The very next day.

"Hey Michael, a bird told me that you actually filed a lawsuit" Randy called Michael early in the morning when he received the news about what happened to Michael yesterday night.

[Are you a Marites or something?] Michael said from the other side of the call.

Confused by a name suddenly being brought up, Randy asked, "Who the heck is Marites?"

[Marites is someone who loves to gossip, especially early in the morning. There's a lot of them in Pearl Nation, just that I didn't know we actually have one so close]

"..."

Randy didn't have a comeback for that one as it was his first time learning that term even existed but listening to Michael laughing from the other side of the call, annoyed him even more.

"F*ck you, as*hole"

Randy cursed and Michael heard someone shus.h.i.+ng him almost immediately.

"Hey, no cursing bro" Michael was laughing a lot from his bedroom, he really likes teasing Randy as even the smallest things would annoy him.

"Enough of the jokes, I'm pretty sure you just didn't call me because of what happened to me yesterday, right?" Michael said, this time, the playfulness on his face had disappeared.

[You should really improve your network kid. I'm sure you haven't gotten the news yet, right?] Randy said, this time he was also serious.

"What kind of news is it?" Michael asked while making his way down towards his kitchen.

"[Blackskull is not planning to let this grudge between you go. They're going full force on you this time, so be careful when you're going out. Your neighborhood is War Angel's territory so they wouldn't do anything except keeping a close eye on you]" Randy said in a grave tone. Michael might act like a jerk sometimes, but he's still worried about him since he's still a great guy, and if it wasn't for his stubbornness that led them to leave their reclusive life, then they wouldn't even be here today. Thankful that it happened since he got to meet the love of his life, Olivia, because of this stubborn fool that wouldn't just leave them be back then.

'Though it is still a mystery how this brat managed to actually find us when we had already cleaned all of our tracks back then' Randy thought to himself.

"So they are determined to kill me this time?" Even with a threat to his life, Michael just laughed it off as he made himself a cup of coffee.

[This is no laughing matter you brat. This time you will be facing the entirety of Blackskull and they are no simple people. You of all people should know that. If you get lucky, then you might even meet some of our fellow colleagues] At the end of his words, Randy couldn't help but let out a chuckle as he thought of something.

"Fellow colleagues?" Michael wondered as he sipped a cup of his coffee, but then moments later, a thought struck him!

"Don't tell me..the Blood Lions? Are you talking about them? They have been lying pretty low lately since that event happened" Michael said while casually mentioning some history that happened between the two organizations in the past, which was pretty nasty since a lot of people died on that day.

"d.a.m.n, you heard about that too? Not many know that since a lot of influential people were involved, so it was covered up. The survivors, including me, had been mum about it. Just how did you know that? Are you living your second life or something?"

"[S-second life? Me? What are you, a need? Stop spouting some BS]"

When Randy mentioned "Second Life", Michael was so startled that he even sprayed the coffee he was drinking and he became a little nervous just at the mention of it.

"Yeah, you're right, or maybe you're actually Zero's legitimate son?"

"..."

"Ohh.. he hung up," Randy said after hearing the busy tone.

"Hey, what's that about that happened in the past?"

Lying on the bed beside him and covered under the blankets, it was clear just from their appearance that they had certainly been busy last night. While casually listening to the conversation between Michael and her boyfriend, she couldn't help but get her curiosity piqued when she overheard Michael mentioning the nasty history that happened between the two organizations.

"What are you talking about?" Randy asked as he snuggled her close to his body.

"Well, Michael mentioned something about the dark history between the Blood Lions and the Continental," Olivia asked, her face full of curiosity. She can't help it, it was just too good to pa.s.s on without hearing the full story.

Randy thought for a moment to rearrange his thoughts before saying, "Well, it was something that happened five years ago. Remember 7/11? That.."

Randy told her about the tragedy of July 7, 20XX, most famously known as 7/11. That day two huge forces were supposed to have a truce agreement after a long-standing conflict between the two families, and members of Blood Lions and Continental were hired as bodyguards of both of the two opposing forces.

Long story short, some people from the side of Blood Lions had gone crazy in an effort to stop it from happening. So they crashed a freaking plane on the building where the two families had gathered to talk to resolve their grudges and finally end it..

"Those people… are totally crazy, so what happened after that?" Olivia knew the significance of the 7/11 tragedy, but she didn't expect that there was actually a huge story behind it all!

"Well, as you already know. A lot of people died, especially civilians. But that is not all, there's a plot twist in this story, the building that the plane crashed through was actually just a decoy. The meeting actually happened in another place, but.."

"But what?"

Olivia grew impatient when Randy suddenly stopped talking just to tease her.

"Well, some important people from both sides died. They were at the wrong place at the wrong time. So instead of a truce, the conflict grew worse than before and as both organizations were already deeply involved in this conflict, they also joined the war.The Blood Lions were the ones who suffered the most losses since they were ones responsible for making it worse. Until now, this conflict is still ongoing even after many years have pa.s.sed by. It was a bloodbath I tell you" While being reminded about what happened in the past, his hands couldn't help but shake a little since that was the worst event that happened in the history of the underground world.

"Like what is happening in the country right now?" Olivia quickly noticed his hands slightly shaking and immediately held him to provide a little comfort.

"Yeah, it's them again. That's why I told Summer to not leave school until we pick them up, especially Cathy since she likes going out to have fun after school" Randy replied.

"So that's why you hired a couple of bodyguards to secretly protect them. I always wondered why you did that since you have been really mum about it" Olivia replied, feeling a little bit relieved inside.

"When do you think this will be over?"

"It might take a while hon since it seems like they're really determined to kill each other this time"
