"To be fair with you, I won't use a skill too," 666666 taunted.
"That's so n.o.ble of you. However, you're fooling no one, fiend. You're indeed as nasty as they say! I can feel an abnormality in my mana with every touch of your blade." Lidar smirked as he parried a downward slash from the Demon Witcher.
"It doesn't make any difference. You're not gonna use a skill anyway." 666666 flipped back as the blood-black falchion in his hand suddenly transformed into a pair of black-blood scimitars linked by chains.
Swoos.h.!.+ The pair of black-blood curved blades slashed wildly, aiming for Lidar's neck; the clanking of chains echoed as 666666 flawlessly controlled them. If not for the Human's quick response, his head would have rolled already on the ground.
"A nasty cla.s.s and a nasty weapon. Do you have more surprises?" Lidar smiled as he fixed the portion of his black hair that was sc.r.a.ped by the blades.
"Of course. A player should never run out of surprises. Anyway, we've been doing this for quite some time already. So, here's my question before you die. Where's the silver-blood weapon that you got from RockSalt? I want it back." 666666 claimed as fiery purple particles suddenly appeared around his demonic body.
...
Kroaarrr! The shackled Moonfrost Panthera roared at the arrival of its own kind. It immediately exerted more effort to break free of StrongHammer's Sunspike Chains.
Meanwhile, Al did his best to maintain a calm state. He knew his limits. Just one swipe from the beast and the boy would be a goner. With only two seconds left of the Vanguard's skill, he immediately retreated. Suddenly, he noticed that the previous pair of vorpal swords that were equipped by X-1 and GreyWitZ hummed.
The golden runes in the swords glowed as the weapons suddenly transformed into a pair of red discs and returned to Yakouza's leather sack.
'Huh? What's that?' Confusion could be seen in Udil's face as he backed away from the Moonfrost Panthera. Meanwhile, the ceiling continued to cave in under the ongoing a.s.sault of the shadow golem.
"Retreat!" Gerd shouted just in time to dodge the swipe of the now-free Moonfrost Panthera and the fall of the pile of debris from the sewer's ceiling.
"How did you discover that they were spies from the Six Purgatories?" In the face of danger, Al shamelessly brought up the issue. After all, he was not yet at peace with the death of the two swordsmen. He could not still believe that the two have betrayed his trust.
"Thanks to Brother's skills." Gerd shot a grateful look towards Yakouza. "The vorpal swords..."
Gerd was busy blocking the attacks of the Moonfrost Panthera, "...can trace their wielder's contacts." Meanwhile, the other two beasts were also nearing while the shadow golem, Reinier, loomed on the skyline with his battle-axe ready to claim lives.
Sepanx! Grey b.a.l.l.s of flames suddenly shot out of Gerd's staffsword, heading towards the four summoned beasts.
Kroaaarr! The panther that just got out of the shackles roared in pain as it was sent cras.h.i.+ng to the other two. Its enormous body was set ablaze by Gerd's skill. In the same way, the shadow golem was thrown off as it struggled in removing the flames in its body.
The summoned beasts' HP decreased at a visible rate, especially the three Moonfrost Panthera as the grey flames on their side was thicker.
Meanwhile, the other members of t.i.tans and the Six Purgatories were still tangling.
Styx was exchanging bullets with Tupac as the Murloc's enormous blue-water projectiles in the shape of sharks swallowed the electric pellets from the Divine Gunner's revolvers.
"Just because you have an advantage in elements, do you really think that your measly toy bullets could stop me? You're naive!" The Murloc taunted as his body suddenly disappeared, leaving a murky puddle behind.
On the other hand, Yamasteh, Was.h.i.+ngtonBusy, and the other Level 200 players of t.i.tans were busy luring the Black Dragon away from their guild leader. The beast's flames were just too destructive that it must be dragged away from the battlefield.
"Fools! Do you really think that you're just dealing with a dungeon boss?" Bossing Fiao, the Goblin Summoner laughed in ridicule as she willed the other three shadow golems to intercept the party of Yamasteh. "Prost, we have a special company in the sewers. Can you welcome them?" There was suddenly a trace of worry in Fiao's voice as she saw the damage that her summoned units took from the unknown group in the sewers.
"Leave them to me." Mourning Prost nodded. His Undead Legion was already cleared out by t.i.tans. However, before the Undead Alchemist could even move he and Bossing Fiao suddenly found themselves locked in by bombs and arrows - DarwinSniper & Tripod Sunset.
The remaining members of t.i.tans were kept busy by Papa Dino and Ealdama. A hundred players took the brunt of their rampage with the help of DumbleBell. However, the duo still had the advantage when it comes to combat power. They were unstoppable if not for MidasHeart and ForbiddenFruit, the two Vice Guild Leader's presence.
Eruption! Papa Dino was in his tyrannosaurus rex form with his body covered in flames; he had just activated a domain skill. Every whip of his tail created a ma.s.sive explosion that deterred the other players from outnumbering him and the Orc.
"Come on, Midas! Is this all you can do?" Meanwhile, the dark-skinned Orc was a battle maniac who enjoyed slamming his pair of burning spears on the Divine Vanguard's couple of purple kite-s.h.i.+elds.
Meanwhile, DumbleBell was being protected by the other members, with ForbiddenFruit, the Dwarf a.s.sa.s.sin, as his most reliable guard. However, the Wizard was still focused on Lidar's situation while supporting the remainder of his troops.
...
Lidar suddenly found himself unable to move at the advent of the fiery purple particles that surrounded 666666's demonic body.
"I thought you wouldn't use a skill? And what silver-blood weapon are you talking about? We're not the ones who had killed RockSalt." The Human Warrior still managed to joke at the face of death.
"Who do you think are you fooling, Lidar? If you don't admit, I'll just have to kill everyone here until that weapon is found. It's more important than Alistor City! Die!" 666666's calm demonic face suddenly turned wicked as the pair of black-blood scimitar in his hands transformed into a staff as long as his arm span.
Magic Void Break! Boom! Lidar's body suddenly exploded as the mana around him went berserk.
A puddle of red blood mired with purple substances and white-colored label equipment was all that was left in Lidar's position, but there was no silver-blood weapon to be found.
"b.a.s.t.a.r.d!" 666666 should have been happy with the death of Lidar, but instead, he felt insulted.
He knew that he and Lidar were fighting toe-to-toe if not for his hidden cla.s.s' skills. However, all this time, the Human Warrior was armed with common-type equipment - the weakest type of armor and weapon that one could find in the game.
Meanwhile, a man holding a silver-blood bow saw all that had happened. Udil has just emerged from the sewer when he saw Lidar's body explode to death under the hands of 666666.
