REBORN: Revenge 461 Revenge 462: As Long As She Is Happy

"Silly girl, of course. Besides, ever since the plane took off to here, I know that you've been planning real hard for this day. How can I ever ruin yours, then put mine first?"

Truthfully, Kyle has a plan of his own, but he would like to do it the next time he and Anna come back here again. For now, that specific place is the only place he wants to spend the last moment of the day with Anna.

Furthermore, the reason why he decided to let that place be the place they are going to visit is that it's going to be a beautiful place when it's dark. When he was still little, he remembers his mother telling him about beautiful that place is when it's dark.

Anna did not respond, she only showed her sweet smile to him. She never knew that Kyle could be like this. Every time that she spends her time with Kyle, she always finds new things about him. And she is grateful for that.

Not wasting any more of their time, Kyle hailed a taxi cab.

"We're going to ride a taxi?" Anna asked. She has no problem riding a taxi cab, but after they got off the plane, they already have their own personal ride whenever they want to go. She doesn't understand why Kyle would want to ride a taxi cab.

"I feel like it's going to feel an adventure if we do this. Besides, this way, we can help the money flow in the economy." Kyle replied with a grin on his face.

Grinning back at him, Anna said, "Oh my, how generous of you." 

They entered the taxi cab, then Anna told the driver where they are headed first. Throughout the whole ride, Kyle was staring at Anna's face while she is talking about how great the place they are headed to.

When Anna noticed that Kyle was staring at her the whole time, her face flushed, and Kyle only chuckled at her reaction.

"Don't laugh! It's embarra.s.sing if you keep staring at me like that!" She thought that she is already used to at the way Kyle stares at her. But for some reason, it's different this time. She's embarra.s.sed, and she can't describe why she feels that way.

"I can't help it. You sound enthusiastic. It's not like I can see that side of yours every day." Since he and Anna are busy with their own things at the moment, they can't find the right time to see each other.

Their schedule in each day don't align, and that sometimes frustrates Kyle because of all he wants to spend more time with Anna. Get to know her better.

Despite what he is feeling, he is enduring it because with the things that he doing lately, training under his father and making sure the others recognize that he is capable enough to run his family business in the future, all of that is to make Anna's father recognize him that he is worthy of Anna.

He still has not yet heard Arion Coleman say to him that he is the right man for Anna. Without Arion saying that Kyle felt that everything will be worthless if he doesn't have Arion's blessing.

"Well, once everything that we needed to do is finish. Then, we can spend time any day that we want." Anna said. She completely understands everything that has been going on lately, and Kyle is thankful that Anna is not like of the girls that he has seen so far

She is not like them who is very demanding, clingy, and has no patience. Everything about Anna is quite the opposite of those kinds of girls. But sometimes, he just wishes for Anna to be like that from time to time.

Anna never requests anything from him. When she does want something, she will work hard to get it. 

Kyle smiled, then he held Anna's hand.

The driver who has been silent the whole time can't help but be depressed on the inside. These two young love birds are acting too sweet to each other, and they are getting onto his nerves. He is a single man on his thirties, and yet these two are showing off.

He can't help but feel bitter that Anna and Kyle have a better love life than him. 'Young people these days are so unfair! Why did they even ride on this specific cab? I should have just ignored them.' The driver inwardly cried.

The moment Anna and Kyle arrived at their first destination, Anna immediately pulled Kyle inside the place.

They walked around, talked to each other, and did all sorts of things that made them smile. Everywhere they go, people are looking at their direction. Anna and Kyle's interaction with each other are making the people around them find it hard not to notice them.

They are so young and at the same time, they are in love. Some are envious of that.

After visiting a couple of places, Anna's stomach suddenly made a sound. Kyle heard that and he almost laughs. Anna was so embarra.s.sed that she covered her face with her small hands.

'I can't believe this! Stomach! Why didn't you just stay quiet?!' Anna inwardly said.

"Seems like you're hungry from all these visits that were doing." Kyle teasingly said to Anna. "So, do you have any idea where you want to eat today?" 

As far as Kyle knows, Anna is the type of person who would like to eat anything that is edible. He sometimes finds it weird that Anna doesn't have any specific taste, but that is just how Anna is, and he loves that about her.

He can take her to any restaurants and she will be happy. And lately, he too is practicing how to cook, so that one day Anna will eat what he cooks. The look on Anna's face when she finds his cooking delicious is something that he looks forwards to.

Hearing that, Anna's eyes sparkled. "I do! When I was browsing on the web, I saw this popular restaurant among the locals, and the reviews on it are great. Do you want to check that out?" Anna is not so sure if Kyle wants to go to a place where it's not exactly where rich elites like him would go, but there is no harm in asking him if he wants to go there or not.

"There is no need for you to ask me that. If you want to check the place out, then we should. Trying out new places might be good for me." Just like what he always says to himself, as long as Anna is happy, he will have no problems with it.

"Great! Then let's go. It's not that far from here, so we can walk our way there." Anna said, then she wrapped her hands around Kyle's arm.

Meanwhile, on Alfonso's side, he is currently having a face to face talk with Mike. He was so surprised when he saw Mike visits him in the hotel he is currently staying.

"What the heck is wrong with you? Don't you know how to call someone? Why can't you just let me know that you're coming here?" Alfonso grunted in displeasure.

"There is nothing wrong with me. I do know how to call someone. I forgot to call you that I'm coming because my mind was elsewhere." Mike answered all of Alfonso's series of questions.

Alfonso's lips twitched in annoyance at the way Mike answered him. As much as he wants to complain about Mike's annoying att.i.tude, he decided to calm himself down because he knows that if Mike came here abruptly, it means that something is currently going on.

"Spill it, Mike. Why are you here?" Alfonso asked.

Mike sat on the couch before answering Alfonso's question. "I'm here because of what Mary told me."

After the call between Mary and Alfonso, Mary immediately called Mike in the middle of that night. At first, Mike was so angry at Mary for calling at such hour, but after hearing everything that Mary said to him, he immediately set out all the way where Alfonso is currently at.

He wanted to have a face to face with Alfonso. Ther is something that he needed Alfonso to confirm.

Realizing what Mike is talking about, Alfonso became confused with what Mike is trying to point out in this conversation of theirs. "What about it? I'm sure that sharing the information about Johan suddenly appearing in front of me is a shock, but it's should not be enough to lure you here."

"Well, as you can see, it is enough to lure me all the way here." Mike sounded so angry to the point that Alfonso is shocked to him like this. Mike is an annoying man, but he never gets angry so easily.

For him to act like this, Johan's sudden appearance must be meant so deeply to him.
