A Warrior's Path 88 Chapter 88. Kakuzu And Hidan

Ryu and s.h.i.+sui were calm as they knew this would happen. But that's not the same for Sasuke and Izumi. They could feel this new strength Itachi emanated, this shocked them to their cores.

Itachi was also surprised, he didn't think his eyes would evolve further. Moreover it seemed like his eyesight returned becoming even stronger.

Ryu interrupted everyone's thought's " Enough day dreaming. Izumi, Sasuke, come sit before me. Now that Itachi's problems have been dealt with, it's time to awaken your eyes full potential."

Both of them were excited. They did as Ryu said. Ryu took out two pills.

" Eat these. It will ease your transformation."

Ryu lied without batting an eye. Sasuke and Izumi didn't question what he gave them and swallowed the pill. Ryu placed his palms on their spine and channeled his energy through them. The moment his energy came in contact with these pills they started to melt and blend with Sasuke and Izumi's bloodline.

Nothing happened on the outside but their bodies were changing. Sasuke and Izumi felt their eyes heat up for a few seconds then a comfortable feeling arose in their eyes.

More than half an hour later...

Sasuke opened his eyes first, his Sharingan flared. It changed shapes continuously from one tomoe.....two...three... Mangekyo then finally it again evolved to Eternal!!

Like in the anime Sasuke's Mangekyo was star patterned. Sasuke touched his eyes, he couldn't believe what just happened. He quickly looked towards Izumi, she still had her eyes closed. A small frown upon her face, Sasuke and the rest got worried seeing this.

Sasuke asked quickly " Ryu san, will Izumi nee san be alright? "

Ryu " She is fine, her Bloodline purity was nowhere near you guys. She needs a bit more time than you. Itachi had problems within his body so his awakening took much time, as for hers... she should awaken in about ten minutes."

Like Ryu said Izumi opened her eyes a bit more than ten minutes. Her beautiful face got even more mesmerising with her Sharingan. Everyone watched intently, they all wanted to see what kind of changes happened to her eyes.

Izumi's Sharingan kept on spinning until it finally stopped. Her Mangekyo was so beautiful, it took on the shape of a lotus blooming. Itachi was a bit dazed but quickly snapped back, this didn't escape Izumi's eyes. She blushed.

' So he does notice me!! '

Ryu didn't pry on about their eyes abilities. He left them after saying saying goodbye. Izumi and the rest wanted him to stay for a bit longer but Ryu declined. Now that he has done what he can to make everyone stronger, it's time for him to hunt.

As Ryu walked to his home, he asked " Navii, how much WP do I have? "

Navii " Master currently has 16500 WP. "

Ryu ' Currently I have no urgent need for WP. So better save them to buy a strong bloodline.'

As days pa.s.sed, the village received information about Akatsuki's movement. There were sightings of seeing people wearing black cloaks with red clouds imprinted all over it.

Every village send their s.h.i.+n.o.bi after them but the end result.... total annihilation.

Ryu didn't bother with any of these. He knew some of the places Akatsuki would strike next, so he spoke to Sarutobi and the others and left. None of them questioned his decision, he alone could defeat every kage within their own village much less others. So they let him do as he please.

Ryu leisurely walked through the forest ' If I were to continue in this direction, I would reach those monks temple. One of the twelve guardian s.h.i.+n.o.bi Chiriku would be there.'

Couple of days later ....

Ryu stood before a large gate. A few monks saw him approach and asked politely

" Sir, what can I do for you? "

Ryu replied casually " Nah, just here for some sightseeing. After all this is the famous Fire Temple and to see Chiriku."

The monk smiled, he nodded his head and lead Ryu inside. Those gates opened as they neared. Ryu was lead inside, as he walked through the door he could see other monks doing various activities, some were praying, some practicing staff arts, like so.

Ryu came inside the temple, the monk pointed towards a seat as he said

" Sir you can rest here or move around temple. I will inform head monk of your arrival. "

Ryu stood atop those stairs as he watched those monks train. As he watched them his mind wandered off to when his father from his previous life trained him. He was always harsh on Ryu when it comes to training but he meant well.

' *sigh* Good times..'

A voice suddenly interrupted his thoughts

" How are my students, sir Ryu? "

Ryu turned back, in front of him stood a monk with a calm face. He had a piece of cloth same as Asuma's on his waist. This symbolised the monk's status as a guardian s.h.i.+n.o.bi.

Ryu smiled as he spoke " Not bad, Chiriku san."

Chiriku laughed lightly " Thanks. So what brings you here? "

Ryu " Nothing, just had some business to take off. As I was pa.s.sing by I thought to check this place out since Asuma speaks about it often."

He didn't lie, his talks with Asuma always brought up Chiriku, they were like war comrades and that bond will never fade.

Chiriku thought back to those years when they fought side by side, his face showed a calm smile as he asked " How is he?"

Ryu " Doing good. Been chasing a girl for years now, I guess he would be a father sooner or later."

Chiriku " Haha, that he will."

Just as they were about to speak further.....

BANG!!!

A huge noise was heard from the gate's direction. Chiriku frowned, he and Ryu quickly went towards the gate.

A monk stumbled towards them, his face was covered in blood. As soon as he saw Chiriku

" Teacher!! Two people attacked our temple!! They destroyed the gates and injured dozen of our people. They are too strong, What should we do!!?? "

Chiriku calmed him down " Gather the rest of our people and retreat. I will take care of these intruders."

Both of them reached the entrance, two people clad in black with red clouds imprinted on it stood before them.

One of them wore an open coat, he had a wild look on his face and carried a strange weapon that looked similar to a scythe.

The other one was similar to a zombie, his eyes were green while the rest of it were brown.

These two were commonly referred as the immortal duo,

Kakuzu and Hidan!!
