"You would rather fall on the ground then in my arms?" He asked. There was pain in his words.

Yuerui didn't say anything. She kept looking at the ground.

"Answer me, Yuerui." He didn't know it was the drink or his jealousy or his anger that he grabbed Yuerui so hard that it started to hurt her.

But Yuerui still didn't say anything.

She is not like those female protagonist who would scream when it hurts. She finds it lame to say that it hurts in this kind of scene. To her it would only show her weakness. She would rather endure the pain then look like a weakling.

The change in Yuerui's eyes made Yefang realize that she was actually hurting. So he immediately loose his grip.

"I am sorry. I lost control." He apologized immediately.

Yuerui gave him a glare in return and said, "That's what you always do."

She left the dance floor in anger and went for thenrestroom. Han Yefang also followed her to the restroom.

Yuerui went straight to the washroom and splashed water over her face to make herself calm down. She looked at her reflection on the mirror. n.o.body could tell if she cried or not because of her wet face. She hold the sink and looked down at herself. She suddenly heard the sound of door opening.

She in the whole world didn't think that Han Yefang would actually ran all the way and follow her into the female washroom.

She looked around and found that there were n.o.body except them which made her relief.

"What are you doing here? Are you insane?" She screamed.

He didn't say anything. He approached her and offered her his handkerchief.

"Wipe you tears." He said.

She didn't take that. Instead said, "Get out."

Han Yefang didn't move an inch. He kept standing there.

Yuerui touched her forehead out of frustration and asked, "What do you want?"

He retreated his hands and replied abruptly, "Can't you see? I want you."

"Huh!" Yuerui couldn't help mock.

"What? You and I are both still single. There's nothing wrong to want you back."

"Have you forgotten, Mr. Han Yefang, you dumped me? Or... Should I say, I was never yours." Yuerui said.

Han Yefang came close to her and held her hand.

"Yue'er... Since when have you become so cold?"

'Yue'er...' it's been a while since Yuerui heard this. Even though Han Yefang called her like this rarely, she liked them very much. But now hearing it only makes her mock herself.

"That's none of your business." She replied to him looking straight into his eyes.

He pushed her against the sink and looked at her with deep emotions. "I know you still love me. And I love you too. So why don't we get back together?"

Yuerui wanted to say something but was interrupted when Xianw.a.n.g called from outside.

"Ms. Mai, are you there? I have been looking for you."

"Yes, I am coming." She shouted back.

Yuerui then looked at Yefang, pushed away his hands and left the place hurriedly.

After changing partners on the dance floor, Xianw.a.n.g kept looking at Yuerui. He could see that there were some high tension going on between them. So after leaving the dance floor when Yuerui didn't return, Xianw.a.n.g got worried and he went to look for her.

"Are you alright?" He asked her out of concern.

"Yes. I am fine. Let's go back inside." Yuerui didn't say anything else and hurried back to the hall room. Xianw.a.n.g followed her behind but subconsciously looked behind and he saw Han Yefang coming out of ladies restroom.

To be honest he was not shocked. He had already realized that he has something to do with Yuerui and he knows no bounds to get close to Yuerui. But as long as Yuerui doesn't want that he has decided to protect her by her side.

At the party, Yuerui didn't say anything. She kept standing next to Xianw.a.n.g and Si ying.

After eating some appetizers she told Xianw.a.n.g that she wasn't feeling good and wanted to leave.

Xianw.a.n.g offered her a ride on his car but she told him that she has called for her car and won't be needing his help and left bidding them good night.

At the garage, Yuerui walked across the line of cars. She was looking for her keys in her bag. Suddenly she got pulled by someone with great force.

She was not shocked to see that it was none other than Han Yefang.

"What the h.e.l.l are you doing? Aren't you afraid that I will scream?" Yuerui said gritting her teeth.

"You would have already done that if you wanted." He said with a smile on his face.

"You are despicable." She said every word with full of disgust.

"I know that I am. But you are also doing same thing."

"What?" Yuerui creased her brows.

"You are hanging out with Kong Xianw.a.n.g to make me jealous, right?"

Yuerui didn't know what to say. She was shocked to hear that.

"If you are... then I must tell you you have succeeded. I am jealous. I am so jealous that I can't stand anymore. It's strangling me to death."

Yuerui wanted to say something but suddenly Yefang surprised her. He kneeled before her keeping his head down.

"I admit... I admit that i have wronged you. And I sincerely apologise to you. I know I can't compensate the pain I have caused you. But I still wanna say sorry to you. I want to compensate for the rest of my life. I want to explain you everything I have done. I want to love you for the rest of my life. I know you still can't trust me. But I swear my feelings are sincere. Please give me another chance." 

'Sorry' did he think that by saying this one word he can put away the pain he had caused her? Does he know how it feel to get someone's trust broken into pieces?

Yuerui reached her hands towards him and made him stand up. Then replied to him coldly," I am not responsible for you feeling. So please don't waste my time."

"Hmmphh..." Yefay couldn't help smile.

"You are telling me back my own words and you want me to believe that you don't love me? I don't believe you. I know you still love me." He said confidently.

"You believe it or not, I don't care. Leave me alone."

"No. I won't leave you unti you say that you still love me."

"What kind of behavior is this? Leave me."

Yuerui didn't struggle. She said with cold eyes.

"Not until you say."

Yuerui mocked at Yefang. It's like she is seeing her reflection on him. Suddenly her eyes fell at the end of the corridor. She saw Xianw.a.n.g coming out of the party.

She looked at Yefang and said, "You said that I am single, right? Who told you that?"

"I know."

"Huh.... Then I have to say that you are wrong."

She flung his hands around her and walked straight to Xianw.a.n.g.

She approached him and said, "Mr. Kong the marriage proposal that you gave me is it still open?"

Xianw.a.n.g was surprised to hear what Yuerui said. He replied while stammering, "Y... Yes."

"Then only my answer is what you need, right?"

Xianw.a.n.g nodded.

Yuerui suddenly grabbed his tied and pulled him closed to her. Then kissed him on his cheek.

"Then this is my answer."
