The sudden shock w.a.n.g Yuvin felt turned into a strong feeling of discomfort as soon as panic struck his chest.

Did something bad happen to his sister? Even though she trained herself in various martial arts, she was still a woman. A woman who can be at times inferior to a man's physical strength.

Though forlorn, w.a.n.g Yuvin still managed to connect to the tracker of his sister's phone.

"Apologies. I might have startled you when I answered your call. In case you are wondering, your sister seemed to have dropped her phone when we b.u.mped into each other earlier." Bothered by the other end's silence, Zhang Chenric decided to speak.

"Are you sure? Why didn't you return her phone right away? Who are you and why was my sister at your place? Where is she now?" w.a.n.g Yuvin bombarded the man with questions as he tried to mask the uneasiness in his mind.

"Don't worry, I am not a bad person. In fact, I am in the process of returning your sister's phone to her." Zhang Chenric slightly paused before continuing to speak.

"She just left from Royal Regent some minutes ago. She's probably on her way home now." Zhang Chenric said giving w.a.n.g Yuvin a.s.surance.

"Why should I not worry when you didn't even bother to introduce yourself?" w.a.n.g Yuvin continued to ask as he was only a few steps away from locating his sister's phone.

"See you soon, bro." Zhang Chenric said before he ended the call and s.h.i.+fted his eyes on the road leaving a dumbfounded w.a.n.g Yuvin hanging on the other line.

"Did he just call me, bro?" w.a.n.g Yuvin batted his eyes in disbelief. Who was that person just now? He didn't sound like an ordinary person at all. w.a.n.g Yuvin noticed that when the man spoke, his words conveyed a strong sense of authority.

"Too bad, I wasn't able to get his exact location. Maybe I should ask for Hanzo's help." w.a.n.g Yuvin said to himself as he immediately dialed Hanzo's number. But unfortunately, the person he was trying to connect to was already sleeping like a pig on the floor of Gianna's living room.

Despite the loud music and drinkers' noise around her, w.a.n.g Reiji remained silent as she stared at the empty bottle of Vodka while hoping to find the comfort she needed to calm her heart down.

'Five years had pa.s.sed by, five long years, yet you still had the same effect on me? Why? Why can't I lock you out of my heart and mind?' w.a.n.g Reiji mulled over, but instead of finding answers, she got a string of what-ifs.

What if he was also innocent?

What if, like me, he was also a victim?

What if he didn't know that I was imprisoned?

What if he it wasn't his intention to fake his father's death?

What if he has a valid reason why he stood me up that day?

What if he didn't stop loving me?

w.a.n.g Reiji suddenly felt like throwing up when the last what if crossed her hazy mind.

"Screw you, Zhang Chenric! Didn't you tell me you love me? But that was all a lie, wasn't it? Once you had tasted me a few times you then threw me out like I was dirt! You told me you will protect me but why were there cops instead of you that day? Why? Why did you betray me?" w.a.n.g Reiji's remaining thread of consciousness ragged before it completely snapped from her too much alcohol intake.

"Hey, looks like that woman had fainted from drinking too much vodka." Said a man wearing a pair of jeans and a body-hugging white tee.

"What are we waiting for? As gentlemen we must escort that poor woman home!" The man's friend replied while staring at w.a.n.g Reiji with eyes full of s.e.xual desire. It seemed like these two men had already laid their eyes on w.a.n.g Reiji for some time now.

Without thinking twice, the two men headed toward w.a.n.g Reiji who was resting her head on the table.

As soon as the two men reached her, the second guy tapped her shoulder and said,

"Hey, miss. You can't get a comfortable sleep on that table, you know? Let me take you home with me. I have a soft bed waiting for you."

Getting no response from their prey, the two men a.s.sumed that w.a.n.g Reiji had really pa.s.sed out.

"Confirmed, this girl is totally drunk. Let's bring her home with us before somebody else does." Soon after the first guy finished his last syllable, the second man brushed w.a.n.g Reiji's hair away from her face, revealing her beauty.

"Oh boy! Looks like we hit the jackpot tonight! This woman's a total beauty." The second guy exclaimed.

"Whoa! She's a beauty alright. But I prefer girls with huge knockers." The first man said as he raised his hands in the air like he was ma.s.saging something in his imagination.

"Let me find it out for you then!" Burning with l.u.s.t, the second man reached out for w.a.n.g Reiji's chest.

'KRAK!'

"Aghhhhhh!" The second man screamed at the top of his lungs the moment he felt a sharp pain seared through his wrist. He then dropped down the floor while rubbing his injury.

"What happened?!" The first man asked, his face full of worry when he heard his friend screamed in agony.

"It was that b.i.t.c.h! That b.i.t.c.h broke my wrist!" The second man cried, ignoring the onlookers who were now staring at them with eyes full of disgust.
