Qian Du was one of the most popular fas.h.i.+on magazines in the country.
The Chief Editor had a sharp eye, and a personality to match.
Of course, this meant that scores of people were dying to be featured in the magazine. To Best Actor Fu, getting a contract was a breeze.
Even though Fu Sichen had a big presence, he also had a small temper.
He was never late, never delayed shooting, and never acted spoiled. This led to his excellent reputation for professionalism in the industry. People clamored to have contracts with him.
But this time, the highly professional and polite Fu Sichen brought along a cat.
The snow white Persian cat wore a black cat suit with the words "Big Handsome Hunk" embroidered on the back. He nestled lazily in Best Actor Fu's arms.
This was also the first time that the Persian cat was so agreeable when it came to being carried. The truth was that the cat was sleepy, so he didn't have any energy to cause a scene.
"Best Actor Fu, this cat…" The staff at the publis.h.i.+ng company glanced at the cat with a troubled expression, "He's very cute and all, but…"
His boss had pet fis.h.!.+
Recently, the fish had been looking ill. This made Chief Editor Zhang worried sick. If something happened to the fish, Chief Editor Zhang would definitely go crazy.
"It's okay." Fu Sichen insisted, "Even though my cat likes to eat fish, he doesn't like to eat sas.h.i.+mi."
The staff didn't know what to think.
What kind of logic was this? How could a cat differentiate between cooked and raw fish? He might as well say that his cat was afraid of rats!
If Fu Sichen had known what the staff was thinking, then he would definitely give him a prize.
Congratulations for guessing correctly. My cat really is afraid of rats.
Fu Sichen placed the cat down on the sofa with great care. He ignored all of the strange stares, and covered the cat with a blanket.
w.a.n.g Youquan rolled his eyes at the sight.
Fu Sichen was crazy!
He treated the cat like a human… No… Not even a human would get this kind of treatment from Fu Sichen!
"The shoot will be over soon." Before leaving to get ready for the shoot, Fu Sichen whispered quietly to the cat, "Behave yourself, and I'll take you to eat breakfast soon."
Then, with his hand sliding down from the Persian cat's neck to his underbelly, he added, "Don't touch the fish… otherwise, it's one t.e.s.t.i.c.l.e per fish."
Pei Zhen the cat had been pretending to be asleep.
But when he heard that, his whole body stiffened up. He opened his eyes wide and stared at Fu Sichen in horror.
This b*stard…
Pei Zhen would never let go of any opportunity to get Fu Sichen into trouble.
Even if he didn't like eating raw fish, he could still manage to wreak havoc.
But now, Fu Sichen was threatening him with castration. Pei Zhen was definitely not going to put his manhood at risk just for a prank.
d.a.m.n it!
He gave Fu Sichen a long and nasty look before raising his paws with his claws extended. He turned around angrily with his back facing Fu Sichen. His fur was all puffed up, and every cell in his body screamed, "Go away!"
Fu Sichen smiled briefly before straightening up to walk towards the staff. "Let's start. I have to catch a flight at 11 am."
"Sure, sure. Best Actor Fu, let's do your makeup."
The studio was busy because of all the people walking around and talking. Even though he was tired, Pei Zhen couldn't fall back to sleep anymore.
Not to mention, Pei Zhen heard someone moan somewhere in the background.
"This feels awful."
"I can hardly breathe."
"Oh oh, who am I? Where am I?"
It was a small voice and could barely be heard.
It also probably didn't come from a human.
If it wasn't human… then was it a ghost?
Pei Zhen ended up scaring himself, so he quickly tried to calm down. He looked around before coming to the conclusion that the noise was coming from the fish tank.
He stopped pretending that he was asleep.
Pei Zhen jumped down from the sofa and ran towards the fish tank.
