Walking up to grandma Feng's house, there was a line of bodyguards around the area. Well, at least she can rest a.s.sured.

Mi Rong walked inside the house and was surprised to see n.o.body inside. From afar, housekeeper Hai rushed to welcome Mi Rong.

"Miss Mi Rong, grandma Feng is behind the house today. She is having tea beside the pond. Please follow me." Housekeeper Hai respectfully notified the Feng family's guest.

Mi Rong couldn't help but shake her head. Housekeeper Hai was too respectful. She was just a guest. No matter how much she said about it, he wouldn't listen.

She then walked ahead of housekeeper Hai towards the backyard. The housekeeper gently smiled as he glanced at Mi Rong's back. Who would know if miss Mi Rong would stay as their guest for long, the next thing we'll find is that she'll become one of the Feng family member huhu. The old housekeeper's thoughts wandered until he didn't realize there was someone else behind him.

The person behind housekeeper Hai was slightly confused with the housekeeper's negligence and spoke, "Housekeeper Hai?"

The old man jumped. If it weren't for a hand supporting his back, he would have fallen back. He looked at the newcomer and was to tell them off when he saw who it was, "Ah? Young master Feng? You're already here?"

"Hm," Jun Kai then took his hands away when he saw the housekeeper was fine. "Where's grandmother?"

Housekeeper replied immediately, "Madam is in the backyard, sir."

"Alright," Jun Kai then walked off.

Lin Cheng has just parked the car and was about to follow his boss when a hand grabbed him, "Ah Cheng, come with me." He was then pulled by the housekeeper to his small house at the side.

"Wait, old man! Where are you taking me? I need to go to see my boss." LinCheng cried as he was taken away. Kun Li and Fu Li who had also arrived where about to stopped the old man when they heard his next words.

"Aiyoo, you lots, let your young master find some s.p.a.ce hm? Nothing will happen to him and miss Mi Rong ah, if you always get in between. So, come and help me clean the leaves for me.

The three finally understood the housekeeper's intentions. Such a calculative old man.

Lin Cheng was still reluctant and tried to get away, but this old man's grip like an octopus. The two brothers however disappeared into thin air. They weren't supposed to stay in the light for long and didn't want to be dragged either.

Mi Rong had reached the backyard and saw grandma Feng who sitting alone in the small floating pavilion just beside the pond. She seemed so small with the big pond as she sat there alone. Mi Rong couldn't help but think back how many rough times grandma Feng must have faced. Now, another unknown situation was also lurking around her house. Grandma Feng was wrapped in a thin cover of clothing that covered her shoulders. Mi Rong couldn't help but sigh.

As she walked closer, she took off her coat and covered grandma Feng's shoulder. Grandma Feng looked more like a ball of cotton.

The old lady looked back in surprise and when she saw the person who had just arrived, she smiled warmly.

"Oh, you're back already Mi Rong?" Grandma Feng asked with a slightly m.u.f.fled voice.

"Aiyoo, grandma Feng. Why did you come out in this cold weather, hm? And yes, Xia Yun has finished baking the traditional sweets a long time ago. I would go back later to check things out." Mi Rong couldn't help but complain about grandma Feng not taking care of her health.

On the other hand, grandma Feng casually chuckled. Well, the only person that would complain to her would be this young lady haha, "Come, sit with me."

"Hm," Mi Rong took a chair and placed it beside grandma Feng. There was a table with some hot tea in front of them, so Mi Rong poured some more tea into grandma Feng's teacup and then to hers.

The aroma of tea spread around the area and it seemed to have calmed down one's nerves. All the seriousness were put away for the time being.

The two ladies only sitting there while sipping their tea and watching the graceful view of nature. Mi Rong held her teacup in her hand to give her warmth as the wind blew past.

Soon, they heard the sounds of the gra.s.s rustling from a distance. Mi Rong did not look back, seemingly to not care of the new arrival.

Jun Kai watched the peaceful scene that was in front of him as he walked closer to the pavilion. Such an oddly calm picture it was.

He hadn't seen his grandmother this calm like before, not even when his wife was around grandma Feng. Where did all the aloofness of his grandmother go to when she was in front of Mi Rong? It truly wasn't like her.

Then, again, like this is also good.

A sense of grat.i.tude seemed to have pa.s.sed by Jun Kai's eyes before vanis.h.i.+ng into the depth of his dark night eyes.

His deep voice called out, "Grandmother."

Grandma Feng turned around to see her grandson, "Oh Jun Kai, you are also back? Why did it take you so long hm?"

Jun Kai brushed it off, "Just some matters to attend to." He then took a seat beside grandma Feng.

Mi Rong picked her teacup up for a sip. The steam had hidden the amus.e.m.e.nt in her eyes. Just some small matters indeed haha. However, did he think he could hide it from grandma Feng? Hehe, her Xuan group had already notified the situation and gave grandma Feng rea.s.surance that they would be protecting the Feng family's house.

With her being here nothing would happen.

"Why are you outside in this cold weather, grandmother?" Jun Kai asked grandma Feng with a slightly warmer tone in his voice towards his grandmother. However, his eyes were slightly blaming the person who acted like he was not in her eyes.

Mi Rong looked up from her teacup and glared at Jun Kai from the sides. Such a two-faced person.

Grandma Feng chuckled, "Why do you two ask the same words when you meet me? Making me feel all old again." She took a short paused and looked at each of her two beloved people, "Why? Why can't this grandmother get some rest, hm?"

The old lady protested to the younger generations beside her.

She continued, "And you two coming to me one by one, why not just come together in the future, so I don't have to be asked the same questions if both of you think this so much in common, hm?"

There some other meaning behind grandma Feng's words, but the two choose to not ponder into it. They didn't have reasons to come together anyways.

Jun Kai then realized that Mi Rong seemed to have just arrived as well. Well, such a coincidence.

However, there was no such thing as a coincidence…

Grandma Feng soon coughed slightly after she had spoken all she wanted, so Mi Rong gently poured some more tea for grandma Feng, "Grandma Feng, wash it down with some tea."

"Hm, thank you."

When the elder felt slightly better, she took a deep breath out, "Ah, now, Jun Kai tell me how it went. The Xuan group have already reported the situation to me. I have waited to hear what you have to say. How did the meeting with the Xuan leader go?"

Mi Rong acted like she didn't hear anything about her Xuan group and acted carefreely while sipping her tea and enjoying nature. She hoped this guy had some nice words to tell her, hmph.
