-At the Village-

"f.u.c.k! This old hag is strong!" Shao Tan complained. Dripping with blood, Shao was panting and his face is slowly turning purple because of the poison.

"At this rate were doomed." Mo said. He too was not in good shape, his blade is broken in half and his body is full of wounds. His face is contorted in agony because of the poison.

"Die! Foul-mouthed brat!" Kana once again charged at Shao with incredible speed. Swiping his nails at Shao's head.

Shao hastily avoided the strike while casting his "Blade Draw" towards Kana's abdomen.

"RAHHH!!"

At the same time, Mo dashed and prepared to stab at Kana's ankle, he was really exhausted because of the TP consumption but gritted his teeth to do one last attack.

"Ignorant kid!" Suddenly Kana turned around and faced Mo drilling her nails into his heart.

"I already knew you were targeting my ankle." Kana scoffed.

Because of the sudden movement, Shao's "Blade Draw" missed the target. He stumbled and fell because of TP exhaustion.

Sensing the change, Mo tried to dodge by jumping sidewards but was unluckily stabbed at his rib cage. Drilling her sharp nails into Mo's rib cage before driving it into a nearby wall.

"Arghhh!!!~" A gut wrenching shout couldn't help but escape from Mo's mouth because of the pain. He suddenly realized that this was all real. After reincarnation, his mind subconciously treated this world a game. He subconciously rejected the reality and his mind was always on alert. He treated the people in this world as NPCs so he chose to be alone.

These thoughts came gus.h.i.+ng into his mind and he suddenly let out a laugh, a laugh full of indignation.

"Hahaha, f.u.c.king blazers!"

Seeing that the kid was laughing instead of begging for his life, Kana got inferiorated she was about to end his life when suddenly...

"Savages!! Die!!" an angry shout with a hint of fury was heard. The aura was full of holiness but it was mixed with grief.

Kana jump in fright. That voice was all too familiar. Suddenly, jumping from the top of a roof. A bulky man carrying a corpse in his shoulder is swinging his ma.s.sive axe that is connected to his arm down towards Kana.

"Gordon?! How?!" Kana is in disbelief. She was about to dodge the strike but when she tried, Mo was clinging into her arm like his life depends on it not moving one bit.

"Brat!! Move!!! No!! Nooo....."

"RAHH" Gordon's full powered strike cut Kana into half.

A pure white light suddenly enveloped Mo's tired body and notifications after notifications flooded into his head.

"You okay kid? You've marked up but the poison on your body is still there." Gordon said to Mo.

"Don't worry about me, help Shao Tan first. His poisoned too." Mo said while sitting up and adjusting his state of mind.

Gordon nodded and dashed towards the unconcious Shao Tan. He then brought Shao Tan beside Mo.

"Kid, I don't have much time left. I'll absorb the poison in your bodies but please bring young master Shao and my 2nd son towards Dawn City." Gordon then placed his hand on Mo and Shao's back and muttered. "n.o.ble Sacrifice"

This is the skill effect of his "Guardian's Buckler" it allows the user to absorb the damage and negative conditions on the targets body.

"Arghh!!" Gordon couldn't help but grunt because of the poison. His face paled and he coughed out a mouthful of blood.

Mo felt that his body became light again upon the absorption of the poison and because of his mark up, his body is at 100% again. While the visible wounds on Shao's body healed in a visible rate. Despite Shao still being unconcious, his condition stabilized.

"Kid, do me a favor, bring young master Shao and my 2nd son to Dawn City. My 2nd son will know who to find after you arrive there. And please deliver this to Balrog Kingdom's 4th Prince in the future." Gordon said placing a sealed small chest on Mo's hand.

"But.." Mo was about to reply when Gordon continued.

"I'll tell my son to find you by the port. Please do this for the Kingdom of Balrog kid!" Gordon then dashed towards the village head's office.

Mo stared at Gordon's back, on his shoulder a body of a teen with a face that looked a lot like him. Mo can feel the agony and despair that he was feeling. He gripped the chest tightly. He was indignant on his weakness. He then swore to repay his kindness and complete the task ahead.
