Chapter 3997 Prison Complete?
Tia and Hailac brought out numerous strange resources, all at Empyrean Grade and, at the very least, Peak-Level Immortal Emperor Grade.
One of them was something brought by Evelynn from the Mystical Herb Mansion during the Candidacy.
It was called the Fickleweaver Karmic Lotus.
Each petal of it was a valuable treasure. He knew Tia took some after Evelynn gave it to her, but she used the rest to form the karmic defenses of the mini-realm.
As for the other treasures, they were all gained when he killed those forty Empyreans and Autarchs. They had no idea he would end them all and carried many treasures, after all.
Tia and Hailac made numerous hand signs, creating inscriptions upon inscriptions, superimposing them to create strange runes. Sometimes, they even weaved their hands together, seemingly possessing great coordination, which produced more strange runes.
Davis wondered if Tia had taught Hailac a lot about Karma Laws and various karmic techniques that they possibly should have no knowledge of. Otherwise, it was impossible to have such coordination.
He couldn't tell heads or tails of what they were doing, but he could certainly tell that their movements were synchronized, and the radiating energy stemming from it made the area more and more obscure, so much so that Davis couldn't feel the slightest spatial undulations coming from the mini-realm.
"Invisible Karmic Cloak~"
"Spatial Peering Obfuscation"
"Unseen Karmic Maze~"
They cast one technique after another.
Davis had been briefed, so he knew the Invisible Karmic Cloak obscured one's vision from being able to recognize it as a mini-realm and or even an opening, for that matter.
Spatial Peering Obfuscation was a stronger version of the Karmic Wave Veil that obstructs people from divining or pinpointing location, clouding in a layer of karmic disruption. Finally, the Unseen Karmic Maze completely separates the s.p.a.ce between the pathway and the opening into a maze so that even if they came across the pathway or knew where the opening was, they wouldn't be able to tell even if they spent a hundred thousand years walking around.
These techniques took almost twenty minutes to cast, and when Tia and Hailac were done, they went limp, seemingly having exhausted all their focus and energy.
Davis caught them both from behind, "You two did well. Take rest."
"Yes, big brother~"
Tia softly said as she reclined on him. She genuinely was so exhausted that she couldn't even tease him.
On the other hand, Hailac pursed her lips and lightly glanced at his face. She didn't say anything other than nod her head.
Davis gave them to Lea and had them rest in a cabin in his life ring.
He turned to look at Stella, "Let's do it."
Stella nodded solemnly.
It was the final act where they needed to deposit those Heaven's Warriors into the tiny mini-realm and configure the mini-realm to collapse if any foreign ent.i.ties were to touch the edge of the spatial node.
Davis didn't enter. His entry at this point would only cause cracks to appear within the karmic concealment Tia and Hailac setup. Instead, he gave Stella the life ring containing all those Heaven's Warriors.
Stella transported the life ring inside the mini-realm. It appeared near the very center, and she constricted them within layers of spatial mazes, disallowing anyone to leave. They have all already been restricted with chains and had their cultivations sealed. There was not a minute chance they could escape by themselves.
After that, she made numerous hand signs, circulating her energy in a way that drew runes within and released grayish-purple spatial energy. This wisp of spatial energy covered the spatial node and infused a certain spell, a condition that rejected any kind of touch that didn't belong to Stella and those she approved of.
Therefore, even if those prisoners managed to escape their bindings and tried to exit the tiny mini-realm, all they would be met with was a collapsing realm that would crush them under its crumbling density. They could forget about escaping unless someone at the next stage after Empyrean Stage helped them but such a being was not present in the Lower Realms or anywhere in the Third Layer of the True Immortal World due to the restrictions from the Void Dimension.
It didn't take much time to complete this process.
Stella brought her hands back and heaved a full breath.
"That's it. We've completely hidden them inside the mini realm. Even I can't sense it properly anymore…"
"…"
Davis couldn't help but nod. He stared at the opening, unable to see the distorted light of the spatial node anymore. He couldn't see or even sense a hint of mini-realm after Stella fully concealed it. He looked elsewhere and returned his gaze.
Now, even the small opening was nowhere to be seen. It was nothing but a wall covered in darkness energy.
"…"
Davis couldn't help but use the black-white stone to boost his senses. At this prowess, his soul sense's power was well over Level Eight Empyrean Stage.
Vaguely, he could see the opening, but he knew if he tried to reach out his hand, he would get caught in a maze, which was the Unseen Karmic Maze. He stopped using the black-white stone and sighed ever so lightly.
"This is enough. It's great."
Davis brightly smiled as he turned to look at Stella.
Just as he looked, Stella pounced on him and kissed him deeply. She snuck in her tongue at the get-go, looking as though she was trying to devour him.
"Wai- Stella, you-"
Davis didn't know what to say to this h.o.r.n.y tree. She tightly wrapped her arms around his neck and pushed him down, kissing as though devouring him.
He was tempted and seduced, and his self-imposed restrictions came cras.h.i.+ng down.
He threw her aside and mounted her, taking the initiative as he kissed and fondled her bosoms on the cold floor. Neither one bothered about the darkness energy trying to invade their systems as they had their defenses up.
"…"
Vereina watched them make out with horror. She initially thought Stella had gone rogue and attacked Davis, but it turns out they were shamelessly making out! Then, she saw Stella's hand going towards Davis's lower body as it snuck into his pants.
There was a big swelling over his pants, seeking to get out, and the next thing she knew, she ran away.
After some time, she came to a stop as she rested over a wall, her heart beating erratically.
'Really? How shameless can they be…? Couldn't they see I was right behind them…!?'
Her bosoms heaved despite the short distance she traversed. Without realizing it, she inhaled a lot of darkness energy, which made her feel quite intoxicated. She coughed and sat down, trying to get it out of her system. It was too powerful for her to refine, as it was with Davis's light energy, that she was able to remain safe here for so long.
"Child… come to me…"
"…"
Abruptly, her expression froze as she heard a few words echo in her mind.
It was cryptic and was a distant echo as though it came from ancient times, shaking her very soul. She didn't dare turn her head or look into the chasm, afraid that it would look back at her. She stood up and tried to walk right back to Davis, not caring if both were naked right now.
However, the more she walked, the more she found that she was heading in a different direction.
'Wait… I… I am not moving my body…'
Vereina's heart sank into the depths.
