This was an exclusive interview on Optus Sports an Australian channel. It was being broadcasted exclusively back home in Australia.

The interview immediately sparked debate and spread online as everyone hopped on and camps were quickly formed, some called the Australian team petty and jealous whilst others defended them and demanded for everyone to get drug tested.
