Inside of a small carriage heading torwards the Imperial Capital, John was reading a book about the races that reside in Andromeda. Despite of the fact the information in the book was something that he had already knowledge, he could be seen to frown from time to time. Beside him, Vladimir was snoring happily while Father Jonas was gazing the landscape outside. When Father Jonas saw coincedentally John lost in thought he couldn't help but be curious
" Is the content of the book that complicated to make you frown so hard?"
John was surprised when he was suddenly asked a question, but after some time he shook his head toward Father Jonas as he was answering
"It's not that. This book only explains what kind of races exist in Andromeda along with their characteristics". John replied as he showed the cover of the book to the old priest.
" This book was actually written from a renown adventurer. A good friend of mine and your father, but also a really eccentric person." the priest said with a wry smile.
" So, what made you doubtful about this book? "
"Maybe my thinking is flawed, but don't you find it strange that so many organisms in Kelvin have advanced intelligence? Humans, elves, dwarves, demons, orcs. And even if we consider that these species have many similar traits since they are humanoid and maybe come from the same ancestors, then what about species like dragons. I am surprised that I still haven't found someone to try to make a more thorough research about it". John said somewhat disappointedly
" I don't really understand you my child, the things that you mention are already written in the 'holy book' ".said Father Jonas doubtfully. Upon hearing this, John came to a sudden realization.
After that fateful night six years ago, memories started to appear out nowhere in his brain. These memories were faint and didn't create any change in his personality, but it's obvious that the way he was viewing the world since then wasn't the same as before.
" I see Father Jonas, I was confused for no reason". John said quickly. He broke in cold sweat when he realised that his comments could mix him in some kind of trouble.
"It's okey. But try to be more mindful of your words when we meet with the Order of princess Adriana. Others maybe misunderstand you for an heretic" Said Father Jonas with a kind smile
The youth didn't doubt at all the priest. The Empire isn't theocratic but that didn't mean you could openly challenge the position of the Church. After silently scolding himself for his carelessness he thanked Father Jonas and closed his eyes to rest.

Two days pa.s.sed since the departure of John and Vladimir from the Moon Village. Luckily for them, they didn't meet any serious trouble except from some demon beasts that Vladimir slained easily. In the third day they finally reached a small port-town named St.Nicolas.
" Listen kids, unless something unexpected happen we'll meet with princess Adriana tommorow. We' ll stay the night here so be careful. This isn't the Moon Village. Many bandits live in small towns like these and we don't want to have many dealings with the local authority too". The priest said as he commanded the driver of the carriage to enter St.Nicolas.
The sun had already set when they found an inn with free rooms to stay. Although the town was small, it had an unsual liveliness that caught the interest of the two youths. That being said, they didn't dare to make trouble for this old priest. They remained calm and collected despite the enthousiasm that existed around them.
