[Third person POV]

Madara stared at his only student and didn't know what to feel or think.

"I asked you, f.u.kushū, what are you doing here?" He repeated his question.

"Sensei, did you read this tablet?"

Madara was caught off guard by his question.

"I did. When I awakened my MS, my father, previous clan head, brought me here." He was young at that time and when he red, there were a few thing that he didn't understand. However, he could read only some of it. The rest looked illegible.

"Sensei, let us join hands and create a truly peaceful place." Still looking like a mad man, f.u.kushū extended his hand.

"What are you talking, f.u.kushū!? We already have this village!" Madara asked in shock. This was the first time he saw this kind of side of his disciple.

"Sensei, do you believe those people so much, that you can no longer perceive the truth? Our clan will be forever be feared and discriminated."

Madara let out a sigh. 'That's right he doesn't know yet.'

"f.u.kushū, actually..."

"The war will break out again, Sensei." f.u.kushū returned his calm face and now his words had a lot more weight and layered heavily in Madara's consciousness. "Other nations started to form Hidden villages on their own. Once they become stable, they will surely start new wars for land, resources and fame."

f.u.kushū retracted his gaze and turned to the tone tablet. "I wasn't able to avenge my family. However, I do not regret it. I witnessed the creation of this 'peace' and was also led into this delusion. My wounded heart was recovering and I was finally able to relax. Nevertheless, the time to wake up came. I was thinking about the future and came to a conclusion. I do not want others suffer the same pain I did. I will create the world that will be free of wars, hatred and pain. I will acquire enough strength and lead this world in the right direction. "

f.u.kushū slowly walked past frozen Madara. "Sensei, read the message that was pa.s.sed on from the past again. You will be able to see the truth with those eyes." His EMS was slowly rotating as he send his last glance to his teacher and using his Kamui, disappeared from the shrine.

"f.u.kushū..." The last words of his disciple repeated in Madara's head and gave birth to something dark in his heart. Regret? Anger? No. He felt empty.

As if following somebody's orders, Madara activated his EMS and carefully scanned through the message of the past. As he kept reading, something faint, yet strong entered his consciousness and began to creep its way into his heart. However, as this dark 'something' was pa.s.sing through the body, it triggered a mark. Seconds later, a twelve-years-old girl appeared in the room with solemn and a little panicked expression.

When the meeting was over, I brought that ANBU back, healed him a little and left him be.

'Do not go against me. You should have known who was in front of you, so you were just trying to show off before your boss.' This was the note that I left in one of his pockets. This will make him rethink a number of things.

It was way past noon when I finally left the Hokage office. My stomach growled, but I was too lazy to cook today... I ended up going into my friends small restaurant. She is from Sarutobi clan, Ginda Sarutobi. She is an excellent cook and when we became friends, she learnt how to make vegetarian dishes and even invented her own! I walked there with and was hardly able to contain the drool inside of my mouth.

"Hi, Gindsan! What do you have as today's special?!" I sat at the counter and called her. A young woman in her early twenties came out of the kitchen at the back of the restaurant, holding a plate of something stemming inside. A sweet aroma filled the stall and it broke my drool-fence.

"h.e.l.lo, Malikchan! You came in the right time! I finally perfected your favorite dis.h.!.+ Look!"

She placed the plate before me and a splendid sweet bun was laying there with a few pieces of fruits.

"Is this the new invention you were bragging about few days ago?! You finally succeeded! I won't hold myself back! Itadakimasu!" Quite some time had pa.s.sed from the moment I came into this world and my motto is: 'Live by the rules of the place you stay'. I was carefully studying culture and habits of this world so now I'm completely fine with them.

The food was amazing. After I was full, since she refused my money, I went home to rest. Well I was planing to rest. The sun had already sat and the night was slowly approaching. I was resting on the sofa, when a sudden and loud 'ding!' resounded in my head. In an instant I was already up and was trying to locate the person from who this 'clck'was send. It was an emergency signal that I placed on my three friends so that incase something really horrible would happen to them.

'No good. Something is up with Madara.' I immediately found his location and teleported.

He was standing in the underground pa.s.sage, in an almost empty room with only an alter-like structure around a piece of stone. I could feel his aura was undergoing drastic changes and was emitting a lot of hostility and pain.

"Madara! Snap out of it!" He didn't even flinch. It was too late. He can't do wake up on his own. Okay, we will do it the hard way.~

I walked up to him and send a wave of mana through all of his body clearing any foreign interferences. The process was let's say... unpleasant. By the end of it I had a black substance on my palm and exhausted Madara on the floor. I burned the substance and healed the poor man.

"Hey, are you alright now?"

"Yeah... thank you." He stood up and smiled, but do not try to fool me.

"Madara, you know lying isn't going on me. Your aura will give you away." It was now calm, yet lonely and filled with sorrow.

"f.u.kushū left the village after he red through the tablet."

"WHAT?!" Just what happened while I was eating and chatting with Gindsan!?

I listened to his story. f.u.kushū is a smart man. However, the tablet message from the past was alarming. Both of them, the teacher who was one of the strongest s.h.i.+n.o.bi and his student, were in danger because of it. The later is now somewhere far away, since I couldn't sense him in 100 km radius.

"Madara, can I please inspect this tablet, please."

"Go ahead." I expected some resistance because it was something really confidential, but since we were able to avoid unnecessary drama, I proceeded with my idea. I looked at the symbols and activated learning magic. It allows you to learn anything just by looking at a thing for a few minutes.

"Wow!" I exclaimed unintentionally. The contents of the message were really interesting.

-The secrets of the Mangekyō Sharingan, such as instructions on how to obtain it, and its ability to control something called 'the tailed beasts'.

-The story about such people as the Sage of Six Paths, Kaguya and the G.o.d Tree.

Many other things were written there, but something felt really fishy here, especially the one phrase:

-The Uchiha would be saved by the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

The other factor that was a little worrisome was that after this phrase, the message felt as if it was written by a different person. "By no means should one seek the power of the of the G.o.d's eye or use it".

"Madara, why does this tablet contradict itself?" I asked confused only to see his flabbergasted face.

"Y-you can read it?!"

"Well, duh. If I couldn't I wouldn't be able to find the cause of the abnormality." I stated.

"Till what moment could you read?"

"Huh? Till the end. Why?"

He facepalmed and I could hear a light snicker.

"Heh. You are the true abnormality here. The tablet can only be red by the Sharingan and even at this stage," he activated his EMS, "I wasn't able to see the end."

"I see." No help from him then. I came closer to the tablet and put my hand on it. I made my mana flow through the stone. I wanted to see if something will change. It did. The contents of the letter were changed and that dark, cold and annoying substance again formed on my palm. Yack. Go to h.e.l.l! Only ashes remained.

I started reading the new version of the letter and...

"MADARA!!! READ THIS!" He was startled by my sudden outburst, but started to read once again. His face kept on changing from shock to confusion then it became solemn.

"Madara, it appears that someone had placed a really, REALLY powerful Genjutsu on this thing and was trying to deceive this clan... The Genjutsu was so strong, that even you, who possess the EMS was still caught in it... no. It was designed to catch those who have those kind of eyes."

The situation was bad. Someone wants to bing Kaguya back and we can't even spot him. Now that person has poor f.u.kushū as its p.a.w.n.

"Madara, the tablet contains no more lies, but don't let others see it. Keep that tradition of yours. No need to stir any troubles in the village, as it is still stabilising."

"What about f.u.kushū?" He asked in crushed tone. I could understand him. His only student, whom he cherished greatly, was now a chess piece of some ent.i.ty that wants to bring th end to this world.

"I'm sorry. I can't help him now. I've been trying to find him from the moment you told me the story, but even after pus.h.i.+ng my limits, I couldn't find him." I hanged my head. I searched in at 500 km radius, but it was as if he just disappeared from this world. Not even a trace of him remained. The feeling of guilt was crus.h.i.+ng my heart.

"It's not your fault. Blame that thing which changed him." He sighed and ruffled my hair.

"Lets go. We have to talk about it with our Hokage and his right hand".
