Guy was overwhelmed when he heard that. The Hachimon Tonko is listed as a forbidden technique for two reasons.

1. The backlash of opening each gate gets worse and worse.

2. The opening of last gate leads to death.

The first one can be gradually reduced by training while nothing can be done for the other. And now here is someone who claims can remove the effect of the last gate. It's no wonder that Guy is this shocked. .

Guy " Ry..Ryu..are you serious? Is there really a way? "

Ryu nodded " Guy, you are clear on how the Hachimon Tonko works. When you open a single gate tremendous amount of physical energy is released. This energy will only increase with the next gate.

The problem is that you can't control this energy and your body can't keep up with the amount of energy released. All the energy inside your body is released rapidly, that is also the reason why you can't keep the gates open for awhile. "

Guy nodded as he knew this. Hachimon Tonko requires the user to train his body to contain tremendous amount of physical energy. The amount needed to open each gate is staggering.

Ryu " An ordinary person training the Hachimon Tonko will only have one result..Death. But your body is insanely strong.... so much so that it can withstand the backlash upto Seven Gates. Frankly speaking this is impossible.

If you push your body beyond its limits over and over....it will one day break. But to practice Hachimon Tonko your body needs to produce tremendous amount of physical energy. What I mean is... Each time when you break your limit your body must evolve to produce even more energy.

Do you really think an ordinary person can do that?. That's why most people die when they open beyond the Sixth Gate "

Guy interrupted " Then why am I alive?"

Ryu " Because of your physique. You trained your body so much that it awakened a special const.i.tution... even though it's just One percent."

Ryu wished for Guy and Lee to possess Yang physiques but when he fought with Guy for his Jounin promotion Navii informed that Guy already possessed a Yang physique, albeit only one percent awakened.

This explained why Guy was able to open upto Seven gates. Then this would also explain how Lee was able to also open the Seventh gate years later. These two lunatics trained their body so hard that they naturally awakened a Yang Physique.

Guy " Special Const.i.tution?"

Ryu " Yep, its called a Yang physique. when I fought with you I already had my suspicions but now that I see you...your body has already surpa.s.sed it's limits!!. No matter how hard someone trains their body it's impossible have such an improvement in two short years. "

Guy " So what do you suggest?"

Ryu " To remove the effects of Hachimon Tonko, you need to fully awaken your physique."

Guy " And how do I do that?"

Ryu pointed at himself " Me of course. I can use my wood chakra to awaken your physique. Wood chakra also possess similar effects so it will stimulate your body."

Ryu lied through his teeth. Although what he said was correct but it wasn't entirely true. If that was the case then Tobirama would have already figured that out.

Guy took some time to process all that information. He asked " What do I need to do?"

Ryu " Awakening a physique is a bit different from awakening a bloodline, your body as whole changes so we need to find a safe place where no one will disturb us."

Guy " I know a place, no one will disturb us there."

Ryu " Good. Also until we are done don't inform anyone."

Guy nodded. They both agreed to meet here tomorrow. Ryu put his own training own hold until Guy has awakened his physique.

Next day....At night

Guy and Ryu got to the agreed spot. They left towards the outskirts of the village bordering the forest of death. Guy showed a hollow tree inside the forest. He was correct, no one would come out here this late at night and the spot was well hidden.

Ryu " Guy, sit in meditation."

Guy did as he was told and sat. Ryu placed both his hands behind Guy's back. He channeled his chakra inside Guy's body.

Slowly Guy's body started to change. Ryu used his chakra to sense what was happening. His body was being reconstructed!!. Right now Guy's body only possessed One percent of Yang cells but as time pa.s.sed his body slowly changed.

Two hours later.... Guy opened his eyes and slowly stood up. For a moment he couldn't control his body and nearly crashed into the ceiling.

Guy was astounded. He didn't think his body's change was so great that he wouldn't be able to control it. He calmed down and sensed his body, he was shocked to find his strength increase by atleast One fold.

Ryu " Don't be that surprised. Yang Physique gives you huge recuperative powers. It removed those hidden injuries within your body increasing your strength."

Guy " This is amazing Ryu!! My body feels amazing. Now I should be able to Open upto Sixth gate without any backlash."

Ryu " But you may still die if you open the Eighth gate."

Guy was confused " But didn't you say that having a Yang physique will remove that problem."

Ryu " I did say that but I also said that you have no control over the energy released by your body. So, for you to be alive even after opening the Eighth Gate, you need to control that energy."

Guy was down " But how, it's impossible to keep that energy inside."

Ryu " That was before, not now. Open the first gate."

Guy did as he was told

Guys body released green vapour but his skin didn't turn red. He was relaxed.

Ryu " Now try to contain all that energy inside."

Guy tried to do that but failed. He was only able to hold that energy for a second before he lost control. But Guy felt something when he tried to keep that energy inside. He did it again and this time clearly felt what happened.

Ryu " You felt it, didn't you? Your body is strong enough to hold the energy released by the first gate. Now all you need to do is to improve your control over that energy.

In time your body will grow stronger and you will be able to keep all that energy inside without burning it. The last gate actually draws out every ounce of physical energy within your body.. which also includes your blood as well.

Usually a user of Hachimon Tonko doesn't have a strong body to contain this power and not enough control over this energy, that's why every user of this technique dies after opening the last gate."
