Chapter 3846 Insurmountable Complexity?
After Davis robbed Founder Zenflame in broad daylight, he happily took the pills away and delivered them to Myria, Tina, and Dalila.
They stared daggers at him.
He was stuffing them with more work while they were still researching how to concoct the unique pill made with the Divine Jade Cicada Fruit, Ruinbloom Cataclysmic Pear, and Duality Harmony-Anarchy Vine.
"Aha~ Sorry, my lovely beauties."
Davis' lips curled as he gave them three Gilded Realm Ascendant Pills of Minor Realms and told them to convert them into fifteen diluted pills. He looked at the fourth one but threw it back into his spatial ring after keeping it in a precious jade container, even though a thin layer made from some kind of profound tune retained its efficacy to the max.
"Are you going to use it on someone special?" Tina giggled as she asked.
Myria and Dalila also looked interested.
"Nope… I have some plans for this one but couldn't do anything at this point in time."
The three of their gazes flashed.
They could vaguely tell what he was going to do and felt it was dangerous, but it was good that he knew he couldn't do that now. They didn't say anything and went back to researching the pill concoction method.
"So…" Davis didn't leave, "How many days are left for you three to come up with a method?"
"Days?"
Myria turned to look at him, her eyes wide, "At the step we're at, I think around twenty five thousand years would be appropriate."
"…"
"Maybe twenty four thousand years…" Dalila wryly suggested.
"…"
Tina patted her lips before she raised her hand, "If we had a burst of insight at the current step, perhaps it could decrease the time by half."
"Alright, say no more."
Davis raised his hands in surrender, "I know never to ask again."
"Good~"
The three of them nodded together, making Davis inwardly cry.
Obviously, he brought his hopes up a lot more than they needed to be. These were Empyrean Grade Ingredients and the difficulty of mixing them was the highest they have ever encountered, even among Empyrean Grade Pills.
To try making a pill now with their little knowledge would be nothing more than folly. That was one of the reasons why he decided to give the Ruinbloom Cataclysmic Pear to Zenova Artoria, since she brought back his Evelynn in one piece. It took too much time to arrive at the right method with so much complexity involved.
On the other hand, the three of them quickly made short work of the Infinity Iris Orchid, the s.p.a.cetime Law Treasure that Zenova Artoria brought, and had them made into a pill for her to enjoy.
That alone said that their knowledge was at a high level enough to concoct Empyrean Grade Pills but still not enough to concoct a pill that mixed Chaos Laws, Destruction Laws, and Yin-Yang Laws. The difficulty was so high that it would have above Empyrean Grade Alchemists, if there were any, crying at the complexity of this pill.
He had the urge to tell them to work on it later, but they seemed solemn, completely devoting themselves to this process, as they also considered this an insurmountable challenge in their path that they had to clear to become a true alchemy master that surpa.s.sed the level of supreme geniuses.
Davis loved their pa.s.sion. If it were him, he would've given up and threw all three ingredients into his mouth, leaving it to fate.
He watched their work for some time, asking a bit more questions as he wanted to improve his knowledge as well. He couldn't be ignorant when he was taking a steep path to reach the apex. There was so much learning to do.
But eventually, he was kicked out as he asked too many questions and was being a nuisance rather than help.
Davis laughed and exited, heading to another location.
He went to the seventh floor of the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace and arrived before a wonderful garden. The garden was filled with exotic flowers and rare herbs, their vibrant colors and intoxicating scents filling the air around him. Davis felt a sense of peace wash over him as he wandered through the garden, taking in all the beauty and serenity it had to offer.
But that wasn't what he was here for.
In the central area, he found whom he was looking for.
There was a giant white fox with azure tails, sleeping peacefully under a cherry blossom tree. Its fur was as soft as silk, and its gentle breathing created a soothing melody in the tranquil garden. Davis approached the fox eagerly, knowing that she had noticed him coming.
Her tails rustled slightly as she opened her eyes, revealing a deep, knowing gaze that seemed to pierce through his soul. Davis felt a wave of calmness wash over him as he knelt down beside her and ruffled her fur with affection.
Everlight nuzzled his hand affectionately, looking sleepy again.
"Thank you for being here, Everlight. I'm sorry if you don't find this to your liking, but I need you to enrich the garden with your presence all day long if that's possible," Davis whispered softly,
Everlight closed her eyes in contentment, "Don't be sorry, master. I love this place since I get to sleep all day instead of looking after an entire power. I didn't know I loved gardening so much in addition to lazing around. If I had continued to be a Guardian of the Magical Beast Sanctuary all my life, I would've never known that I was naughty."
"Haha," Davis chuckled.
"Of course. You could be here all you want. The Nurturing Life Formation on this floor not only boosts the growth rate of the medicinal herbs and ingredients, but it is also the best environment for you to live in."
"Mhm~"
Everlight agreed.
She had nothing to do in this place other than gardening and radiating her undulations and bursts of life energy, which would automatically boost the growth rate of the flora around her manifold. She already loved Davis so much that she was willing to do anything for him, but she also couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment and purpose in her new role as the gardener of the Davis Family.
Her efforts would all end up improving the overall prowess of the family.
"It's just— if I am allowed to be selfish, I would love to see master more, even if it is just your avatar."
