The Gods' Decree 21 As Time Pass

After closing the journal Tafari took couple minutes to try to make sense of the information.

"Demons and Devils in our world? " He repeated in his head while trying to understand.

" What if such creatures were to run a mock in our city? Wouldn't that just be a complete genocide in the making?"

He suddenly was covered in sweat and all his limbs s.h.i.+vered with the mere thoughts of seeing such beings.

" Also the cultivation world is so cold, cruel and heartless, that a person can throw away all sense of love for power. I may not know 'Love' but seeing such couples like Old man Ming and Mrs Ming, It should be a powerful thing"

" To sacrice the ones you love in such a way that it seems ordinary in nature. Can such beings be described as humans?"

These thoughts all raced through his head as he thought of the pitiful Carlos and Fang.

" If I were to enter the path of cultivation, I need to use this story as a guide. I will never let myself be so blinded as those in the journal."

He had a big smile on his face before drifting off into dream land.

The next day arrived and Taf woke up with excitement. On this day he went to the one of the highest buildings to watch the rising of the sun.

" As you rise, so will I. From the dark to becoming the most brilliant scene that no one dears not look at you directly. You and I will be one in the same"

The look of determination s.h.i.+ned on his face as he made his resolve.

" Today l will learn all Old Man Ming's arts. Hehe... I can't wait to see what I Learn from him. How awesome was he last night?"

He remember the night before and awe started to display all over his face. In some ways Mr Ming had become his hero.

" Old Man Ming is definitely one of the strongest men around "

After the sun had set, there was Tafari and Old Man Ming facing each other.

" What I will teach you will be beneficial for life . You will be able to use some of these skills In your time of need"

Old Man Ming stated as he looked on the youth before him that had a curiosity plastered all on his face.

" When it comes to training, I will not be the usual Mr Ming that you know. I will teach you to be ruthless thus, I myself need to just that to you"

He stated with a firm tone that Tafari had not heard before.Although he was surprise by the words for a second, He understood the meaning. To reach a certain level, you have to work hard and push your limits.

Thus the training started on that evening under the tingling of the stars. For every mistake he was punished until he got it right.

With every hit Old man Ming held back slightly until he felt it was time to step up the difficulty.

The lesson continued on a daily basis. He was taught how to be stealthy when one need to be. Also the art of poisoning your target as frontal combat is not always necessary to accomplish the desired result.As well as multiply fightijng techniques that old man Ming had learnt.

Like this the days became months in the blink of an eyes.

In these months, little Sue finally had her wedding and got married to the scholor. That day was a joyous event that went on in the night.

Old Man Ming had tears in his eyes as he saw his little girl become a married woman. In his arms was Mrs Ming as she always was bawling her eyes out at seeing her little one now grown up.

Tafari also wished his best as little sue gave him a gentle hug. It would also not be little Sue if she did not give him a good scolding also.That was a moment up laughter as everyone smiled as they saw the girl acting as the big sis she always wanted to be.

Before anyone knew it the months then became years in the blink of a eyes.

On a high building there stood a youth with short brown dreads on his head as he looked on the city through his brown eyes. He had a slender build and hardly resembled the youth of the past.

This youth was Tafari, four years have now gone by and he is now 14.
