When I logged back into the game what faced me was a blank ceiling. I heard the sounds of birds, the wind, and the softness of the bed underneath me, letting me know that I was probably back on New Gaia, and in my villa. My involuntary genocide aside, I felt at home here, like this was a place that was meant for me.

Either way, I felt that it was about time I checked on my gains after practically carrying out a grand theft auto on a planet full of thieves.

Reading about it's description from my inventory was quite stupid, because after I finished reading it, I couldn't help but want to pull it out. In lost Descendants online, there's no such thing as a player inventory, however there were bags and other equipment that could hold and carry things. Mine has always been around me, ever since I bought it during the knockout stage of the trial of revelations.

I placed my hand on the bag, and the sword came out, floating in the air as it glinted with a deep blue light. The hilt of the sword seemed to be casted from some sort of green metal, and the top of the hit had a trident emblazoned on top of it. What came next was the blade of the sword, it was completely unlike what I expected the sword of Barbossa to be like. For one, Barbossa's sword, was more saber than sword, it was dark, rusty and really wide.

But the sword in front of me, was a double edge long sword about a meter long from hilt to tip, and it's entire blade was a deep sea blue. But that wasn't all, the blade of the sword looked it was actually made of an almagamation of blue and if turned to the other side, green scales. And not the draconic kind, but more like the fish kind.

As the sword floated there, I could feel a cool ocean breeze? Or at the very least I had this feeling that I was standing on a boat, right in the middle of the sea, experiencing both storm and calm at the same time. It was freaking weird! Like spooky to the point of me reconsidering whether I should even place my hands on that sword or not.

I raised my hand, and stretched it towards the sword. Almost immediately it shot into my hand and I wrapped my fingers around the hilt. What followed next was beyond amazing that's it's really hard for me to describe. I felt like I was swimming, surfing, and deep sea diving at the same time. I felt so relaxed, and calm, like I could flow around and through anything, just like water. d.a.m.n this felt good, but I still had to check other things out too.

I noticed something quite peculiar, and that was the fact that stat points are always gifted and automatically allocated. However skill points are not. I don't know why that was, but what was really driving me insane right now, was my Mana pool and Health pool. They were was huge, and I'm sure most would say +150 intelligence, wisdom and const.i.tution was much too small for a legendary weapon with a divine hidden grade. But Lost Descendants online relied on equipment rather than stats for strength, which is to say this was probably one of the best among legendary weapons.

It was a sword, but it was invariably made for casters or people who leaned more towards magic. Apart from the boost to their mana pool, the boost to their magical damage would also be astronomical. I loved my Sky, especially in her bow form. But this sword is to d.a.m.n OP for me not to pay attention to it. Of course I really didn't need to use it all the time, I could just keep it sheathed, but it's skills were also jaw dropping. So this means I would have to switch up my battling style once in a while.

Now I could probably increase the levels of some of my skill, but there were a lot of them as it is. But I had an option for that. I was given three skill combining gems, which means I could combine some of my skills, to make my skill list less cl.u.s.tered. The only problem was that I had no idea what to combine, I've not used a lot of them yet, so I couldn't say which one was better left alone or not.

But back to the matters on hand. I still had two treasure boxes of the heavens grade to open. And based on what I've found out, opening heaven grade boxes was like a lottery, in fact all treasure boxes were like that. You might risk your life to get a legend grade box, but the moment you open it, it's empty and all the trouble you went through would have just been for nothing.

I expected this to happen, I knew it was a possibility, about a 20% chance, but I never expected it to happen to me. I'm supposed to be the incredibly lucky son of the system. The one person this entire game actually favors, ahh! I must have gotten used to getting really fun stuff, I guess a setback was in order.

Okay what the h.e.l.l is this s.h.i.+t? What the h.e.l.l am I supposed to do with nanites. And what's worse is the fact that three canisters of the nanites, are made from three of the rarest minerals in game history, and the master nanite, which was just an elaborate golden bug, seemed to be made of another magical metal. What a waste.

Either way, I guess I'm done with all of this then. There were gains, and there were disappointments. But I think everything is fine for now, now all I had to do was focus on the trial of revelations and getting stronger, it was the only thing I could do now.

"Come in!" I answered as I looked at the door with a wary look.

Jack, Zack, Darke, Mack and the strange lady we grabbed from quadrant 1 walked into the room. And right behind them was a hound sized Sky, who ran past them, climbed the bed and rested her head on my lap as she stared curiously at the sword in my hands. I think I have to keep a close eye on her, if she eats this, it's going to break my heart.

"Welcome back Master Aaren, we were getting a little worried." Jack said to me as they got closer.

"I'm sorry for worrying you guys Jack, but I had to spend some time with my son. So tell me what's happened since I've been gone."

I answered him as I got off the bed, making sure to take my new sword with me. I really didn't like the look Sky was giving it.

Jack getting over his initial shock of the fact that I had a son, cleared his throat as he began to narrate the events that had taken place sine I've been logged off.

"There's been a lot of public outrage about the destruction of a quarter of the Quadrant 1 pirate city, especially with the loss of lives involved. Though some forces are actually happy about it since the pirates have been a problem for quite some time. However, some of the forces are using it as a propaganda to bolster their reputation by denouncing you and painting a picture of you being a murderous psychopath." Jack said with a troubled look on his face.

"wow! Let me guess; my main accusers wouldn't happen to be the Patmosian royal family would it, particularly the king and his son?" I asked as I stretched my arm.

"Yes you're right. But since you're a chosen, and a traveler from another world, there's not much that could be done to you. But there's a lot of politics being played around with due to the incident. The church of Adonai and the elven minister have both released official statements describing the original events and trying to exonerate your name. They've been partially successful, but quite a lot of people still think you're a bad person." Jack explained.

"Well there's nothing to be done about that now; is there? My commands killed all those people, I don't regret it, because it was a call I had to make to save your lives, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. But it was still wrong, and I feel remorse and guilt, so if there's any punishment to be had, I'll shoulder it all. Now tell me, if there's anything else I have to worry about." I asked as I made my way to the balcony right outside my bedroom.

"There's a problem alright, it's about this s.h.i.+p we just stole. I can't fix it"
