Status:
Name: Zhou Congyi
Age: 20,000+
Cultivation: Saint Realm Level 9.
Description: City Lord of the LightShade City.
_______________________
The status page's description only contained one sentence since the target's cultivation level was too high for him to find out more information. Tian Long knew that he needed to upgrade the system's level first for him to get more information on his targets with higher cultivation level than him. That or increase his own cultivation level.
The City Lord waved his hand and summoned a gigantic battle arena out of thin air. It slowly dropped in the middle of the LightShade Arena as it rooted itself on it. The newly summoned arena was totally white in color, it was as if it was made of the purest jade that one can find yet it also emitted an aura that as if you can't even leave a dent or a scratch in it.
The enormous arena suddenly split into one hundred colossal parts as they continuously expanded. They took up s.p.a.ce in the incredibly wide LightShade Arena as they all became their own separate stages.
"First of all, I want to thank everyone for coming to this wondrous event, it's a pleasure to be your host throughout this tournament. Alright, I shan't say much so let's get this started." said the City Lord.
He continued. "The rules are simple, there will be battle royals at every stage and the only person that remains standing at each arena will be the ones that can advance to the next phase of the tournament. Also, only those below the King realm and are under the age of twenty years old are able to partic.i.p.ate in this compet.i.tion. I will explain the rules of further stages after this phase ends."
Although this had always been the tradition for the tournaments of the LightShade City, many people were still shocked since this was the first time that they found out about this.
"Out of these number of people, only 100 of them are going to ascend to the next stage?!" gasped a young man in the crowd.
"What a straightforward yet savage way of holding a tournament." said another young cultivator.
"Indeed, although this rule is simple and straightforward, it's ruthless and quick on eliminating the great number of partic.i.p.ants."
Hidden in the void, Tian Long was able to 'see' all the things that were happening as he looked at the 'mirror-like' projection in front of him. As Tian Long spent time cultivating, he was able to do more of all kinds of things with his pure heavenly energy.
Jian Chen, Lin Hui Yin, Chu Feng, Long w.a.n.g, Long Xue, and Zhuang Yang was also looking at the projection in front of them as their eyes gleamed with sharpness as they all started thinking.
Back in the arena, the city lord waved his hand, officially starting the tournament.
Cultivators from all kinds of places started ascending the stages. The 100 stages were immediately filled in a short amount of time.
There were young talented geniuses that came from ill.u.s.trious backgrounds to the independent and variant cultivators that relied on themselves to continue unto the path of martial arts.
Representatives from various powerful sects, clans, organizations, ancient countries, empires, and etc all took their spots at the hundred gigantic stages.

At this moment Tian Long's five disciples also entered their respective stages, of course, they were all separated.
They withdrew their auras since it was pointless releasing 100% of their aura and pressure without even starting.
The City Lord counted down, initializing the start of the tournament.
"3."
"2."
"1."
"Start!"
Immediately, innumerable martial skills and spells were released at different stages at once.
The spectators that were in their seats were captivated by all kinds of techniques and arts that were displayed by both mysteriously unknown and famous partic.i.p.ants.
At Zhuang Yang's stage, it was a total mess. It was basically a royal rumble as the fighters within the arena were sieged and bombarded by martial skills and techniques from every direction as they eventually died.
Zhuang Yang stood in the same spot that he was in from the start as he looked around with no expression on his face. Suddenly, two young elite geniuses that seemed to be in an alliance with each other attacked him. They both used a sword and a movement skill to appear beside Zhuang Yang as they struck out to pierce his throat.
Lifting his two hands, Zhuang Yang's fists flashed with a golden brilliance.
*Swoosh* *Clank*
Immediately, his two hands grasped the two swords that were coming towards him. He gripped hard and the swords started to crack and eventually fall apart. The two young elites were shocked and surprised by what just happened, they couldn't even react before being blown away by Zhuang Yang's fists.
The [Indestructible Vajra Body] was given to him by Tian Long and it was a Saint-grade body cultivation technique. It focuses heavily on tempering one's external and inner body to the extreme, boosting one's physique to a whole new level. The technique had 7 levels and Zhuang Yang had only fully comprehended it's first level a while ago. While the first level also centralized on tempering one's body, the first level focused more on one's fists, tempering and molding it to a destructive level.
He remembered his master's words in his head: "It was said that if one reached the peak of this technique, then his physical body alone could fight and dominate a grown, powerful true dragon."
He was shocked when he heard that the technique could contend against a true dragon since they were basically unrivaled in the Boundless Heaven World.
Zhuang Yang suddenly smiled and roared as he released nearly all of his fearsome aura. Tremendous pressure suddenly engulfed the whole stage that he was in as he started to eliminate the other contestants.
On another arena, at Long w.a.n.g's side was a bit different than Zhuang Yang's. Long w.a.n.g tended to be more on the aggressive side as he discharged all of his pressure and started to eliminate those that blocked his path.
Every swing and strike of his sword manifested a shadow of a red dragon which overwhelmed the other cultivators as their bodies started to tremble under the pressure of the awe-inspiring dragon.
Their souls quivered as their backs were soaked with sweat. The dragon's overpowering aura restricted them of any kind of movement and could only stand there in despair.
Long w.a.n.g remembered Tian Long's words in his head when he received this technique: "The [Dragon Emperor Art] is a Saint-grade technique and if paired with your bloodline, then this technique can even surpa.s.s it's peak and maybe even rival that of an Immortal grade's technique."
From his master, he found out that he had a special kind of bloodline, and it was an incredibly rare one at that. The bloodline of a Divine Dragon was flowing through his and her sister's veins!
A Divine Dragon! A true dragon that ascended to divinity! Just thinking about it left Long w.a.n.g and Long Xue breathless since they didn't know that they had such a n.o.ble bloodline within them.
Long w.a.n.g clenched his teeth in excitement and stared at the enemies in front of him. He smiled and stepped forward, unconsciously he emitted an air that only an imperial emperor should have.
The same was happening in Long Xue's arena as she had a sword in hand and a shadow of a dragon behind her, she walked forward unhindered and undefeated.
Up in the firmament, Tian Long couldn't help but laugh out loud as he watched these three disciples of his. After looking at them for a while, he then s.h.i.+fted his eyes on his two other disciples.
One carried a sword in his back and although it remained sheathed, everyone in the arena could feel the dangerous sword intent coming from the boy. None dared mess with him for the fear of instantly dying without even knowing how and when.
And the other one could simply be described with one word: Calmness.
He had his hands behind his back as his robe and long jet-black hair flowed gracefully along with the wind. He walked steadily without any fear or hesitation in his deep, profound eyes.
