Soon after they reached Paragon Tower, w.a.n.g Reiji went straight inside her office and slammed herself down her swivel chair.
Fixing her eyes on the mountain of papers waiting for her on the desk, w.a.n.g Reiji let out a loud sigh.
She never dreamed of having her own company, moreover became a CEO. At a young age, she already witnessed how stressful it was to run a big company. Her biological father, Xing Peter, the CEO of Xing Airlines was rarely home as he spent most of his time on overseas business trips. And as for her mother Skyla, she was in and out of the hospital due to her unstable mental state. That was why she became close to Yuvin's family, especially with his mother because they were the only people whom she spent her younger days with back then.
Reminiscing about her past, w.a.n.g Reiji started to think about how unfortunate her life was before compared to her life now. Unlike her father and mother, she was blessed to be surrounded by gentle and capable people, her second family. More importantly, she was living for her daughter, Europa.
Just as when she was starting to get emotional, she heard a soft knock coming from the door of her office.
"Excuse me, boss. You have received a letter from DigiverseLab, the creator of the online game, reign of violence." The voice owner was none other than Rentao, w.a.n.g Reiji's a.s.sistant.
"Ohh, isn't that the game Yuvin and Rong play?" w.a.n.g Reiji asked herself before she told Rentao to come in.
As soon as the a.s.sistant got his permission to get in, he placed the letter as well as the package containing the merchandise of the said game on top of w.a.n.g Reiji's desk.
"The contents of the package already underwent careful scanning and checking by the security. Contents are a legit game company merchandise." Rentao explained as w.a.n.g Reiji stood up and moved closer to the package. Rentao was about to open the box but w.a.n.g Reiji gestured him to stop.
"It is okay, you may go now and please don't forget to find a new couturier. Shooting will start the day after tomorrow."
"Yes, boss. I am just waiting for the confirmation from Madame Chiqui of PalaceLadies."
"Good, just update me later."
"Yes, CEO w.a.n.g." Rentao lowered his head down before he went back to his area.
As soon as her a.s.sistant left, w.a.n.g Reiji pulled a 65mm lightweight tactical knife out her pants pocket and opened the package to see the contents for herself.
The box contained different items such as t-s.h.i.+rts, led key chains, vinyl figures, and metal badges and some items that w.a.n.g Reiji wasn't familiar with.
"Hmmm... Are they really for me? But I don't play the game. Maybe they were ordered by Yuvin?" w.a.n.g Reiji was confused about why the company sent her the package. She then remembered that the package came with a letter.
Instantly, her gaze landed on the letter. She then picked it up to read the message.
"Interesting. Yuvin and Rong will definitely like this." Smiling widely, w.a.n.g Reiji took a photo of the letter and sent it to her brother with a caption, 'The game you guys are playing is planning to hold a convention in our hotel, 8 weeks from now.' After she sent a photo of the letter, she sent Yuvin a snapshot of the package as well.
In less than a minute, w.a.n.g Reiji received a call from w.a.n.g Yuvin.
"Sis! Please, I beg you! Give me the items!" w.a.n.g Yuvin's tone of voice had some desperation in it.
"Hahaha! What's with the overreaction? Of course, they are all yours to keep."
"Whoa! Thanks, Sis! You're the best." w.a.n.g Yuvin sounded like a child when he was excited.
"Since you are a fan and you know the game better than I am, I will put you in charge of DigiverseLab account."
"Sure! Leave it to me, sis. I will truly make sure to leave a good impression on them." w.a.n.g Yuvin replied confidently.
"Alright! This is settled then. I need to hang up now. I still got tons of things to do. Please kiss my baby for me."
"Your daughter is still sleeping, I will probably wake her up a little later for our sparring session."
"What a bully. Why don't you spar with me instead? It's been a while since I had used these fists." w.a.n.g Reiji then clenched her left fist and blew its top as if getting rid of an invisible layer of dust.

"No need to mention it. I think you better start working now so you can get home early."
"Yeah, right. See you guys later!" w.a.n.g Reiji then ended the call and called in Rentao.
Rentao immediately entered her office and approached her.
"What is it, boss?"
"Please have this package delivered to the villa. I bet Yuvin is now overly excited to get his hands on the items."
"Right away, boss." Rentao then moved to pick the package up and went outside the office.
Soon after the door of her office closed, w.a.n.g Reiji started reading the pile stock of paper in front of her. Most of the papers were requests for a budget and office supplies. While some were letters from the hotel's partners.
After almost an hour of reading, w.a.n.g Reiji felt sleepy. Though she wanted to take a short nap, she fought the urge and continued to read. However, no matter how hard she tried to resist sleep, her body acted on its own and betrayed her.
As sleep won against her resistance, she started to dream of her past, back to the days when she was still the carefree heiress of Xing airlines and the naive Xing Yin who fell head over heels for Zhang Chenric.
