She knew her alcohol tolerance very well. She could get tipsy after just one gla.s.s of drink and pa.s.s out after three.

Halfway through the dinner party, most people started blabbering because they drank too much. They began to clown around a little. The atmosphere became merrier than before.

Su Qianxun sat in a corner, eating her food. She watched a few female crew members surround Rong Yebai and saw the miserable look on his face. She could not help but burst into laughter.

Rong Yebai’s phone started ringing. The phone call was a lifesaver. He immediately took out the phone, answered the call and escaped from the female crew members.

Su Qianxun got up and wanted to head to the washroom. The lights in the hall suddenly went out and the whole floor plunged into darkness.

Her heart sank, and she had a bad feeling in her gut. Suddenly, there was a thunderous boom. In the next moment, screams and cries rang out from all over the hall.

The blast had affected Su Qianxun as well. It toppled her chair and she flew across the air, landing by the door. She felt dizzy. Her head was spinning.

She immediately got up from the floor. When she raised her head, she saw a person standing before her, holding a gun and pointing it to her head.

Under the faint light from the window, Su Qianxun discerned the person before her. It was Lan Yingying, whose reputation was ruined, who had been exiled from the Lan family!

When Rong Yebai rushed back to the hall like a maniac, all he saw was a hall full of debris on the floor. People were wailing and screaming for help in anguish. His heart nearly stopped beating. He immediately dashed towards where he last saw Su Qianxun, but she was not there anymore.

In that exact moment, the hall, which had been bustling with song and dance, had turned into a horrifyingly h.e.l.lish place.

Rong Yebai dashed out of the hall and grabbed an uninjured crew member. He asked anxiously, “Have you seen Su Qianxun?!”

The crew member immediately shook her head and prepared to get out of here. Perhaps there would be a second explosion!

“Yebai, a woman was… holding Qianxun at gunpoint and forcing her out of the hall!” Director Liu walked over and said anxiously. He was not injured, for he had gone to the balcony to admire the night sky when the explosion occurred.

Rong Yebai cursed internally and immediately chased after the women. But when he ran out of the hotel, Su Qianxun was nowhere to be found.

He immediately took out his phone to call Long Sijue.

Long Sijue had already received the news from the driver. He immediately gave Tang Zui and Si Mancheng an order, telling them to locate Su Qianxun right away.

Su Qianxun sat in the backseat of the car. Her hands were tied to her back. Her mouth was taped. The most horrific thing was that Lan Yingying had strapped some bombs onto her waist.

Lan Yingying was very emotional and agitated. Her car was practically flying along the road. Su Qianxun’s body kept shaking in the car. She was genuinely afraid that the bombs tied to her waist would be detonated by colliding into each other.

Eventually Lan Yingying stopped the car outside a mansion by the sea. She got out of the driver seat, walked over to the backseat and pulled Su Qianxun out.

Su Qianxun staggered as she got out of the car. Lan Yingying was clutching her arm with force and dragged her towards the mansion. She could only stumble after her abductor. Once they entered the mansion, Lan Yingying dragged her into the living room and flung her onto the floor.
