w.a.n.g Reiji smiled as she held on to Qin Sho's right arm.

"Let's go, Rei."

They were already inside the mansion and was half way through the hallway when w.a.n.g Reiji noticed Qin Sho's confused face. She stared at the man beside her and asked.

"Is there a problem Sho? "

"Huh? It's nothing important. I'm just looking for my younger brother." Qin Sho answered with a smile.

'Yes, I am looking for my brother so I can knock some sense unto him. Just wait and see my a.s.s! We are already halfway inside the mansion but there's still no line formation. What's worse is that the boys are all over the place looking totally clueless!'

Qin Sho was about to explode from anger when he saw Qin Rong walking towards them.

Qin Rong was smiling at them. He even waved at w.a.n.g Reiji and politely greeted her.

"Greetings, Sister Reiji! Welcome to the Qin Mansion. Father's already inside the pavillion, he's very excited to see you."

"I'm also excited to see Uncle Luo. The last time we saw each other was at Dad's burial two years ago."

w.a.n.g Reiji's voice was then followed by an awkward silence.

Realizing she was the cause of the uneasiness, w.a.n.g Reiji opened up her mouth to speak.

"Let's hurry up, I'm starving. I haven't had lunch today."

"Why didn't you tell me earlier? Let's hurry up so you can fill that empty tummy of yours. "

Qin Sho said in a worried tone.

w.a.n.g Reiji and Qin Sho dashed their way to the pavillion while Qin Rong followed closely behind them. Before Qin Sho entered the pav, he gave his brother a death stare. Qin Rong rolled his eyes seemingly unaffected.

Upon entering the pavillion, w.a.n.g Reiji's eyes automatically searched for Chairman Qin. After few moments of looking around the pav, she found what she was looking for. She walked towards the Chairman. But as she got closer to him, her face turned sour upon seeing the people surrounding the Chairman.

'What are these old men doing here?! What's the meaning of this?'

w.a.n.g Reiji tried to conceal her shocked expression and suppress her killing intent. Thankfully, she managed to remain calm and avoided an unnecessary bloodbath.

Chairman Qin noticed w.a.n.g Reiji's presence. He immediately walked towards her and embraced her.

"Oh dear! You really look like the younger version of Skyla." Chairman Qin said with a wide smile on his face.

" Do I really look like my mom Uncle Luo? My memories of her face were kinda vague. I also don't have photos of her. They were all destroyed by fire five years ago. So, I'm not sure if I really look like her younger version." w.a.n.g Reiji was not able to hide the sadness in her eyes.

"Yes child, you are the spitting image of your mother especially now that you changed your hair color to auburn. " Chairman Qin said as his wrinkly hands squeezed w.a.n.g Reiji's.

w.a.n.g Reiji let out a genuine smile. However, her smile instantly faded when she saw the three old men again.

"Uncle Luo, forgive my rudeness. But, why are they here? " w.a.n.g Reiji asked without hesitation.

"They are my business partners that's why. " Chairman Qin answered calmly.

w.a.n.g Reiji was dumbfounded.

'Business partners? Did Uncle Luo hit his head or something? Did he forget that these guys are notorious crime lords? Or Could these guys already retired just like me?'

Before w.a.n.g Reiji can open her mouth to voice out her reaction one of the old men spoke.

It was William Chong the founder of one of the most powerful criminal organizations in the West Continent, Syndicate. His family is involved with hijacking temple artifacts and money laundering.

"Well, well, who do we have here? Aren't you the boss of the w.a.n.g family?" William Chong said while giving w.a.n.g Reiji a smug look.

"You're right about that Crime Lord Chong, but I preferred to be called CEO w.a.n.g now. " w.a.n.g Reiji retorted, emphasizing the words Crime Lord.

William Chong chuckled when he noticed how w.a.n.g Reiji emphasized the words Crime Lord.

"You're wrong about that CEO w.a.n.g. I'm no longer a crime lord. Just like you, I also preferred to be called CEO Chong eversince I retired from the underground business."

w.a.n.g Reiji was astonished. She couldn't believe that William Chong who had been a gang leader all throughout his life would leave the world he grew up in.

Chairman Qin now understood why w.a.n.g Reiji suddenly turned hostile towards the old men. Silly him, of course these guys were famous crime lords and founders of powerful organizations. However that was long time ago. These old men had already retired and were crime lords no more.
