The teachers became more grateful to Eureka after seeing how she can easily coax the princess in finis.h.i.+ng her lessons . Their days were spent much more peaceful and easily .

"But I am already tired," Hikari blinked her eyes as she look at Eureka .

Her current lesson was dancing .

"Then princess, if you are able to finish this with high marks, how about a tea with this one? With tasty pastries to go with it, the garden has a beautiful scenery right now . "

Being a blodd related person to Kaoru, this has always been Eureka's last resort for Hikari to finish her lessons . Since her birthday was coming up, they were actually teaching her the proper ways .

Four might still be young, but this is first public birthday .

With tea and pastries thrown as a bargain, energy once again over flowed in Hikari's body .

Eureka could only bit her bottom lip as she stops herself from smiling at Hikari's cuteness .

The teacher was once again grateful to her, despite them saying this in the past, the princess would still not want to continue her lessons . But her aide was actually able to do so easily .

In the beginning, people were wary of her . Some were even treating her badly, the servants even but she never got back at them . She would still smile at them and greet them still . Her calm eyes somehow started enchanting them, together with her beauty .

At the same time, the girls couldn't bring themselves to be jealous of her for she slearly puts a line between her and the men who were trying to get her attention .

What's more, the princess were at her happiest whenever the two of them spend their time together .

"Sister, sister, you have to taste this . It was so delicious," Hikari looked up at the Eureka who was standing beside her .

Both of them were already at the garden, Hikari was enjoying her pastries in the gazebo while Eureka stood beside her .

"If it is then, the princess should finish it or others might take it away from you," EUreka replied .

The reson why the others couldn't truly get agitated towards her was the fact that despite the princess being too attached to her, she herself knows her own limitations and does not use it for her personal gain .

Her genuine actions towards the princess and the fact that she really only wants to stay with her, brought admiration to the others as well .

"Can I oerhaps join you right now?"

"Your highness," Eureka bowed down after seeing that it was Karen who approached them .

She had two guards one man and one woman . The man had sword while the woman have both sword and bow .

"At ease," Karen smiled back and sat down with Hikari .

"Elder sister, this pastries are truly delicious," Hikari smiled happily as she said to Karen .

"Oh, then let me taste," Karen said as she pick one and ate it .

She knew how much Hikari loves her pastries and despite her offering them, she really didn't want to share it . Her eating it was actually a way to tease her .

Hikari pouted but didn't complain, seeing the playful look in Karen's face Eureka bent down to whisper, "I told you princess to finish it or someone else might eat it . "

Karen covered her lips as she smiled, Eureka actually teased Hikari as well .

Hikari puffed her cheeks as she glare at the pastries . As if she was waiting for a hand to appear and she was ready to swat it away .

Even the two guards beside Karen was suppressing their smiles .

Karen then signalled a servant who was on standby to bring more .

They were limiting Hikari's intake of pastries but there are times where they would spoil her and give her more .

The atmosphere were peaceful as the five of them spent more time in the garden .

Eureka's movements were fast, she was instantly at the other side of the table, holding an arrow that was a foot away from Karen .

The two guards were first taken a back, if it were them they would have stopped it atleast a few inches away from Karen .

Even Karen herself could have barely dodged that arrow .

The two guards draw out their swords .

"Are you seriously using your swordsd?!?" Eureka said this as she pulled the bow from the female guard .

Her actions were fast, she used the arrow she had just stopped and pulled the string . Even the attacker who was just about to escape were shocked that his thigh were shot by the arrow that he had just shot .

He was then pinned on the trunk of the next tree from where he was, he was shot the moment he jumped .

But before Hikari could see this Eureka was already covering her eyes . The moment she released the arrow, she didn't even look if it would hit, she just turned and covered Hikari's eyes .

All of these happened in a mere minute, soon other guards were already coming taking the man in custody .

Rino soon came running after getting the news, "Are you okay? The baby?"

He checked Karen worriedly .

"I am completely fine, Eureka was able-"

They were stomped for words after looking at Eureka, even the two guards .

"SIster?" Hikari asked, Eureka was still covering her eyes and she can feel her hands turned cold as it trembled .

Eureka's look right now was filled with terror, it was pale and her eyes were unfocused .

All her movements were purely done by her body, even her words . By the time her mind registered everything, the events were already over .

Hikari pulled down her hand and looked up at her . Seeing her terrified look, she reached out and hugged her, despite her little hands not reaching her entire back .

"It's fine now . Everything is fine now," was her little voice .

She was even patting Eureka's back .

~"You see, there would be times where your elder sister would suddenly get very scared . I can't always be there for her and only the two of us could help her out . So when that time comes will you hug her and give her a pat, tell her that everything is fine . "~

Was what Raven told her on the day Eureka became her aide .

Eureka's eyes blinked after this, she can feel calmness flowing from where Hikari was patting her . Her trembling body slowly turned at ease .

She looked down at Hikari and smiled, "Are you alright princess?"

Hikari looked up and gave her a bright smile, "Of course, I am a strong girl after all . "

Eureka smiled before looking at Karen and she was momentarily shocked to see the Rino was there already as well . The intruder was already gone as well .

"It seems my mind flew somewhere, I apologize for not greeting his highness," Eureka respectfully said as she bowed down .

"At ease, I should be thanking you myself, your swift actions lessened the events of today," Rino replied as he pat her shoulder .

"I am grateful I could help . "

Karen was then escorted back and Eureka returned with Hikari to her room . There should still be lessons for her but due to what had happened, the whole castle was in tight security . They are currently checking every possible corner of the castle to make sure that no more intruders are present .

"Hikari!! Are you okay?" Akihiro and Haruka came an hour later .

"Yes, I am completely fine," Hikari smiled .

Haruka then stood up and gave Eureka a hug, "I've heard it was you who stopped the attack . "

That's what she said but they've heard about her terrified look so she was also worried about her .

Akihiro pat her shoulder, "Thank you . "

Eureka didn't know how to react to this, but she felt warmth from them . She could only nod towards their words .

"I must apologize, I can't understand how I did those as well so I really can't explain," she the explained .

"Don't worry about it . The good thing is that all of you are okay . You saved not just one life but two," Haruka replied with a warm smile .

"I've also heard, that the queen was on her first months of pregnancy, I hope this wouldn't affect the baby . "

"The way your body handled it was splendid, she was not even affected psychologically . Plus she is a very strong woman," Akihiro commented .

Raven also heard about the incident so he was very busy until late at night . Nothing came up to their search . It seems that that man was just a preliminary one .

He must be the sacrifice to check the security around the castle .

The question in their mind was, 'Are they planning an attack to the castle? Or the royal family?'

His brows were furrowed as it was just past midnight .
