Hah, gossips shouldn't be trusted." Xi Sheng acted like she was experiencing an enlightenment and it was flawlessly accepted by the other person. 

Her award winning acting was triggered in order to lower the other person's guard, loosen their vigilance and make them closer and feel more comfortable.

Heiress Yang let out an amusing smile, "You...probably has a sweet tooth, your sweet talk is really something."

"Well, someone sweeter than any pastries is in front of me. Don't blame my tooth, blame yourself okay?"

Xi Sheng acted like a sore-dumb in front of her, spout some bulls.h.i.+ts to hug her thigh and sometimes make an advance towards her. Her efforts successfully paid off, Heiress Yang accepted her advances and sometimes return it in a sophisticated manner. 

"Let's forgo these formalities, shall we? My given name is Yang Luo, Mr. Xi can call me simply Luo."

Xi Sheng stared at her beautiful smile and quite interested at the glint that showed in Yang Luo's eyes," The term Mr. Xi is unpleasant, it makes me older so please just call me Ansheng."

Xi Sheng pondered for a while and her face revealed a warm and playful smile.

If 008, who was familiar with Xi Sheng saw her reveal this kind of smile, even him would look at her disgustingly and his hands would unconsciously feel itchier than the usual. 

Usually, when Xi Sheng smiled like this, someone would get majorly screwed to the point of no return to the right path.

Xi Sheng cut the harmonious scene with one sentence that made Yang Luo's face pale.

"No, it was our employee's bad luck to fall in such a state, there's no need to feel sorry."

"I heard that employee is a seed of CEO Yang, am I right?" Xi Sheng ruthlessly add a comment that put Yang Luo's face into despair.

She didn't reply back but the hatred in her eyes cannot be ignored.

"Mr. Xi shouldn't pry into someone's family drama or else..." Those threatening eyes were used to gaze at Xi Sheng's face but this gaze was nothing and didn't scare her one bit. The thing that made her amuse is the sudden switch of personality of this pretty-faced persona. 

She really can't get tired of those reactions when their masks suddenly falls off.

"Yang Luo or Luoluo? Let's cut to the chase shall we?" Xi Sheng removes one of her masks and showed Yang Luo her playful side. 

The once angelic Yang Luo is now baring her fangs at a possible enemy. 

"Yang Ruo, is it? He's the b.a.s.t.a.r.d son of CEO Yang from his mistress. His birth is lowly making the shareholders doubt his ability. Xi Sheng was currently feeling joy in adding salt to Yang Luo's wounds. Yang Luo's face was red like a volcano ready to erupt.

She stand up and look down at Xi Sheng's arrogant posture and demeanour, "If Mr. Xi is here to mock me, then I might as well leave."

"You really became distant. Looks like teasing you is not good. Well, good impressions should be cultivated and not just by one meeting." 

Xi Sheng shrugged her shoulders and extended her arm to pull Yang Luo, she moved fast and swift until Yang Luo's body is lying in the couch and Xi Sheng at her top. The sudden changed in position caused her to feel dizzy but the beautiful face of Xi Sheng caused her to be more dazzled. 

Xi Sheng look down at the person below her body and revealed a s.e.xy smile. Her right hand cornering Yang Luo's hip, while her left hand is supporting her body to not fall down in Yang Luo's. 

"It looks like Luoluo was offended but that is a fact. The rights of the women is nothing compared to men. CEO Yang probably gave you the t.i.tle as an heiress but are you sure you'll really inherit it? Yang Ruoyi, send you to a man's bed and the talk about you being unchaste is circulating around the capital."

"Nothing happened!" The veins in Yang Luo's head is ready to popped up at any moment. Her hatred towards Yang Rouyi reached a greater height so when she heard he encountered an accident, a relief smile suddenly reveals itself.

"Let's say nothing really happened, but who would believe you? Your father lose his face to even clean your image, your reputation is as dirty as mud. Luoluo, try to wake up. Yang Ruoyi is taking away everything you own, he's not even sparing your dignity. One day, you will wake up in regret in not taking someone's help."

The last thread snapped out. Those mixed emotions gushed out. Her fear, hatred, longing, loneliness, sadness, they all flow out. 

"What can I do?! My father didn't even look at me when I told him that Rouyi framed me! He even look at me disgustingly and said I was a s.l.u.t! Xi Sheng stared at the glistening tears that flowed out in Yang Lou's eyes like a waterfall. The situation calls someone to pity Yang Luo but Xi Sheng who find the crying Yang Luo even more beautiful cannot be counted on to calm her down. 

Instead of pacifying her through words, it's much better to let her cry out to her hearts content and let her grievance be washed away by her tears. She offered her ears in listening to her misfortune and it already induce dislike towards Yang Rouyi in Xi Sheng's heart.

"Me, I will help you okay?" Xi Sheng move her hands and coax her through....flirting.

Xi Ansheng's body was military trained so even if Xi Sheng stayed at the top of Yang Luo, her body didn't get stiff but was still flexible like before. 

Xi Sheng stands up and brew a black tea and burn a bergamot incense to calm the nerves.

"The leader of the feminist movement strived to gained the equal rights as of men's and they successfully did it, getting the women's right law. The law paved a way to show the women's talents and skills in different fields. Our era display that there's no discriminatiom between men and women and we have this  so-called equality but the problem is, those high profiles are in favor of male over female in terms of a successor."

Xi Sheng offered a cup of black tea to Yang Luo to replenish her sweats that came from her eyes.

"Gender equality? That's nothing but an empty talk. Yes, your company's shareholders are dissatisfied with Yang Ruoyi's background but why did your father still introduced him in public? Is he not shameful that the world will know that he cheated in his wife? Then why did the shareholders didn't oppose when Yang Ruoyi entered the company? Because of pity to a b.a.s.t.a.r.d son?"

Xi Sheng wants to test if Yang Luo's IQ is online but if not, then she can bulls.h.i.+t someone from her bad luck on meeting a pig teammate.

Xi Sheng peer at Yang Luo's impending mood. She unfolds the hurtful truth about his father's betrayal on her. 

"The b.a.s.t.a.r.d start from nothing but he earned his position through hard work, proving his ability not to be trampled, pleasing the shareholders and dissatisfied by you. The heiress started from the highest point and although she showed her  capability, her reputation is stained by black. The bad things can be overlooked if your powerful, it can be suppressed and the opinion of the public can be directed but did your father helped you? He didn't and even called you a s.l.u.t.  This could only one thing: CEO Yang looked down at you, his daughter."

Yang Luo entered the pensive mood and Xi Sheng intensify her feeling by stating the revelation to her. 

"Between the b.a.s.t.a.r.d who proved his ability and the heiress whose reputation was stained black, who do you think will CEO Yang choose?"

"Even if he chooses Yang Ruoyi, I still have accountable shares than him." Yang Luo blurted out these words as if persuading Xi Sheng but in truth, she's convincing herself.

'Although delusional but still salvageable.' Xi Sheng thought to herself.

"You're not getting the bigger picture. Yes, you have a large share on your name but are you sure that it wasn't altered? Besides the stocks aren't stable, they can mount to a high price but if you're unlucky, they value lower than a candy. Your shares are probably high but can it rival the support of the board of directors?" 

Xi Sheng crushed the tiny confidence left on Yang Luo. 

She gave time to Yang Luo to digest the truth behind the secret betrayal. Although she lacked on EQ department but her IQ could cover the insufficiency of the former. She knows betrayal is something that's  hurtful to someone that trusted you, especially when that person is your loved ones. 

Sometimes, it's good to be hurt by the truth than live in lies, Xi Sheng understands that fact. 

Minutes pa.s.sed until the eerie silence was broke by Yang Luo's question, "Are you also like those men?"

"I'm not old to be one. If you're aware with our history, you'll know the prestige of a daughter is higher than a son. The daughter can have anything she wants, wealth, power, dignity, prestige. But of course there's a price to pay."Xi Sheng stated in a playful manner but she whispered the last sentence. 

A smile revealed itself in Yang Luo's lips but it can't be categorized as a positive one," What is your plan?"

"Is this a deal then?" Xi Sheng listen to her reply, not taking any answers a.s.sociated with the word 'no.'

"I have no ally." She replied weakly, knowing her weakness.

"Well, your answer could suffice. The plan is instead of sucking to your father that could be fired anytime why not suck up to the highest man?"

"The Chairman?" Yang Luo's eyes widen at Xi Sheng's words.

"Bingo. But do you have what it takes to be in power?You have to sacrifice anything in order to achieve everything."

'To be in power...' Like a subliminal message, these words circulated in her brain, giving a surge of motivation and also doubt.

"I....am willing." Although she knows that there's a probability of dirty work, since her reputation took a great blow, why not living up for it?

Xi Sheng gapes at the satisfied naked woman beside her. She stood up her refreshed yet tired self.

The figures she acquired from her is enough to turned the tables with Xi Anwei's prospect in destroying Xi Family but Xi Sheng is still not contented with the results, she still need sufficient evidences.

Xi Sheng read her meaning:" No need, already called a service."
Pei Jiang went to her closet then accompany Xi Sheng in waiting the service while carrying a paper bag.
Xi Sheng look up and saw a cloudless starry sky.
Pei Jiang felt moved in seeing such a mind blowing scene:" The reason I chose to reside here is that of this scene. The night sky is like a calming pill to me, even if I experienced pain and unfairness, looking at this makes it feel worth it."

Countless stars are displayed at the cloudless and unpolluted sky. Cold breeze embraces their being while the noises of the insects are simply too calming.

Contrary to Pei Jiang's opinion, Xi Sheng gazed at the sky feeling negative emotions like remorse, helplessness and defenselessness. She felt that the world was too big to grasp, and she was just an insignificant being. The stars look down in her like no one will feel sad when she suddenly pa.s.s away.

A car's noise shattered their atmosphere and it change into a parting one. Xi Sheng glances at the car displeased for ruining her mood.

Xi Sheng exchanged pleasantries before setting off but Pei Jiang hold her back, she extends her and gave a Xi Sheng a paper bag with a known logo of a clothing line.

"This is a breast binder, its much healthier to use than a white cloth. Take it as a little gift from me."

Xi Sheng:" Well, I don't have any gift to give but this card from our company. Show this to any employee, and they will give you their utmost priority."

The card is colored silver and its holders are VIPs of Xi Corporation, the card is hard to get especially if your connection and power is little.

Pei Jiang decreased their distance and whispered to her:" As a little reminder, Xi Anwei is a lunatic. He'll do anything to achieve his dreams, even selling himself to the devil. "

Her hot breath brushed to her face, her reminder wasn't taken seriously but it embedded itself somewhere in Xi Sheng's brain.

After a long trip of silence, they reach the silent house without talking.

Xi Sheng left the car and walk straight to her room.

Xi Sheng look fixedly at the proposals, but she knew that it's a girl because of the shadow.

A delicate and cute voice was heard but that didn't make Xi Sheng look at her. She's not in the mood to flirt with someone.

Manager Zhao looked fixedly at Xi Sheng with determination and resoluteness in his eyes: " I have decided to accept your offer."

From the looks of it, Xi Ansheng offered Zhao Fang a rise in position by warming her bed but it was just a joke between men and Xi Ansheng didn't mean it and planned to promote him because of his loyalty towards the Company.

When Zhao Fang met Xi Sheng's eyes, he felt more terrified. His body stiffen and the energy to support his legs abruptly left; he fell on the floor and hugged his knees.
