The white screen is showing a delicate and kind guy in a screen. He's wearing a suit and a professional smile hung in his face. Xi Sheng is having an impulse to erase that disgusting smile out of his face.

Xi Sheng laughed maniacally that causes 008 to grin. [It looks like host is ready to accept.]

[I am System 008, known as The Stud Horse System. Since you already accepted, I will be your guide and partner all throughout our journey. The worlds are made of different fragments, every world's settings differ from each other, this is to remind the host to not be shocked if you suddenly encounter a magical being. First, the system will issue missions that are divided into a main and sub. Main missions are needed to be done within an ample time, if main missions are failed, you will be given a punishment. Sub missions aren't that important, but it will give you protection stars to nullify the punishment. Second, the rewards of completing the main will be in random order, it will give you a healing potion or some powerful things, it is random and completing the main missions will grant you experience points to buy anything you need in the store. You will be given Star Points that can increase  your: appearance, luck, IQ, physique, ability level and prowess. Third, every world can only issue one main mission and an unlimited amount of sub mission. Fourth, the body that host will transmigrate into will always be a female and after the transfer, the host will experience a h.e.l.l-like headache upon receiving the original owner's memories. System 008 isn't petty and won't issue a warning if you OOC, but host should be careful, the fragments have consciousness, they can remove if you harm their will.]

Xi Sheng is taught to listen when someone is talking. But this piece of s.h.i.+t of a system didn't even stop for a second and continue his monologue as if he's just talking to a low-life animal.

"What punishment?" She's curious about this. What could they do a formless soul like her? Soul torment is most possible.

[We didn't like physical or soul pain. The punishment is better than those two. Its psychological torture or emotional soul anguish. We replay the host's painful and frightening experience and replay it again and again.]

"He he. The punishment is really too kind. Too f.u.c.king kind! And what's with stud horse system?"

[Thank you for the compliment. As I've said earlier, you unconsciously created a harem when you were alive and is the reason reformation system evoked your application to them. It is such a waste if you are given to those boring and plain old s.h.i.+ts.]

Xi Sheng's mind drifted when she was in highschool. Her old teacher once discussed about a person who got cloned. They are the same person and same personality. They didn't get along well. The clone tried to kill the original person. 

Xi Sheng didn't understand why.  Aren't birds of the same feather flock together? 

Meeting this 008 made Xi Sheng enlightened. It's because the clone knew only one of them can live. They are 100% the same but the world they are living in only needs one. People with alike personality aren't 100% the same, although there's a similarity between them but cannot change that those birds are unique. They have different parent, genetic, appearance and body but the clone and the original are 100% the same.

Not all birds will flock together, some of them will kill the other. Especially when your personality is bad and other is also bad.

"What can I achieve in completing those worlds you speak of?" She isn't stupid. It's impossible to travel in those fragments forever so there is probably something she and this system gains in order for the both to benefit.

Xi Sheng's eyes showed a calm and serene eyes but 008 saw a raging and dangerous glint in them.

Xi Sheng woke up with a head-splitting headache. Her sword-like brows trembled. The transfer of memories takes time to be deciphered and completely be embedded in her. Minutes pa.s.sed until she opened her eyes that resembled a raging ocean.She sat up while light shone upon her face; it created an ethereal view.

Her skin is like the highest grade of white jade; completely flawless.

Her messy black hair makes her even more s.e.xy. Her left ear had a piercing that make her exude a dangerous yet seductive air around her.

Unruly, dangerous, domineering!

Anyone who'd seen this young 'man' would think the same thing.

Xi Sheng's new body travels neither masculinity nor feminity. So one really needs to look whether she's a he or a she.

Beads of sweats slid down on her body, making her more s.e.xy and gave more definition to her well-defined jaws.

She scans her surrounding to familiarize herself with her new room, she noticed that  that she's in a British-styled. White dominated the whole room, contrary to her original room that is completely black.

Xi Sheng went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. She undresses from head to toe and notice that her chest is banded by a white cloth so she unbound it; it was as big as hers in her original life, so she was pretty annoyed. A girl may think having a big chest is nice, not to Xi Sheng, though.  It always attracted unwanted attentions.

She opened the shower and drips of hot water started to land on her body;a white mist surrounds her, making the whole scene nose-bleeding. After the quick shower, she dries herself up and banded her chest, hoping that it won't continue to grow. She left her hair damp and wear a formal male uniform. 

"A fresh graduate, still a child yet with a responsibility of an adult. How stupid." She didn't feel any pity towards her, but rather contempt for agreeing to her Father. But she can't blame her, she only craved for a parent's warmth, her mother's love.

She took her personal items and left her room locked. She descended the stairs and the scene that greets her is harmonius breakfast within the whole Xi Family. She felt ironic. 

'This people are so so beautiful but they were faced with an ugly predicament'

The Xi family isn't small in number but can't also be describe as big. Ansheng's father is the eldest and the patriach of the whole family, there are a total of 4 of them. Their importance towards their family member is great so they made a rule where everyone in the family should eat together at the ancestral house, they also live in one whole compound. The funny thing is that there is no woman present, only her. The wives of the Xi siblings are all dead, the most laughable thing is that their offsprings is all male. She can't help herself to ridicule this family's luck. And because Xi Sheng is the only sister here, she is pampered enough to ascend the heaven. 

Xi Sheng greets her father, the elders and then her cousins, she lastly greeted Xi Anwei.

She sat beside her father and across to Anwei, she can see clearly his movements.

Xi Sheng happily talks with her cousins and leave Anwei alone. The whole Xi family didn't find anything abnormal, but Xi Anwei did. He felt that he's being ignored by her. He ate normally but his hands are more tighter than usual.

'It looks like this Anwei isn't even aware that Ansheng is a woman. So the Xi people aren't stupid as I thought. They are quite on guard even on this adopted son.'

Their breakfast ended, harmonius on the ouside but dangers are lurking inside.

The late Xi Musheng was a part of military. He was a.s.signed to guard the n.o.ble daughter of the ducal house of Shu, Shu Ningning. They later fall in love with each other; they gave life to Xi An, Xi Anxing, Xi Anrong and Xi Anying. The union of a military man and a n.o.ble daughter wasn't accepted, and they were exiled, stripped off from any inheritance from both sides. 

They didn't live in poverty but not in riches either. Their income was enough to feed them three times a day. Shu Ningning died after Xi An reached the age of an adult. She died at a young age, making the Duke of Shu felt regretful in letting his beloved daughter chased after her happiness. Her death was a hard blow to Xi Musheng and Xi An. He is the eldest son so he a.s.sumed the responsibility of taking care of the whole family. His father's health deteriorated, his once muscular body became thinner and thinner. Xi An's younger brothers were too young to mourn for their deceased mother. 

Xi An did unimaginable things to support his whole family. He faced the darkest side of the society.

Duke of Shu's male descendants ceased to exist, they all died in a plague as if they were cursed by a black horse. Their death caused suspicions above the upper echelon, the investigations showed no abnormality of a third party; they died just like that. Dukedom of Shu became a laughingstock, their doom was already set in stone. He was unwilling to end their n.o.ble blood, so he reclaimed her deceased daughter's sons. Xi Musheng was in the verge of death, so when Duke of Shu have invited him to be his heir, he didn't waste a second and agreed immediately. 

His father's health recovered, and the flouris.h.i.+ng of Shu Dukedom. Duke Shu pa.s.sed away with a smile on his wrinkled face, everyone mourned for him, apart from the emotionless Xi An. 

Weeks haven't even past when a raging news swept the money-making industry. The Shu's are now Xi's. Xi Corporation dominated the whole industry. Their worth value increased by a hundred-fold under the hands of Xi An. 

His younger brothers grew up in his care until they met their beloved wives and gave life to their sons. They're all grateful to his sacrifices; no one could bring themselves to envy him. Their sons inherited their gratefulness, so no one vies for the inheritance. Xi An's younger brothers have already been married and he's the only bachelor, he was pressured to take a wife. 

Life father, like son. Xi An met his fateful one and became a doting husband. He didn't inquire about his wife's past; he trusted her with his whole life. There are doubts about her ident.i.ty but it was expelled when Xi Ansheng came in their world.

Xi An pampered her daughter and wife, enough for them to ascend. He was so possessive that he allowed none informations like Ansheng's gender or his wife's face to leak. Sadly, due to the Xi's cursed fate, Xi An's wife died after she took the bullet for him. In that time, he understood his father on how painful it was to see your beloved lie in a coffin. His misery caused him to neglect Ansheng thus she was sent to her grandfather in another country to accompany him. Her relatives are all mourning for a loss of a family member, so how could they take care of a child? 

Their father's health once again became healthy and someone is taking care for Xi Ansheng. Two birds with one stone, so how could they agree to take her back? 

Xi An forgot his daughter, he was overcome by the loss of his parter. He focused his attention to their business to numb his longing. 

Unknown to them, Xi Ansheng was raised as a male in Xi Musheng's house in M Country. She inherited her late wife's turquoise eyes. He planned to pamper her but his memory of his wife's death caused him to steeled his heart and make Xi Ansheng kill anyone who dares to hunt her and defiled her rights and owners.h.i.+p. He trained her as a soldier as he was. Xi Ansheng thirst of knowledge kicked in, she absorbed everything. 

She longed for her parent's warmth, but no one even her grandfather could fulfill it thus she found it in older women's arms. She slept with them when she needs to be loved, Xi Musheng could only turned a blind eye on it.

Years have pa.s.sed when Xi Ansheng's brilliance shone in M country. Her status as a student that gained many merits caused her to be cla.s.sified as one of those gifted. Her name resounded even in C country, making Xi An lose his composure for a moment. 

The four Xi brothers visited their father's villa they made just for him. Their communication can't be labeled neither good nor bad, it's in the level of acquaintance, the three Xi brothers grew up with their big brother after all. 

Xi An didn't beat around the bush and quickly stated his request to take back Ansheng. Xi Musheng smiled at his eldest son as he introduced Ansheng to him. 

Ansheng was a li'l bit unwilling, but it vanished immediately when one of her uncles mentioned the name of her mother.

They stayed at the villa and came into the decision to leave next day. Xi Ansheng happily packed her baggage and went to her grandpa's room to share her feelings and thoughts. She thought when she opened the door, her grandpa's smiling face will welcome her. The scent of iron wafted in the room, eerie sound of rope could be heard. Her grandfather's kind smile was still there, the only difference is that his body is tied in a rope and it created a creepy image.

Xi Musheng committed suicide. 

Unlike others, Xi Ansheng didn't scream but tears flowed in her eyes. She cried silently. She walked towards his smiling grandfather, his eyes were open and its as if he's watching her every move, it didn't scare Xi Ansheng but the thought of her can never see him did. She untied the rope and gently laid his cold body in the bed. She closed his eyes and kissed him in the forehead like he did when she's feeling down. She saw a letter beside the table and she read what it was. 

'If you read this letter, then it means that I'm already dead. 

Xi Anying, my youngest son, I know that you're mad at me because I never showed you my responsibility as a father and I regretted that. Despite of that, you always made me laugh and always try to cheer me up. You inherited your mom's lively voice I loved the most, she also said you'll surely be the naughtiest child among you because you peed on me when I was carrying you. 

My cute twins, Anrong and Anxin. The both of you inherited your mom's playfulness. The two of you always supported me when your mom died and although it's also painful for the both of you, you still tried to be understanding to my selfishness. Thank you. 

Xi An, my eldest and stubborn son. You received her sense of responsibility. I made you a.s.sume the duty of a parent. I'm so sorry if I were so annoying and demanding. I'm so sorry if I made you faced the world without the guidance and protection of a father. I'm so sorry, because of me you were pressured to take Duke Shu's offer to cure me and lengthen my life. But even so, I'm so proud of you. 

My sons, you experienced the damage I received when your mother died and i hope that someday, you'll forgive me. All of you have became great men and great fathers, though all of them are males but you still gave me an angel, Xi Ansheng. You haven't visited me in years after my recovery so when you send her for me to be taken care of, you made me feel trusted. All of you, be  good to your sons and don't do what I did. Especially you Xi An, take care of your daughter. 

My dear sons, I am so proud to all of you. Let me accompany your mother in heaven. Prioritize your family while they're still alive, be close to them and don't waste your time on  holding great hatred or else you'll suffer. This old body and mind are already tired of living. I will now set off.'

Xi Ansheng didn't know what happened next. She heard her crying voice becoming loud and loud. She let her sadness and grievances all out, it's as if her grandpa's death triggers every emotion in her. Her painful and sorrowful wailing resounded in the house, alarming every person. 

Xi Ansheng looked at them and fainted. She fell in to coma. Her consciousness appeared after Xi Musheng's wake. Due to mental shock, her brain activated her motivated forgetting, where she unconsciously forgot how Musheng died. 

'A pity that only Musheng's death was deleted. Maybe, if all of her memories vanished, then she wouldn't be as shattered as this.' Xi Sheng commented in her heart.

Information about Xi Ansheng's whereabouts were completely wiped out when Xi An's wife pa.s.sed away. So when they saw Xi Ansheng, they thought she was 'he' but Xi An reminded them he is a 'she' through and through. They were shocked how handsome this niece of theirs. 

When Xi Ansheng arrived at the Xi Manor, Xi Anwei was already adopted by Xi Anying. He was hailed as the prodigy at 13 and Xi Ansheng's sudden appearance and t.i.tled as the heir of the corporation caused Anwei to feel that all of his efforts are gone to waste. He thought since Xi An has no offsprings and all of his cousins aren't interested, he'd be the one to succeed Xi Corporation. He put all of his efforts to be recognized by Xi An yet his supposed recognition was given to Xi Ansheng. 

He gave his efforts to be given as a manager of one of their branches yet he isn't satisfied. The position of a manager is nothing to his eyes; he wanted more. He is like an insatiable beast that wanted to devour everything. 

While he was struggling from his insecurities, Xi Ansheng fools around yet she was given everything that Anwei hoped to have. He was given a lowly position yet Xi Ansheng was given the position of a stockholder of the company.

No one noticed his hidden hostility, even the original owner but maybe Xi An did. Even if Anwei showcased his brilliance, he was never promoted to be with the main corporation. Xi An was clever, he knew from the first time he saw him that Anwei is a thirsty beast so he broadcast that Xi Anwei can never be transferred in the main corporation until he said so. Some have objections, but they were suppressed by Xi An. The Xi members remain unchanged and disregard the possibility of a power struggle between Xi Anwei and Xi Ansheng because compet.i.tion isn't new but if something bad happens to Xi Ansheng, they will interfere since she was introduced as the sole 'heir.'

Just like before, she spends her nights chasing the warmth she desires the most. This caused her to be reprimanded, but she never stopped so they can only protect her privacy.

Xi Anwei only thinks of Xi Ansheng as a l.u.s.tful 'man' who uses 'his' power to sleep with women. He tried to use this as threat for Ansheng's reputation, but the women who Ansheng slept with has either tight-lipped or powerful background, so he can't get anything useful. 

Xi Anwei is never interested in opposite s.e.x, he could never be turned on, but he finds beautiful women pleasing to his eyes. When Ansheng is always with other women, the look in 'his' eyes are indifference, causing Anwei to mistake this as mocking. The level of his hatred towards Ansheng rose once again. 

Xi Sheng arrived at the company's main entrance. Everyone bowed down to her, but she still attracted l.u.s.tful gazes from both s.e.xes. Xi Sheng walked into the front desk and displayed her perfect set of teeth, the front desk can't take his eyes away from this beautiful 'man.'

He thought if this young 'man' invited him to ride his flagpole, even he won't reject this favor. 

Xi Anwei saw the scene in the front desk, his hostility rise the moment he saw the gentle smile in Xi Sheng's lips. 

"I have a lunch meeting with Ms. Yang in a conference 3A but since someone booked it before me, inform her I changed it into an afternoon meeting. Thank you." 

The cute man in the front desk made sure that everything 'he' said are jotted down, he can't make a fool out of himself in front of this 'man.'

The man who booked the conference room before Xi Sheng is currently intoxicated in listening to her voice. 

Xi Sheng felt that someone is looking at her back, her and Anwei's eyes looked at each other. One containing arrogance while the other is showing confusion but quickly snapped in his puzzled state. 

Xi Sheng didn't greet or nod at him; she pa.s.sed at him like what a stranger would do. 

This is what the original owner do when meeting with this adopted cousin of hers. She looks docile in front of their family but she still has the pride rooted in her bones. Xi Anwei's existence is like a dog in her eyes, only a lackey to Xi Family. 

Xi Anwei felt a nostalgia when he met Xi Ansheng's turquoise eyes. It's as if those eyes belong to him. When his silhouette disappeared from her eyes, he felt panic. The thought of someone will be reflected in her eyes is making him pale in jealousy. 

Xi Anwei sorted his thoughts and feelings. He's quite baffled on what's happening to him. He rejected the fact that he's not moving at all when Xi Sheng walked half past at him.

The women who are chasing after Anwei isn't lacking but compare to Ansheng, it can be describe as heaven and h.e.l.l. 

Ansheng's previous dealings caused her to be more 'experienced' in night life compare to the innocent Anwei that is surrounded by hairy-chested males.

"Manager Xi, the meeting has been called off by the other party." The man in the suit is angry by the sudden notification of the other party. 

Anwei looked at the furious staff and nodded his head. 

"Notify the front desk that we will not use the conference room." He's expecting this to happen, anyway.

"But Manager! This is done by the Chairman!He is so unfair, he already nullifies your acceptance in the main branch! You're more talented than that vixen! You worked hard for this cooperation to happen but it soon exploited by the Chairman for the good-for-nothing Xi Ansheng! All he does is sleep with those women and pillow talk with them until they sell informations! He's already born with a silver spoon yet he seizes every possible way to exploit you...."

Xi Anwei listen to his complain and is quite annoyed by his intervention towards his privacy. 

"Staff Ying, this is my business so please don't poke on it. You're just a staff and your mere existence in this branch is nothing. Your defiance towards your superior is unacceptable. You're lucky because it's me who you talked to but be careful, walls have ears."

He's always smiling and gentle in front of them and this caused them to admire him so the news of him being shut down by the CEO, every people within the branch felt pity and unfairness cast down upon him. They hated the rumoured 'heir' because they felt that 'he' is unsuitable to inherit the multi-billion corporation. The staff felt he should say some comforting words and sucked up to him but was revoked.

"But Manager..."

"Enough. You don't have the position to bite the hand that feeds you. Your role is to accommodate the store, not to badmouth our superior. You should remember the nature of Chairman An. He can do anything he wants. I have nothing. Now, do your work." The seriousness of Anwei instigate fear and shame in his heart. Luckily, Anwei is checking the papers in front of him so staff Ying run with his tail between his legs. 

Xi An is already merciful to him when he didn't use his connections to kill him off to secure his only 'son.' Anwei respects Xi An's ability to achieved his current standing, this could only mean that Xi An's power cannot be underestimated so that staff's loose mouth p.i.s.sed him off because it could create misunderstandings once it get to his enemies' side.

Piles of papers are piled up in his desk. They're either proposals or records that needs to be reviewed as soon as possible, yet Xi Anwei's mind is wandering. 

That person who hunts his dream every night appeared again but wilder than the usual. He also dreamt that person was at the top of him until that person closes its eyes, his dream ended and also his procrastination.

A knock came and a handsome young man with serious indifference walked in.

"Secretary Liang, shouldn't you ask for permission before walking inside a person's room?" Xi Anwei shows his polite smile to this respected Secretary that was sent by Xi An to monitor his every moves.

Secretary Liang didn't smile at him. He looked down at this adopted son because he dared to be ambitious enough to think Xi Corporation will be pa.s.sed onto him because his Young 'Master' was with the deceased old Master.

"Yang Group cancelled their meeting with you, their representative got into an accident so Heiress Yang continued the meeting with Young 'Master' since they have a meeting later in the afternoon. In order to compensate your time, they reserved a seat in a Mercari Restaurant just for you."

Anwei's smile cracked a little but he continues to smile. "How generous of them. I should invite Ansheng to celebrate this."

Secretary Liang's weakest spot is Xi Ansheng so he always tries to bring 'him' up to annoy this gla.s.ses man and he always succeeds, Secretary Liang's handsome face contorted in anger as if hearing his Young 'Master' out of this adopted son is a blasphemy.

"Manager Anwei shouldn't be too full of himself. Although the Chairman spared your life and cut off your veins, I will never let you off if you dare slander him once more."

'This wall's ears are very powerful.' Xi Anwei  thought to himself.

He stands up and walked into the door but before he leaves, he should irk some of this Secretary's veins. 

"Maybe Ansheng are always accompanied by women because 'he' doesn't want to spend his time with a plain man like you." 

"You!..."

Before Secretary Liang could make a comeback, Anwei already left....

He's already hungry, so he didn't reject Yang's reservation. 

He was accompanied by a waiter to entertain his request. 

"Dear Sir, your reservation should be at the second floor. This way please." The waiter respectfully guide Anwei to his seat. 

He is satisfied when he saw the seat reserved just for him. He was given a menu of French cuisines and different types of food.

"What would you like to eat first?"

"I'd like steak au poivre, Jambon persillé and a red wine, please."

"Your order will be served immediately." The waiter bowed a little and carried off his duty. 

Xi Anwei looked at the ambience of the prosperous restaurant. He's pleased at the settings and the security of the place. He thought the restaurant's t.i.tle as one of the affluent restaurant's in the capital is well-given, not until he laid his eyes on the table across him.

"Does it taste good?"

The person who makes him quiver in insecurity is also making him die in jealousy.

"The pepper steak is up to my standard. The sweetness and the peppery flavor have their own distinct taste that complement each other. As for the wine..."

Xi Sheng dilated her pupils and licks her lips.

"...intoxicating, is it?"

His voice created a certain degree of magnetism that draws everyone to it as if listening to a jazz music.

The man was wearing a graphite grey tuxedo that greatly complements his figure to an extent where no one could guess that he's already in his 40s.

His good looks and appearance exudes a sense of regal dignity befitting of an emperor who have slain many countries.

If he emits the air of an emperor, then Xi Sheng emanates the feeling of a rogue prince that does mischiefs all over their empire.

Although their looks are 85% similar, their difference can still be perceived by anyone. 

"How is your appointment with the Yangs?" His deep voice contains authority; glimpse of gentleness could be heard if someone attentive listen to it. 

Xi Sheng who never understand what familial love is, also felt a bit of kindness flowing in but she doesn't seem to know the reason behind that gentleness in his voice. 

"The representative had an accident and was immediately sent to the hospital. The upcoming event is approaching so they can't deploy anyone and since Heiress Yang and I are gonna meet, she decided to discuss the partners.h.i.+p later in the afternoon." 

Xi Sheng took a piece of the steak and put it in her mouth, savoring the taste of highlands. 

"Their big event is related to us so when you manage the deal, be sure to help their preparation." Xi An relay his words casually but Xi Sheng understand the hidden meaning of his words. If she manage to close the deal, then their company could extend their hands in Entertainment Industry, paving a way to dominate the field by exchanging 'benefits' from both sides. Although the deal may not last long but at least they have a partners.h.i.+p with an influential company, adding to their history. 

"That is given." The said event is a major key that smoothen Xi Anwei's way in reaching the top and so, Xi Sheng s.n.a.t.c.h this event in order to watch some drama but unfortunately, the other side fail her to see his true colors. 

Xi Corporation's strong income of money came from investing billions of money and staking at gambling. Although their source of money seems unreliable and shaky, nonetheless Xi An handled the business like a piece of cake. 

In the original text, the representative didn't get involve in the accident and their deal was close by Xi Anwei, both sides leaving in a satisfied manner. Xi Anwei's performance regarding the partners.h.i.+p made the higher ups quite satisfied. The meeting with Xi Ansheng and Heiress Yang is nothing but a chat, more than friends but less than lovers. Unfortunately, Heiress Yang got into an accident after their meeting so CEO Yang was enraged when he heard the news. He slanders Xi Ansheng, causing a rift between their deal until Xi Anwei became the mediator between two parties. Because of his persuasion skills, he manages to appease the anger of CEO Yang so any negotiations between their companies should be maneuvered by Xi Anwei. Lucky for him, Chairman An didn't interfere, but he watches him like silent madman ready to slaughter. 

The big event sailed successfully. Influential people from different fields praised the Yangs for their insights. Half of the credits was of course given to Xi Anwei, so their impressions of him was superb, marking him as a possible partner in a business when the Xi Corporation thinks of extending their hands on other industry.

If Xi Sheng didn't reschedule their meeting, then Heiress Yang should be at the death's door by now. She should be the one who got in accident, not the representative. And because of Xi Sheng's intervention, her suppose accident was given to the representative.

Their lunch ended just like that. Chatting like a business partner, not father and 'son.'

Xi An's time are precious. Many proposals and deals needs to be reviewed. There are also reports regarding the insides of his corporation he needed to wipe out.

Xi Sheng nodded her head and continue to eat. Everyone in the second floor are of powerful backgrounds so they minded their own business and acted like they hear nothing and see nothing.

"How was it? Were you jealous? Angry? Feeling unfair?" The corners of her lips showed a playful smile and her eyes turn to Xi Anwei.

Xi Anwei look at her lips that were wetted from the red wine. Xi Sheng look like a s.e.xy vampire royalty when she showed her canines.

"What's there to feel unfair and angry? The G.o.ddess of luck shows her favor on you but doesn't mean that it will last long. The ability is yours anyway." 

His eyes left her lips and focused his attention at the food that are being served to him. The food was mouth-watering but compare to that forbidden red fruit, it pales to arouse his appet.i.te. That red fruit is merely...inviting.

Xi Sheng once again became disappointed at his response. She wanted a little fight with him but she failed. Deeming Xi Anwei as a boring and plain person. 

"You're boring." Xi Sheng wipe her lips and left the restaurant leaving Xi Anwei in disarray.

He watches her as she left the vicinity. He watches her slender back vanish from his sight.  His lunch ended just like that. The once delicious meal became a stagnant one. His mind is once again being a.s.saulted by ideas he never once thought he will have.
