I'm pretty stable with getting food, and thanks to(G.o.d I hate thanking him) Skippy, I got a few rabbits from some traps, and got some meat. So all in all, it's going okay.
Strangely enough, I've never gotten more than one fireball again until recently. Even when aiming at multiple targets, I just had to rapidly create one after another. Plus my "healing" helps splinters and scratches at best.
However on my profile, there's a submenu of spells, with 'FoxFire II' and 'Healing Light I'.
Both have a progress bar underneath that goes up as I use them more, probably raising my proficiency. So obviously because my FoxFire proficiency has gone up, I can now summon 2 FoxFire's.
This will probably be a trend with all skill-based things considering there's another submenu currently greyed out called 'Techniques'.
So on to the current goal at hand: Income.
The income tab tells me how much DP I'm making, and how to make more, and where it comes from. However, I started looking into what I can do there now that my DP has gone a bit higher. I started with 10, got 4 for the days I've spent here, and got 25 for killing the goblin and wolf invaders. 10 for goblin, but 5 per wolf. So I'm currently at 39.
Which might be enough to start getting mobs in here to defend the dungeon, but nothing worth getting is available for anything less than like 200. Maybe I'm a little picky in not wanting ugly things in here.
So obviously I am not making anywhere near enough.
Looking into the possible ways, turns out I had a lot more options than I thought. Sure I can absorb bodies, have intruders present, and kill intruders. The first and last give a burst, while the middle one just slowly developed DP over time.
So, since I have half a brain, I decided to capture a few bits of wildlife and stick them in here. Result: they are considered Intruders, and each rabbit is worth a DP per day their here. But the higher the risk, the more DP. So... the next step is to capture a wolf.
I set out from the Dungeon, and squish down the anxiety creeping in of what could happen while I'm gone.
In the spa.r.s.e woods, wildlife is abundant, and also fast to run away. Plants in this world are weird. Or I think they are compared to earth. I can't remember enough to be sure.
Brown wood with bark, and green leaves adorn most trees, but once in awhile there might be a tree with colored leaves, like one coming up in front of me. It's bark looks a burned-Black, and it's leaves are bright shades of red, orange and yellow, starting as yellow at the stem and extending until red.
Heat radiates off the tree, and my identification skill calls it a "Everburn Maple". The normal trees are identified as "Ever Maple's".

When I looked into why, the identification read 'an Evergreen Tree that absorbed Flame type magic particles in abundance and evolved'.
So that left me with some questions about why trees are suddenly Pokemon, but practicing FoxFire around this tree increases my proficiency faster, so I'm not complaining.
Anyways, the income tab had some other options that I'm mulling over, which surprised me. So I'm gonna get to those after we catch something worth a d.a.m.n in DP.
Then we gotta expand the Dungeon, cause the bigger it is, the more inventory, options, freedom, and income I'll have.
So I'm heading to a wolves den I found yesterday, built under a EverShade Maple. Should be fine... right?
