Theresa looked at her son, and went over to hug him, "I don't know what's gotten into you lately. All smiles anymore, your moods have improved tremendously, and now you've been going to the gym? Where did my Stephen go?" She chuckled.

"Well, since you mentioned it," he said, clearing his throat. It was now or never. "There is a larger reason behind it."

Theresa pulled back and looked at him somewhat expectantly. Her breathing hinged on his next words, waiting for him to say what she so long expected.
