Huang Mingsi dried Huang Xur's tears away with the warmth of his fingers as he tried to calm himself down to avoid strangling the pretentious woman in front of him.
When he left for an overseas business trip, he found out that his sister wasn't romantically involved with Liu Zhang Wei and the two of them haven't met at all. Meaning, the woman in front of him was no way in h.e.l.l his niece and the grave they showed him was fake.
At first, he refused to believe the truth. However, when the detective he hired showed him a handful of evidence, he was finally convinced. He almost got the woman in front of him killed. But the detective advised him not to do so.
According to the detective, the impostor probably knew who his real niece was. Unfortunately, his real niece had no idea of his existence because Skyla had suffered from retrograde amnesia. The detective and he had yet to determine what really happened. But for now, the next best course of action was to keep his enemies close and keep an eye on their every move. So, they wanted to make a fool out of him? Too bad, they were already exposed!
"Are you really going to help me, uncle?" Huang Xur's voice pulled Huang Mingsi's consciousness back to the current situation.
"Of course! Just leave it to me, princess." The old man said with a big smile.
"Thanks, uncle! You are the best... Anyway, you better rest now, let's talk again later."
"I thought you missed your uncle? Why don't we have breakfast together?"
"I would love to uncle, but I have to meet my new a.s.sistant. Don't worry, we'll eat lunch together!"
"Oh, a new a.s.sistant again? What happened to the previous one?"
"She was incompetent so I fired her."
"I see... If that new a.s.sistant is still incompetent, just let me know and I will find you a new one. Anyway, I take some rest first." Huang Mingsi said as he felt jet lag crept into his system.
"Sure, uncle. I'll see you later." Huang Xur said as she ushered Huang Mingsi to the grand staircase.
Soon after the business magnate reached the upper floor, Huang Xur unmasked herself as she looked up with a smirk on her face.
"Find me an a.s.sistant? Who are you kidding, fool? Don't you know how stupid you are?" Huang Xur murmured to herself as she moved towards the garden, unaware that the person she was looking down on was already a step ahead of them.

w.a.n.g Reiji sighed deeply as she went inside the car. Rentao who waited patiently for her was contemplating whether to ask her what happened. Noticing that w.a.n.g Reiji's mood was sulky, he decided to keep his mouth shut and focus on driving instead.
Based on his boss' facial expression, things didn't go well. Also, w.a.n.g Reiji wasn't carrying any box when she returned.
Just as when Rentao was about to arrive at a conclusion, w.a.n.g Reiji spoke all of a sudden.
"Find another couturier to accommodate me. I need results after lunch."
"Yes, boss!" Rentao answered without taking his eyes off the road.
"Also, I want you to blacklist Lady Tong. I don't want her to set foot in any of my properties starting today." w.a.n.g Reiji said as she cast her gaze outside the car window, determined to straighten up the aged woman's crooked logic.
"Uhmmm... Pardon my intrusion boss. What should we do now that you exposed yourself to Lady Tong?" Rentao asked as he took a quick glance at his boss from the rearview mirror.
"Nothing. We will do nothing about it since no one would believe her anyway." w.a.n.g Reiji brimmed with confidence when she answered Rentao.
But where did this confidence come from? Well, knowing Lady Tong's reputation, every person in the elite circle already knew about her not so nice att.i.tude. So, who would take her side anyway? Also,
