-Village Head's Office-

William was sweating profusely while carrying the dead body of Randy when he arrived at the village head's office.

"Village head! William here! Something terrible has happened!" William exclaimed loudly outside the office.

After a few seconds the office door opened and an old but st.u.r.dy built man with white hair and bushy beard came out of the door. He was wearing a sleeveless cloth armor, a pair of cloth pants and an oversize boots. A tattoo of a ma.s.sive bladed axe with a 1 meter long handle can be seen on his right shoulder.

"Calm down William, what happened?" the old man said calmly. Glancing at William he saw the body on his shoulder and recognized it as Randy.

"Head! When I found Randy's body..." William then informed the old man about the details of what happened on his investigation.

Suddenly a blue colored aura gushed out with three faint gold marks floating above the old man's head frightening William and bringing him to his knees.

"So, someone has marked up by killing my guard? Atrocious!!" the old man coldly snorted.

"Send someone to replace the guard at the post and call the remaining village guards, in 10 minutes get all of them here!" Retracting his aura, the old man regained his calm and commanded William who was already sweating like a pig.

"Yes Head!" William didn't dare dally and hastily moved.

-Kana's Bakery-

A window popped up on Kana's mind about Mo's body status and tattoo skill. She read through all of them while her grin was becoming wider and wider.

She was not really interested on his body stats but her eyes betrayed her greed upon seeing the name and the first two skill effect of Mo's innate tattoo.

What she didn't know is that the sealed "Combo" function and the "Soul Eyes" is being protected by the special attribute that is why she was unable to see it. And because Mo is just a Gray branded warrior, she was unaware that Mo already have a system which indicates that he is a reincarnator.

Sensing the gaze, Mo looked up to Kana.

Kana calmly retracted her gaze and restore her gentle smile while facing Mo.

"Mo, I can see that you have an innate tattoo. Could you show it to me?" Kana gently asked.

Facing the red haired middle age woman's smile, Mo's instinct with NPCs on FDVR games kicked in. He controlled his nerves and calmly smiled back.

"I can't really use it, I don't know how." Mo calmy said.

"I see. It's a pity, I have never seen an innate tattoo being used. A lot are like you here in the village. They have innate tattoos but they can't use it." Kana said smiling but deep inside she was cursing on how she can't use her skill afraid of being sensed by the old village head.

"I'm sorry." Mo replied. "I'll be going now then! Thank you for the bread."

Seeing Mo going out of the store, Kana stared at his back until he was gone.

"Not now, we have planned everything for 5 years already. I can't let myself slip up." Kana muttered. "Your Devil's Rage will be my prize after conquering this village little boy."

Kana chuckled coldly and slowly entered the store.

-Village Head's Office-

"Head! We are here! Hah!" the guards exclaimed loudly in unison outside the office while standing in attention in a neatly arranged row.

The office door opened and the old village head appeared.

"I, Gordon Cross, the village head of Sea Breeze Village command you, 20 village guards to investigate and gather clues on the death of one of our brother, Randy. William will be the leader of this investigation and make sure to report to me when you identify the culprit. I will personally behead those that killed a brother of mine!" blue colored aura gushed out of the old man while declaring his command resolutely.

This is the highest command of the ruler of this village so the 20 guards are somewhat nervous but they did not make any sound because they know that the village head is really angry right now.

"Yes Head!" the guards responded loudly in unison. The guards then spread out and started investigating.

Gordon looked up at the vast sky while sighing. "Is the disaster coming already?"
