“I didn't expect Li Qianyi and Wu Lijun to behave like that at the restaurant just now. If I knew, I wouldn't have called out to you. That's just how they're like. I hope you don't take it to heart. I won't hang out with them again in the future,” said Guan Xiaolin angrily.
“You're telling me to let it go but you seem angrier than me.” Song Yu smiled and said, “I'm fine, really. I was never close to them. It took me some time to recall who they are by their names. Furthermore, we hold different values. I don't think being self-sufficient is anything to be ashamed of. Don't stop hanging out with them because of this small matter. After all, connections matter to you.”
“You're still like the Song Yu I used to know. It's hard for you to care about anything as if nothing can make you angry. It seems like I have more of a role in your life than yourself.” Guan Xiaolin shook her head as she did not know whether to laugh or cry.

The conversation went on with Guan Xiaolin until Song Yu let out a yawn accidentally. She could hide her fatigue no more and this was caught by Guan Xiaolin. Xiaolin urged Song Yu to get some rest and hung up after.
Song Yu dragged her tired body to the bathroom, removed her makeup, and took a shower before she went to bed. She fell asleep the moment she closed her eyes.
