Chapter 102

Sung NMi has an almost smile on her face . She can feel the intense gaze on her back . She's used to being stared at . But, she has never felt this type of stare that feels like numerous thorns are p.r.i.c.kling her skin . She wants to electrocute the blue-eyed man with her lightening . Alas! She can't do it . She's at the castle of the n.o.ble vampire king . Striking a pureblooded vampire with her lightening will certainly get her in the vampire king's bad book .

Fu Sheng is gone too . She is a little irritated . Though they are immortal and time is a little of their worries, the mortals are being bitten and killed by those monsters . "Mister, why don't you call the king? We can have snacks while we discuss the problem . I also want to see the mate if you don't mind . If she's one of the new converts, she might be of help . "

There's no lack of those monstrous converts . But, the king's true mate is different . She wants to know what is different about her and why . Her body might be carrying the answer .  

"I cannot decide that, Miss . Sung . " Aiken sighs . "Only the King can decide whether he wants his true mate to get involved or not . "

Se-Yong looks at his sister . "Don't worry about it . I will make sure that he does whatever is necessary to save the world . "

"Call them here," She tells Aiken with a stern gaze . "Do you know how many humans are dying as we speak? If this continues, there won't be any human left on this planet . "

Se-Yong shakes his head . The human population is high and they are quite adaptable . He's sure that they will survive in the end . Saving human is not his goal . He wants to protect his sister and reopen the gates again . His family is stuck in the other realms .

"About that . . . " Aiken hesitates . Then, he senses Fu Sheng and Huang Qiuyan walking toward the throne room . He relaxes his shoulders . The little heavenly blessed girl makes him a little nervous when she's angry . The sp.a.w.n of darkness can never be comfortable around the blessed children of heaven . "The king is coming . "

Behind the door, Jin shudders when Klyn smiles at him .  

"What do you want?" Jin covers his chest .

"Give me your s.h.i.+rt . " Klyn bends down on his knees .

"Why do you want my s.h.i.+rt?" Jin looks at him with confusion . "Go fetch one from your room . "

"It will take too long to go to my room and get a s.h.i.+rt . " Klyn curses Kai in his mind for not even leaving a s.h.i.+rt in that room . He doesn't want to imagine what that eccentric man was going to his s.h.i.+rtless body .

He can't possibly walk into the throne room in this state . He doesn't want to leave this place for a second . "Jin, I will introduce you to girls after the world gets better . "

"I don't want to meet your women . " Jin s.h.i.+fts away from him .  

"They are not my women . They are n.o.body's women . " Klyn's smile gets wider . "I don't have time . I have to meet her right now . "

"Why?" Seeing the maniacal desperation in his eyes, Jin unb.u.t.tons his s.h.i.+rt and throws it in his direction . "I have never seen you become like this for a girl . Remember that she's a child of heaven . If you break her heart —"

"I don't mind getting hit by a few lightenings if I can kiss those lips . " Klyn wears the s.h.i.+rt quickly . It's a little loose on his body . He must have lost weight after getting hit by the enchanted wooden arrows . d.a.m.n hunters! This is not his best looks . He's sure that he doesn't look half bad . He salutes Jin and grins at him once before he walks into the throne room .

Jin pities his brother . What a foolish man! He hasn't realized yet . He stands up and walks toward his quarter . Being the only one in this castle that comes from the line of pureblooded vampires who specialize in true bonds, he is more sensitive to it than anyone else in the castle . Klyn has found his true mate .

When will this happen to him? Jin lets out a sigh . He wonders if it's as beautiful as watching the true mates gaze at each other for the first time .  

Aiken turns his head toward the door . Instead of the King, it's totally someone unexpected . When did this troublemaker wake up? "Klyn, you should be heading to the punishment chambers . "

Klyn stops walking . "Brother Aiken, you can't do this to me . I made one mistake . Didn't I help the king with his true mate?"

Aiken sighs . "Is it something you should be proud of?"

Never minding Aiken's words, Klyn stands close to Sung NMi, admiring her height .   She's two centimetres inches taller than him . He nearly whistles, but he stops when she gives him an icy look .

She's so beautiful . Klyn returns her icy look with a charming smile .

What a dork! Sung NMi side-steps toward her brother . What's wrong with this man's head? Why is he smiling at her? He looks like a happy dog who met his master . She doesn't like dogs and she doesn't want to be anyone's master .

"Let's wait for the king to come back," NMi tells her brother who has also noticed Klyn stealing glances on his precious baby sister .  

Klyn notices her discomfort . So, he steps back . He doesn't want to make her feel like that . But, he also can't help not looking at her . He can't understand why . There's no doubt that she's beautiful . But, he should be pretty immune to the beauties . Why is he feeling this way toward her though?

Who cares? Klyn isn't the type to think much about complicated matters . If it's complicated, it will uncomplicate itself in time . If it gets more complicated, then he's too lazy to think about it . Time resolves all problems .

When Fu Sheng pushes open the door, Sung NMi widens her eyes and smiles in his direction . When she sees the woman beside him, her smile starts to fade .

They are holding hands . The woman is looking at him with love in her eyes . There's unmistakable slight blush on Fu Sheng's face .

The smile returns on her face . The tinge of sadness disappears from her eyes . But, Klyn has seen it . He blinks when he realizes what it is . His heart grows heavy . Does she like the King?

Despite the disappoint that she feels in her heart, Sung NMi isn't the type of person who will ever after a taken man .  It's clear that Fu Sheng and his true mate have resolved the differences between them . Her brother did warn her . True mates will always be attracted to each other . They are meant for each other .  True bond is no less than a heaven's decree .  

She's also not someone who will sit around and cry for a crush that didn't last a day . She has a lot to do . "Fu Sheng, you are here . We can begin then . "
