Marcus took a step back as this was an experience outside his experience. People did not try to get close to him. Usually it was the opposite. At this moment his security detail arrived. Cally staring at him like a starving woman looking at the last piece of cheesecake, without even glancing away, held up her hand to the arriving force. "You may not enter without permission." And just like that his men were unable to enter. They were at the open door but could not raise one foot to enter. Everyone was shocked besides Cally and her two girls that were calmly waiting to get changed. Jessie and Abby had a BFF moment, "she's like Professor X!"
"You didn't say... Are you mated?" Cally was almost at that moment a little nervous she started twirling her hair in her porcelain white fingers. *Cough cough* "Marcus! Thank G.o.d you're here! She's crazed! Kill it!" Catherine Rosemount had managed to collapse onto a nearby couch. Catherine was the pride and joy of her Father, the clan chief of Red Cliffs. She could do no wrong and even if she did, so what? Sadly for Catherine she just reminded Cally she hadn't thrown her out too. Cally slowly removed her eyes from her new idol and looked at the stupid woman who had invaded her territory. "The law. The law is clear. You and your people invaded MY territory. You were stealing MY things. I am within my rights to kill you and skin you and hang your pelts on my door as a warning to others. Do you deny the law?" All this was said in a oppressive tone. Catherine actually shrank back, "No these are my rooms you are the intruder!" Cally took a deep breath, "then why are my things in your rooms?
"Why do I smell Olen as if these were where he lived for decades? Why were you putting my things in boxes? Why does a Council woman not KNOW THE LAW!" "Be quiet. can't you see I'm meeting a G.o.dlike figure, this is an important moment!" And just like that Catherine Regina Rosemount of Red Cliffs was completely silenced. Marcus turned to his men in the doorway that were struggling with everything they had to enter the door. "Men, see to the injured. I've got this." He turned back to the beautiful girl before him. A strange thought pa.s.sed quickly through his mind, " she would fit perfectly under his shoulder." Instead he said to her, " You are Olen's friend?" "He told me he had a young female friend coming." Nothing could have taken Cally's mind off the man before her except these words. Her Olen.
Cally unclasped her hands that had been put together in a pleading gesture under her chin as she waited to hear him speak. "Yes." Cally stepped back and looked down gathering her thoughts. *Sigh* She looked at her girls so patiently waiting. "I'm going to take the girls back to help them change. I'll be back in a few minutes to talk about this bimbo and her henchmen and their punishment. Then you can take me to Olen. I need to take care of him." With that she led the two wolves down a hallway. The girls had even picked up their luggage and were dragging it along.
