Five people all buck naked stood before Bai Xue. For the first time in her life, she felt disturbed about something. She backed away slowly, she disgusted and amazed by the daringness of these people.

But as these people stood before her, Bai Xue's presence became a glowing light. The five fell to their knees because of their reverence towards her.

While Bai Xue was feeling disturbed by their odd appearance, the other five were trembling. They could not believe that in front of them was the true Mother they had been waiting to call upon them.

From their toes to their scalp, they were having the s.h.i.+vers as they stood before her. When they were born, all of them swore that they would be by her side forever, but a war happened and to stop it they were cast aside.

As beings who had too much power, all of five of them were made to retreat to a realm created by them. They were strong with an infinite amount of lifespan. They feared nothing but once they grew apart from their Mother all of them trembled in fear.

Trap in never-ending darkness, alone without any form of the path that they could take. Filled with too much power, they stood above everyone below their Mother and the Emperor. However, what use is their power if their means disappear.

As if they were children who had been abandoned by their parents, the Deities, the strongest of all beasts before the G.o.ddess wept in the face of longing. They did not know what was happening outside, they wished to know but they couldn't for they were good children.

Millions of years past and no one called them, they received nothing from their mother and after eons of waiting, they felt it, the presence of their mother, their G.o.ddess once again rocked the universe.

It was vague but their strong and ardent desire to be called allowed them to wake up from their never-ending cycle of waiting. At the same time, they ripped the s.p.a.ce apart trying to get their mother's side as fast as possible, fronting a strong personality in order for others not to laugh at the longing of the Four Children who longed for the embrace of their parent.

Their reverence shoot to the sky and their tears escaped their eyes. Their reverence, their love, their longing were all something that could not be conceived by the words, so they howled for a long time until one of them finally mustered enough courage and ability to speak.

"Mother...we have finally found you! After all these years...we have finally met. You didn't abandon us, you didn't leave us!" They were wailing, Fae and Rith, the oldest of the Deities were wailing as they spoke at the same time.

Their emotions, all five of them were synchronized. Their emotion overflowed, they became emotional the Four Deities were trembling, they wished for their words to reach their mother, sadly, the one before them was not their mother and when Fae and Rith exchanged gazes with Bai Xue, the twins' heart shattered.

"Mother?"

Her aura, her qi, and her bloodline were all the same. But her eyes, it was not the same. As if they could not recognize them, it was not possible, right? It wasn't, right? Someone, please answer them for their breaths were held that they failed to inhale or exhale.

"Who are you?" Three words were enough to crush their spirits and send them all to oblivion dragging them to despair. Their tears stopped, only pure sadness that could not be relayed by simple tears could convey surfaced from their hearts.

After such a long time of waiting, and waiting and more waiting. When they finally found her, they received nothing other than a single question. Lixus' face twisted, his tears had disappeared from his face and his qi was beginning to run wild as his emotions took over him.

"Mother, it is I, Lixus...I bear your fur, the prettiest of them all. Do you not remember the words you said to me when I was young? You spoke of..." Desperate pleas in order to awaken what had been loss were uttered by a somewhat derange Lixus.

He smiled, but even his smile was broken. Bai Xue looked at them, she knew they were trying to reach out to her, but who? Which part of her? She was too far gone, unable to remember anything from the past she had let go.

But still, a single streak of tear escaped from her face, she knew not of her past, not one of these people, but she staggered as something tried to creep up from behind her. It was not the screaming voice, it was something that originated from the depths of her soul.

But in the end, when she was about to grasp what had been lost, it quickly disappeared when a wave of chaos swept the entire realm and her attention got caught by the burst of chaotic qi coming from the Red Lands.

Bai Xue's attention as stolen, her emotions took for the one who gave her these emotions surfaced once again. She took a step back from them, and opened her mouth, "I can't I have to somewhere to be. I am sorry."

She turned her back on them, that familiar figure, that familiar back. It was still fresh on their mind, they could forget it when she disappeared before them. Fae and Rith staggered, they were unable to keep the strength on their knees.

They wished to properly stand up and go after her, but as despair swallowed them, they failed to recognize what it is that they needed to do. When Bai Xue finally disappeared from their sight, only then did they stood up.

Their emotions chaotic and mind as well, they could feel the qi their mother spoke of and directed their anger at it rather than at Bai Xue.

Their anger rose, they could not get angry at Bai Xue so they poured it in the middle of the realm.

With what measly strength the five of the strongest beings in the universe could muster, all of them stood up once again. Their destination was the middle of the realm, where Bai Xue disappeared to.

Their search for their mother had yet to conclude.
