Cai Yuanfei was taller than Tang Yan but not by a huge margin.

Currently Tang Yan was only 5'4 but he knew his growth spurt was later than the average person. In his previous life, he had grown to 5'7 when he was 19 years old!

Moreover, that was in the case of poor nutrition at the time, it was inevitable that in this life he would grow taller. As for his weight, that was adjustable!

Cai Yuanfei reached out and touched gloves with Tang Yan and took a step back.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.

"Boxers at your ready!" The referee shouted as he waved his hand to signal the beginning of the fight.

Cai Yuanfei's mouth showed a faint smile.

Ding Ding!  The bell sounded.

Cai Yuanfei was everything Tang Yan thought he was. He was short and slow but as thick-bodied as a wrestler and his small round head looked like a real knuckle- breaker. He liked to get in close and methodically rip the middle out of his opponents.

Tang Yan went out fast and went three times around the stolid Taiwanese boxer, stabbing him with that long left, before Yuanfei could get set to throw a punch. He threw a long right and Yuanfei blinked as it smacked against the side of his jaw. Tang Yan lanced a left to Yuanfei's nose and a trickle of blood showed on his upper lip.

The crowd was on its feet instantly, yelling.

Cai Yuanfei was a relatively well-known boxer. His biggest advantage was that he was a relatively heavy puncher.

Yuanfei took another to the side of the head, then suddenly lunged inside, working both short powerful arms. Tang Yan's midsection and arms glowed an angry red.

Tang Yan took two more stiff joks to the ribs before he tied up the Taiwanese boxer. For a moment his legs felt rubbery. But before the referee could come to part them he pushed Yuanfei away with a surge of his shoulders and sent in a straight left that crashed between Yuanfei's nose and cheekbone.

Yuanfei's head went back as if on a hinge and Tang Yan hit him again while his chin was still tilted. Yuanfei dropped leadenly to his hands and knees. Tang Yan stood over him, hands ready, until the referee pushed him away and indicated him to the neutral corner.

Yuanfei was up at nine, but he was no longer the stolid, heavy fighter he had been. He looked around and he backed away as Tang Yan stalked across the ring at him. He tried to cover his head as Tang Yan came in savagely.

In a moment he had lost all his ringcraft and he backed into his own corner. Tang Yan nailed him there with another left then, weaving from side to side threw everything he had, beating down Yuanfei's guard, bouncing his round head from side to side with the fury of his attacks.

Cai Yuanfei took the hits and concentrated all his strength on his right. His purpose was clear, that is, to break through Tang Yan's defense.

"Boom!"

Cai Yuanfei punched Tang Yan's arm and made a dull sound.

The punch was solid, but Tang Yan wasn't knocked back. He weaved in again ; took two jolting

shots to the body as he missed a long right for the jaw.

They went at each other like a couple of bulldogs. They came together in the center of the ring, bending forward to attack. It was Tang Yan's right against Yuanfei's left, and there was the thunder of Thor in each. Neither backed up an inch.

They smashed and hooked and hammered. Each shooting in their punches straight and hard. Neither was trying to block.

Intending to stop the other or be stopped themselves.

And the crowd stood up and howled.

Cai Yuanfei was shocked, this reality was completely different from what he expected, Tang Yan was taking on his punches.

Tang Yan took the hits, using the unloading system to ease the burden his body was taking.

He set himself up and threw a hard, roundhouse right that crashed on the side of Yuanfei's face. Deliberately he swung his left and cut open from the opposite side. Yuanfei groaned, bowed behind his hands and fell back a step. Tang Yan followed him. He hooked his fist heavily into Yuanfei's unprotected stomach, then rocked him with a right and left to the sides of the head again as his hands dropped.

Yuanfei clutched at him, but his hands feebly slid down Tang Yan's arms and he went to, his knees, clinging to the second strand of ropes, his head bowed.

Thud!

With a dull sound, accompanied by a crisp sound, Cai Yuanfei's whole person fell like a broken kite to the canvas.

At the moment of landing, his body trembled and his mouth vomited.

When the referee saw Cai Yuanfei's situation, he immediately ran over to check him out.

He immediately called the medical staff to carry him down.

The audience was dumbfounded.

At this time, Tang Yan's calm was restored.

The referee looked at him a little, and got up to announce him as the winner.

When he was out the ring, even Qin Hailong, threw some strange looks at him.

"How come you went in so hard for him, did something happen?" Qin Hailong asked.

"If I can end it faster, why draw it out." Tang Yan answered with a small smile.

At this time, in a corner of the stands, Zhuang Jiajie had his eyes locked on him, the excitement in his eyes grew even stronger.

....

Tang Yan easily breezed through his next fight as well. Making it to the third round.

Ito Takeuchi, Staly Karimov, Park Sang-jun and the other boxers he noted, advanced to the next round, which was the quarterfinals.

All with the exception of the North Korean boxer, Kim Chaowu

Who matched up against the South Korean boxer Park Sang-jun.

Kim Chaowu's strength wasn't bad, but Park Sang-jun was too much for him.

However, the grievance between the two countries made it impossible for Kim Chaowu to easily admit defeat. As a result, in the three rounds of the contest, he stood back up after being knocked down three times. In the end, the fight was called after the third knockdown. His whole person was beaten and bruised but his willpower and tenacity was shown to the maximum.

However, in the end, Park Sang-jun pulled through and secured the victory, even though the fight was drawn out. He showed his dominance as the defending champion.

And with that Park Sang-jun was Tang Yan's next opponent.
