When XuanRong arrived at her own courtyard, she saw YuYing waiting for her.

When YuYing saw XuanRong she sighed in relief and immediately curtsied.
"This servant was anxious when w.a.n.gFei did not return. YuShen JieJie almost wants to go back and search for w.a.n.gFei. Thankfully, w.a.n.gFei is okay."
XuanRong's sighed and apologized.
"I went to the manor and visited Shu Er. Did all of you successfully escape?"
YuYing nodded and relayed what happened during their attempt to a.s.sa.s.sinate Long Hao Chen. When XuanRong sent the signal, they immediately left without looking back like what XuanRong ordered them. After YuYing left, XuanRong went inside the room and peeled off the black outer garment she wore, leaving her white inner garments.
When she walked towards the inner room, saw Xu Fei Yi sleeping soundly on her bed. She sat on the bed and raised her hand, wanting to touch his face. Looking at his peaceful and innocent face, guilt suddenly crept inside her heart. She promised not to leave him alone but when he had fallen asleep, she left afterwards.
XuanRong's fingers touched his hair and she slowly brushed it away from his cheeks. Her eyes could not help but roam around his face until it landed on his soft pink lips. Suddenly, XuanRong was reminded by that kiss. She was reminded by that person's lips and could not help but overlap it with Xu Fei Yi's.
*snap!*
XuanRong hurriedly withdraw her hand like she was burned.
'No… I must be insane.'
XuanRong could not help but get angry towards herself. Was her head gone bad? She even became delusional for a second, finding that man's shadow in Xu Fei Yi.
Sighing, XuanRong turned, wanting to stand up and leave but before she could even move, Xu Fei Yi stirred and subconsciously wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Wife JieJie?"
XuanRong stopped moving and stared at the young man who was rubbing his eyes. Her eyes softened and scooted towards him, reducing their distance.
"Sleep… It's still early…" XuanRong lovingly stroked Xu Fei Yi's head as she reclined on the headboard.
"Nghn… Wife JieJie…"
"Mmm?"
"…Wife JieJie will not abandon Yi'er, right? Yi'er and Wife JieJie will be together forever, right?"
Xu Fei Yi tightened his arms around her waist as if he was afraid that once he let go of her, she would disappear.
