It may have seemed to them that the war was easy, but this was the demons try to take over the human kingdom, it will never be as easy as such. Therefore Ned was alert for any scheme from the demon general.
As although he wasn't someone experienced in wars, he felt like the objective of the demons this time was not only to invade. It was just his hunch though, therefore he had kept it to himself.
'There are a lot of geniuses among the fighting force this time, it could be their purpose was to cripple the new generation of the humans, but that would be a long time plan, anyways I would do my best to get rid of the demons general as quickly as possible' He thought to himself and concluded as such, that he would get rid of the demon general by himself.
The war to invade wouldn't be easy as he had seen, at least not easy enough to let only rank three conclude it, and as if to prove him right, there were a new addition to the humans of almost 2000 people all wearing the same type of armor, staffs, daggers, and being lead by each guild master of his respective guild. They erected a tent and called a meeting with Amelia.
Soon the meeting was done and It turned out that those new additions will guard the wall while Amelia and her soldiers would head inside the forest to kill the demons general.
This time Amelia, wanted to change her strategy, and divide the magician unit, along the swordsmen unit and rogues.
There were 50 person from the other races, and 50 magicians including Lucy, the genius of her own guild, and 40 rogues, leaving 380 swordsmen.
The swordsmen were all rank 3 except Ned and the other rank 4 expert. As for the magicians unit, only Lucy was a rank 4 expert, while the rest were rank three. The rogues were all rank three, and the most exceptional among them was chosen by Amelia to help her.

Now Ned had control of 380 swordsmen, therefore he opted to divide them into four groups with him leading one, and Amelia leading the second and choosing some to lead the other two.
He would be leading the small group of 80, along with the other races 50 people. As he knew that if he didn't add them to his side n.o.body will. As for the magicians and the rogues they would be divided among all the groups.
Going with this suggestion to his general, she accepted as she was thinking the same as him, but when she heard him say he will include the races in his unit she gave him a look of despise and disdain, however she failed to see the look of disappointment in Ned's eyes due to him wearing his helmet.
If it wasn't for someone, he would be sure to show her the different standing between themselves. It was not that he was arrogant, but that she was overstepping her bounds time and time again and his patience was running thin.
Going back to his unit he divided them as he thought, and told the good news to Yulyas who was happy hearing as such.
Ned smelled something fishy, and knew that heading into the forest was dangerous, but he had to do it. For a moment the face of Lori and the old man appeared in his mind. But he shook it off and whispered to himself, "don't worry, I'll be sure to comeback".
But the tiger race, Yulyas had heard him, "who are you talking to?" as he didn't see anyone near them.
"To some people who have become important to me". Ned replied with a faint smile under his helmet.
Even though they were in a diffrent place. and the tiger race didn't ask again.
Shortly after the time had come, and they all headed inside the forest, and spread out.
Although it would be hard to locate the demon general like this. That is where the rogues part comes. They were people that focused on their speed, and according to their attribute were all people of the shadows rather than the light. And tracking was their specialty.
Ned's unit had the largest numbers, at 130 people. With his map on he was keeping track of the enemies outside and also within. And as such they were all prepared when they first met a couple demons running. They killed them easily, and due to their inability to talk with full sentences they weren't able to gleam much information from them and pa.s.sed on to the next group.
After a while and once they reached a vast enough place, he told his people to erect their tents, as this would be their temporary base. It would be unrealistic to lead a hundred people to fight, therefore they would divide themselves before heading to hunt, and would regroup in this temporary base after.
