her semblance to encase their feet in snow.

No matter how many times he sees their semblances, he's always going to be impressed by how twin-like their semblances are. Exactly like her sister, Luna's eyes glowed in a dark blue while a dark blue aura coated her hands and feet.

Glaring at the person infront of him, Magna tore off his mask and said, "Now tell me. Who

are you guys and why did you attack us."

The person infront of him glared at Magna and tried to spit on his face. Luckily, Magna managed to dodge yet this didn't help calm down the anger that was growing inside. Ever since the fight against the Nevermore, Magna found out that his emotions seem more volatile than before.

Magna's eyes changed into a dark red as his pupil became a slit. He glared at the person in front of him only to be dumbfounded. The person in front of him had completely changed his tune as he politely bowed his head and said, "I'm sorry brother. I thought you were a human and that's why I attacked you."

"What do you…" Before he could finish, Argo pulled him to the side and whispered, "Magna, these guys are apart of the White Fang. And they think your a faunus because of your eyes."

Releasing a sigh, Magna whispered back, "So what should we do with them?"

Both Argo and Luna shurruged, leaving Magna stumped. With a sigh, Magna asked Luna to free them. After a couple minutes, the one Magna demasked bowed and said, "Again, I'm sorry for attacking you brother."

Giving the man an awkward smile, Magna waved his hands and said, "It's fine…"

Argo seemed wary of the faunus as she asked, "Why are you guys out here?"

Her question brought a serious expression n all the faunus's faces as the leader, who happened to be the one Magna demasked, said, "We're looking for kidnappers. There's a group of humans going around kidnapping faunus children." Pausing, the man gave Magna and the twins a gentle smile and said, "Would you kids like to join the White Fang? It's completely up to you whether you want to join or not. We won't force you."

This took Magna by surprise yet it only took him a couple seconds to realize why the leader is giving him a choice. The current time line he's in is where the White Fang is still an organization that's fighting for equality for all instead of the criminal syndicate.

That means Blake, Yang and Weiss are likely 7 or 8 while Ruby is 5 or 6. Magna suddenly smiled as he bowed and said, "Thank you for the offer but I'd like to decline."

The leader only smile before he ruffled Magna's hair and said, "It's okay kid. It's the adults responsibility to fight for a better future for the next generation anyway."

He wore his mask before running further into the forest with the rest of his team following close behind.

Magna put his hands on his head as his smile seemed… odd. Back in his old life, Magna never had his head patted in fear of hurting him as he was fragile when young due to illness. He had to say… it felt really good and comforting to have his head patted gently like that.

The girls looked at each other and nodded before walking infront of Magna and softly ruffling his hair like what the leader did. Magna burst into laughter as he hugged the girls tightly and whispered, "Thanks."

Argo and Luna saw the huge smile on his face and reply with one of their own as they said in sync, "No problem~"

After a few minutes of playing around, the trio continued on their journey. Along the way they meet all sorts of animals, some friendly and some not so friendly.

Whenever grimm were in the surrounding, a black blur appeared from the treetops and instantly turned the grimm into dust.

Over the past week, Magna has been studying the bird, asking himself why this bird seems to be protecting him and the girls. During the night, the bird would rest close by while easily taking out any grimm that came anywhere near their camp while during the day, it would hide in the trees and take out anything that was too much for Magna and the twins to handle.

After a couple hours of walking, Magna and the girls came across a huge clearing filled with greenery while the settlement they were traveling to was finally in sight. Actually, calling it a settlement wasn't quite right as it looked more like a large, self-sufficient village. Their were at least 50 large houses with each house having its own personal garden while their were huge fields on the outskirts with many muscular men doing farm work.

One of the men caught sight of them as he yelled, "Oi, guys. Who's kids followed them to work?"

"Not mine."

"My kid would rather die than work, you know that."

"I only have a daughter so it can't be mine…"

"I haven't even got kids!?!"

Suddenly, a deep voice filled with anxiety and relief shakily said, "…Magna, is that you?"

Magna felt his body tremble as he turned towards the person who just spoke. Tears gathered in his eyes as his body unconsciously started sprinting towards the huge man as he screamed, "DAD!!!"

The man seemed equal as emotional as he dropped the hoe in his hands and instantly closed the gap between him and Magna, stunning everyone around him. The man gave Magna a heavy bear hug as he cried, not minding the happy stares from around him.

Suddenly, the man noticed the two b.a.l.l.s of fluff that followed behind Magna. He gave his son a wink as he chuckled, "Definitely my son."

Magna knew what he meant but ignored it as he was way too happy with being reunited with his family. The girls, however, lowered their heads with a deep blush while their tails fluttered around behind them.

As his father put him down, he looked at Magna with excitement and said, "Come with me. Your mother has been really anxious since we came here. She won't even let me…" by the end of his sentence, he started mumbling.

Magna actually blushed slightly as he had an inkling of an idea of what his father was talking about while the twins faces exploded into a deep blush as their enhanced hearing allowed them to hear what he was saying, even when he started mumbling.

Shaking his head, Magna gave a small cough as he said, "Sure dad. Just give me a minute." Before anyone could stop him, Magna ran back into the forest. The girls were about to follow him in a panic when Magna's voice echoed from the forest.

"Don't follow me. I need to pee."

The girls blushed slightly as they stood next to Magna's father who silently chuckled at them.

A small ways into the forest, Magna suddenly stopped. He bowed towards one of the treetops as he said in a naturally childish voice, "Mister Bird, thank you for protecting me and my sisters and helping us reach my family."

With a happy smile, Magna turned back and ran even faster than before to where his family was waiting.

After a couple minutes, a man donning a grey coat and black cape jumped down from the treetops. Taking a long drink from a flask that hung from his hip, the man smiled as he muttered, "Polite kid." Before slowly walking to G.o.d knows where.
