in front of the door, Elijah saw a beautiful curvy figure. Though her face was considered ordinary, those ruby-red eyes make everything around her seemed to lose color for a moment.

The girl wore a white silk dress, with long emerald-green hair falling to the waist and skin as white as snow.

Elijah gawked, not even seeing Shadow's true form, had left him like this.

Elijah looked at the girl, standing by the door, and could not help but gasp softly in her heart. Among all the women he saw, Shadow was the most beautiful, but this neighbor of his, was on the same level.

What he did not noticed was that the girl was as stunned as him.

'It's him! I never thought the first mission that old geezer had given me after reincarnating was to observe him. He had growed so much on this few time, but the worst was that he didn't even seem to recognize me.'

after recovering his senses, he took a gla.s.s flask from his backpack.

"Oh right, this is the stellar ashes you had asked."

"Thanks, I'm Aryanna, a first year in the genius cla.s.s."

"I'm Elijah, the same as you in the first year of the genius cla.s.s."

Aryanna taked the gla.s.s flask, Elijah had given her and said.

"Nice to meet you but i'm making potions so i need to go back to my room. See you tomorrow."

And she walked to the door on the right of his room and entered.

During the night after talking with Isaac about when cla.s.s will begin and the academy's welcome ceremony which will happen tomorrow morning, Elijah was training and thinking about how to use his divine ability that despite being powerful, he still does not have much control over it.

"Void s.p.a.ce is a ability that anule energy in area but i can only use once for day and until now it wasn't much userful, maybe if i try to use it like a force field would be the better way to use it."

Elijah raised his hand and said. "Great spirits of lightning and thunder, hear my voice and lend me the power to crush my enemies [Lightning Hands]"

A pale blue lightning raised from his right hand and on his he infused his energy witought using spell to change it to a element.

"Nice, now..."

The energy disappeared from his hand, but the lightning had not.

'i was right, it only works with pure energy, but not with elements or fused energies. Now i'll try to merge [Void s.p.a.ce] into [Lightning Hands]'

The s.p.a.ce around him trembled as the light blue lightning turned into a light gray lightning bolt, but that lightning was as powerful as Elijah felt a piercing pain and all his energy was wasted.

In a few seconds the lightning disappeared, leaving behind a scent of burning flesh and a hand full of burn marks.

"Ahh s.h.i.+t! It hurts." From a case, Elijah grabs a green potion and splashed on his hand.

"Better sleep before I kill myself here."

The next day, Elijah went to the academy's welcome ceremony in the main building.

There he saw hundreds of chairs for the students with only a few people there, maybe the older students were busy with something else. Ophelia and Luna were sitting next to other girls they had met in the dormitory yesterday and on the left Elijah saw Zaid calling him pointing to a chair next to him.

Elijah walked to Zaid and seated on the chair beside him.

"Hey Zaid, had the ceremony already begin?"

"No, from what I heard at all the welcome ceremonies there is an event where the new students with the best talent, which is easy because Valhalla Academy only accepts 20 students per semester. You must also have heard about the genius of alchemy and genius with the academy had accepted this semester and were send direct to the genius cla.s.s. When I arrived at this school I thought I would at least have some fame, but when I came here two monsters like that have appeared. It makes things more difficult for us normal students."

Elijah nodded without saying he is one of those two monsters.

When they were talking, the Academy's Headmaster Isaac, walked into the stage which was a few meters higher than where the students were seating.

"Silence! Good, I would like to welcome everyone on this year and wish you all a good year full of achieviments. Like every year i would like to call two students which were the most remarkables we had in this recruitment."

Hearing Isaac's voice everyone has shut their mouths but all their eyes s.h.i.+ned when they heard about those two students especialy the males, after hearing the Alchemy Genius was a green-haired beauty.

"I would like to call Elijah Branches and Aryanna Kohar the new students in the genius cla.s.s!"

"What!?" Zaid looked at Elijah. "It was you?"

Elijah scratched his head and said embarra.s.sed.

"Yeah, wait while i go there before we talk about this."

Then Elijah stand and walked to the stage a beside him a girl had also get up on the stage.

Seeing this girl he was startled. 'It's her!?'

Standing side by side they introduce themselves.

"I am Elijah Branches, ten years of age and a first realm Divine Magus."

"I am Aryanna Kohar, also with ten years of age and a second realm Mystic Enchanter."

Isaac look at Elijah and Aryanna then at the other studentas and said.

"Well, I'd like you all to know that talent or power is nothing without intelligence, wisdom, and willpower. With these three things, even a person without talent could reach great heights. if you are feel envy of them, it means you are not putting enough effort in your training and the lives of all of you here are just beggining, several things could happen in the future, so..." Isaac give a dramatic pause and shouted.

"Intelligence! Wisdom! and Willpower!"

And all the students repeated excitedly.
