While he waited in the meeting room.
Soon the demon came and bowed on one knee, but stayed silent waiting for the master to speak.
The demon that had come had a statue of a robust warrior, and was past 2m in height. He had the signature scar reaching from the middle of the mouth until the small pointy ears. And had dark red scales under his eyes, but they were not darker than the clan head.
"You already know why you were called Dil'gan. You are the best a.s.sa.s.sin we have. I need you to bring me the head of some people with the priority being the one who killed Tralgul." The clan head said without turning.
The demon named Dil'gan replied with a yes.
"The rest are the ones to kill your brother Ag'dror who was chosen to lead the war. Now go and don't shame our clan with a failure." The clan head added.
The demon got out from his kneeling position and went to prepare for the journey he will take. It was a long way to reach the human kingdom, possibly months.
While inside he was thinking of ways to torture his brothers killers. Even if his mission was to avenge Tralgul. He always hated that pretentious demon. He saw his brother more fit than him.
But either way he will kill them all for daring to kill his brother.
Due to the human wearing a helmet they didn't know his face. Even the name Ray was just heard by the few demon minions that were hidden among the humans.
But the same couldn't be said for the rest that he had to kill, he will use them to fish out This Ray human.

Months pa.s.sed easily with Ned doing as his master instructed him while enjoying the fights.
As far as duels go he was able to match his master in magic if she limited her strength to rank 7. But he would be hard pressed if she raised her strength to rank 8.
Still it was a progress.

He was after all nearing rank 7. Another thing he had noticed was how his healing magic, the light Of Aether, only works on injuries inflicted by beasts below the rank 8.
When he asked his master about it, she said that when you reach rank 8 your magic gain a unique quality that makes the attacks more deadlier.
He didn't fully understand but his master said that once he reaches rank 8 he would understand.
He had to master his healing magic in order to bypa.s.s that limitation.
Of course it made sense to him, as otherwise he would be undefeatable, by just healing his wounds while the battle Is still going on.
Along the months he visited Lori many times, and they often talked telepathically.
Many of his visits resulted in them having s.e.x together. After all they were teens and missed each other.
But some of those times were just spent hugging each other and reading books, or walking around the capital city. And surprisingly some of the times they were accompanied by Lucy who he considered his friend since the day they fought together.
He was suspicious of Lucy as even if he considered her his friend, he was able to see her feelings, and it said [Love] which raised flags in his head.
He had made his mind that he will confront her the next time they met, and if he found out that she is taking advantage of Lori's friends.h.i.+p to get close to him he would be very angry.
His master had changed his training schedule. The duel time was to be in the morning as soon as he wakes up. After which he would go fighting the beasts she sees fit. And then after cooking food for the both of them, he would go around the forest searching for the secrets of this forest.
And that was precisely what he was doing right now.
He was following some red dots on his map that he was unable to see visually. He guessed that either they were invisible by some magic, or they were underground. He was more inclined to the underground choice.
He didn't know if this chase was worth his time, but he hadn't made any headway at all along the months.
He was following the dots now for around half an hour, of course he was doing it stealthily.
Once it reached near a river he often saw animals drink from, they exited from a huge rock and then he knew that they were underground.
He saw them move a huge rock that was hiding a small cave.
What appeared was three humanoid shapes he was able to identifiy due to his past life in earth, as dwarfs.
He was able to see how strong they were due to how easily they moved that huge rock. Of course he could do it too but his strength was comparable to a rank 7 almost a rank 8.
Still hiding stealthily on a tree, he watched with interest how they brought out a sort of metal tube with some strange device at it's tip and released it in the river and then sounds came from the tube as if it was absorbing water.
He understood that they were resupplying water.
However even the humans had similar smaller tubes installed in each house to bring water from a large water reserve that was always refilled with magic.
Unless the dwarfs had no magic, he didn't understand why they were bringing water from a river.
Since was hidden well enough the dwarfs had no chance of seeing him.
But his master up in the sky saw otherwise as she used magic to push him from the tree.
