Reo's words tensed up Nie like as he put up his own guard. Nie Li was suspicious, but he knew that if reo wanted to kill him he could have done so and he had only shown him his prowess so there was a reason to trust him. Thinking too much with no clues made him mad , but seeing reo set up the tent he to got up and helped him.

Reo and Nie Li rested for the night and got up early so they can find the others, they were both worried for their women.

They set out early and followed a path towards the others, on the way they found a stone monument with some writings one them. Nie Li found out that it was the holy empires language and translated it to reo. " Those who are compliant to me, will become distinguished. Those who go against me , will definitely be destroyed."

Those arrogant words were written on a plaque near the monument, while they both tried to walk away. Reo stopped at a particular place and stamped his feet hard on the ground, but before he could finish his stamp the ground collapsed and made him fall into it. Nie Li also jumped in trying to save reo, both of them used their swords to to hike down towards the ground.

Reo said " Well this place looks like a maze, and probably the treasure might be in here let's search for it while we find the exit." Nie Li saw reo trying to stamp the various parts of the ground as soon as they reached the site and it was like he had known that the maze was underneath the monument.

Reo obviously knew that their was hole here cause in the original plot Nie Li was supposed come down to this place together with Ye Ziyun. But made it sound like it was by complete chance that they discovered the underground maze.

Reo asked Nie Li to lead the way cause their might be traps and he was not so knowledgeable about them. Yes their was quite a few traps on their path and they were disabled slowly by Nie li.

As they treated towards the north, because Nie li found out this was the tomb of one the mysterious emperors in history Emperor Kong Ming, as he had read many books he knew they were superst.i.tious and must have placed the tomb in North facing South. This was also proven right when they went north the temperature around them also started rising slowly.

Reo wondered why their was a rise in temperature and he soon had a hunch and was in joy that he could also get something valuable in this trip.

After struggling for about 3 hours the duo finally exited the maze and reached the tomb of the Emperor Kong Ming. They saw lots of dead skeletons of people who were lying on the floor near the exit of the maze. They were probably refugees who had been sent in, but never got out as they starved and died in the tomb.

Saying the prayers to the dead Reo and Nie Li started collecting the treasures and items on the refugees, they found quite some things which were useful. Soon Nie Li and Reo approached the tomb and found out that their was a special sealing inscription on the tomb and a lingering soul force was still permeating within it. Nie Li sent in his soul force onto the tomb while enduring the heat waves coming from it, Reo also sent his soul force into the sealing inscription trying to scan it with the system. But suddenly the coffin flared up with soul energy as it flooded into both of their soul sea.

The sudden surge of energy was heavy and scorched their soul tempering it. After 5 minutes the soul energy stopped as Nie li undid the seal on the coffin. They opened the coffin and found out a page, a abstruse gemstone and a red glowing gem which was constantly giving off heat.

Both Reo and Nie Li were shocked seeing what they found, reo was happy because his hunch was right and the glowing red gem was the Evil G.o.d Fire Seed which was detected by the system.
