Instantly, Jun Kai's eyes became blurry. Her words rang in his ears and mind. He tried fighting himself to not feel drowsy but there was such an intense overpowering power suppressing him. His grip around Mi Rong loosened. However, he still refused to accept it, "Mi Rong." His voice was almost unhearable, "Stop." He gathered all his strength to speak some more, "Please."
Mi Rong's hands that were waving some kind of spell behind Jun Kai halted with his last words. Unable to finish the entire spell, she felt a tremendous pain in her body and spat out blood. Nevertheless, this should be just enough for him to forget what had happened.
Jun Kai gradually closed his eyes and tears ran down his face as his body became heavier over Mi Rong. She was now carrying all his weight on her.

Mi Rong had no more strength left and had almost fainted onto the floor when a soft fluffy supported beneath her. She thought to herself how she would always feel secure with this big fluffy guy with her. Slowly she let Jun Kai go and he fell onto the ground.
There was no point to let you know the truth, goodbye Jun Kai.
"Xiao Bai, take me away from here." Mi Rong rested her weary body onto her supporter.
"Sigh. Mi Rong, you would risk yourself just so he doesn't remember?" Xiao Bai truly did not understand this girl.
Mi Rong chuckled, "What's the point of it anyways. It'll be more of a trouble if he knew. I don't know Xiao Bai, but I feel like, there's not much time left."
Xiao Bai understood Mi Rong's meaning. She would feel that time is running out, well, her intuition is d.a.m.n right. The next full moon will come soon and she'll have to face the enemy alone. Hence, Xiao Bai did not speak any longer. He had returned himself to his normal size that would be able to carry a man to support Mi Rong.
The white snowy wolf then lowered his body so Mi Rong could climb onto his back. He waited for her to rest upon his back before sprinting off into the woods.
Mi Rong had her eyes wearily closed the whole. While her body was resting upon Xiao Bais back, she had her questions still troubling her mind, "Xiao Bai, what are the secrets you have kept away from me, hm?" Mi Rong's voice muttered in Xiao Bai's fur. Although her body had given up all strength, her consciousness was still working fine. Weary but fine.
Meanwhile, Xiao Bai was slightly puzzled with Mi Rong's words that had come out of the blue.
Mi Rong did not stop and spoke some more, "Xiao Bai, that Li Ye called you Bao Bai and an old friend. Were you friends with him?" Mi Rong did not keep her questions in a spoke straightforwardly. What good would it bring if she kept everything inside her heart? It was better to talk it out than keeping it in.
Xiao Bai's confusion was finally unravelled. That guy must have used his slick words again. Such a snake! "What friend is that guy talking about!" Xiao Bai could not help but become worked up. With what that guy had done to his clan and his queen, hmph!
"Hm?" Mi Rong could make point of what her buddy was talking about.
"Look, rather than an old friend, more like an old foe. That guy was enemies with my queen!" Xiao Bai slightly growled while telling his feelings, "I wish I can tell you more, but I'm not allowed to. You'll have to find more about this mission yourself, for when the time comes, it would unlock itself to you."
This was also another confusion Mi Rong had in her mind, "Who's stopping you?"
Xiao Bai gritted before speaking vaguely, "The heavens!" Almost instantly, a crack of lightning roared in the night sky. Xiao Bai scoffed, "You see? They're listening to us even now."
However, Mi Rong did not take it too seriously, "That's funny Xiao Bai."
Nevertheless, Xiao Bai said no more. In time, she'll find out herself.
"Mi Rong, are you sure with the choice that you just made?" It was time for him to ask her his question.
"Hm? What choice?"
"Jun Kai."
"Oh." Mi Rong became silent for a while, "It's better this way else it would be too troublesome."
"Hmm." Xiao Baid did not speak any more.
"But how is he now?" Mi Rong refused to open her eyes and merely asked for Xiao Bai to tell her of the situation.
Xiao Bai turned his head around and spoke, "Lin Cheng has just arrived and would probably take Jun Kai to the hospital."
"Hm, then it's all good." Mi Rong took a deep sigh, "Take me to the hospital too." She added.
"As you wish."
"Thank you." Mi Rong said it genuinely and spoke no more.
Although Mi Rong was a strong person and one of the brightest amongst her people, Xiao Bai could not fell empathy towards her fate. Sometimes one would go through hard times and this could be counted as one of them. However, Xiao Bai made sure that he would always be by her side no matter what.
...
"Boss!" Lin Cheng's wimpy body came to his boss. He felt worried seeing his boss laying on the floor unconscious.
Lin Cheng tried pulling his boss up from the floor and then onto their feet. Although he was able to support his boss, he could not move, "Boss, it's time to leave, sir."
Jun Kai's drowsy eyes blinked once and twice, "Mi Rong, don't go."
"Huh? What did you say, sir?" Lin Cheng was not sure if he heard clearly.
However, Jun Kai was unresponsive and only muttered one name, "Mi Rong." "Mi Rong."
Lin Cheng leaned his ear closer to his boss to hear better and could only hear his boss call out Ms Mi Rong's name. Sigh, maybe that's where his boss wanted to go. Tut tut, his boss was this injured and still had time to think about another.
Lin Cheng took his phone and called for help. He comforted his boss, "Don't worry sir, I'll take you to the hospital!"
Then, all became black and Jun Kai's eyes finally closed.
