Silver! When you think about it, for a vampire that's practically a death sentence, but then again s.h.i.+t like that doesn't mean s.h.i.+t to me. It was just my awesome anonymity of not being fully known or recognized as G.o.d, none of these guys know just exactly what they were going up against, and that's what I'm happily going to use against them. Now the problem is, between both G.o.ds, I have no idea of one was a G.o.d of darkness and the other a G.o.d of silver, or they both shared the domains, and when you think about it, such domains were weird, why would it be silver and darkness. Not unless........

"I trust you guys made quite a living killing vampires as humans right, or whatever race you were at the time of your ascension. Because I doubt you were silver miners and just suddenly grew strong enough to become G.o.ds." Jarl and Tarl didn't disappoint, G.o.ds were arrogant there was a boat load of them, but each and every single one of them expects mortals to know just exactly who the f.u.c.k they are.

"We would not care much for your insolence as we're about to end you, however you would be right in saying that at one point Jarl and Tarl were wardens of the pit, we grew our strength by quelling riots, rebellions and hunting down filthy bloodsuckers who thought to escape from our grasps. It was a fruitful three hundred years wasn't it brother?"

"Yes it was indeed."

I have pretty much heard enough, it was my aim to annoy them, but they just succeeded enough in getting me p.i.s.sed off. But that was okay, it gave me the element of surprise as I decided to so something that before becoming a G.o.d would have been considered completely stupid and suicidal. I wrenched my hand backwards, ripping out the divine soul of Jarl, the G.o.d of darkness and proceeded to eat it in front of both of them. Now the thing about souls is that they're the total sum of who a person is, even a G.o.d. However once you become angle, everything becomes one, so you can live without your soul, but at the cost of your loosing your power if not becoming mortal, and d.a.m.n did it p.i.s.s them off.

I s.h.i.+t forwards in one motion, calling out my sword and s.h.i.+eld as the seal holding back my G.o.dly form and energy vanished and Divinity gushed out of me like a dam that just had it's floodgates opened. Tarl was already shocked enough that I could rip out the soul of his brother in one move, which if I have to be honest was a sense of surprise we both shared, but I got over mine easily as Jarl's head went up into the air, and my residual soul energy blasted his weakened divine body to pieces. Even for me, that was probably a record of that fastest time it took for an individual to eliminate a G.o.d.

I didn't get why Tarl was still so shocked at the death of his body, even as the divinity of the dead G.o.d rushed into my body, I turned to his brother and sled my forehead into his, sending him flying through the tower which promptly collapsed, and into a couple of buildings in the city, creating a 100 meter crater from the impact. And all that came from a simple head-b.u.t.t, say what you have to, but being a G.o.d was freaking awesome. Either way there was something I was trying to avoid, he scope of the destruction would be really terrible if I should let this Tarl guy unleash his full divine form, and no matter what that was a scenario I desperately wanted to avoid, because should that happen, there would be nothing left of this city the guilty and the innocent will all die, and while I wasn't that much of a hypocrite to care about collateral damage when I had ran rough shod through the city earlier, if I could avoid it, I'd rather not condone senseless killings.

(TELEPORT!)

Tarl was beginning to release a beam of blinding silver light when I appeared in front of him and slammed my glowing right hand into his chest. He was pushed back twenty meters, his legs digging a furrow into the ground as he glared at me with undisguised rage and bloodl.u.s.t. He moved forward, but he suddenly faltered as the silver divine light around his body began to slowly fade in and out of it's brilliance. He looked up at me in shock and surprise as he screamed at me.

"What did you do! What have you done!" I shrugged my shoulders as I answered him.

"I'm sure by now my status as a G.o.d has not escaped your very astute observation, however my friend, what do you think I'm a G.o.d of, I mean apart from the obvious ability to completely control and manipulate souls and soul energy. Why don't you look at your chest, I'm sure you'll find the answer easily." I said to him as I sat on a boulder that seemed to have survived his crash to the ground.

He looked at his chest and was shocked to see a rune circle burnt into his chest, and spinning. I'm sure to him what he was seeing was incredibly ominous, but honestly it looked really beautiful to me. In a way it was some kind of poetic justice, something that I'll be visiting on all of the G.o.ds that have decided they had nothing better to do with their time but to court evil and very bad decisions.

"What is this? What have you done to me! What is this?" he shouted at me, in hysteria and shock.

"Oh don't you recognize it? That's the same seal that the vampire carried for hundred of thousand of years. Of course it's efficiency has been raised by a percentage of about...…10 thousand percent! So I'm sure it's quite different now. But take it as a meeting gift and also a parting gift from me, Kael Cor, G.o.d King of Souls and Runes. I hear the void is quite nice this time of the year, so enjoy none existence Tarl, G.o.d of silver!"

"No! No! Noooooooo! Stop! No!"

"Yes! Yes! And no I won't stop Yes!"

maybe mocking him wasn't too good a thing to do, but as his form began to dissipate into golden flecks of light, and his divine energy gus.h.i.+ng into my body while he became nothing but a memory, I reckon it was nice that the last thing he sees and hears is my face and voice.

"Whoo! That was a workout, now.... What's next?"
