That was a bit surprising. Although Catmod already said to me that there were other people in the area, he didn't say anything about having people near his lair except us. Who was that person anyway? I was a curious person so I decided to investigate, I am not going to go far from the lair anyway.

"From what I can remember, that person should be behind this tree and shrubs..." I mumbled as I ready my flaming hands to strike if there is any hidden danger.

There was nothing strange except the bag that seems to contain something big. It was clear that the bag is almost on its limit and if pulled hard, it would go break. A shrill feeling invaded my body as I sense the mana on the bag. Something is inside! I step back a few meters while keeping my guard up into the bag. However, from the shape, its an egg but I don't remember an animal having an egg as big as this. Unless...

"Holy sh*t..." I backed off a bit. What if the egg was a dinosaur egg? Or an egg of a monster? Anything is possible! And it might hatch while I was holding it!

But if that happened, I wondered a bit. If that is the case, there would be a chance to roast one with my flames, or if it was a tame monster, grab the chance and befriend the monster? She looked at me and shook her head. So even she has no idea what this was either? My only chance to know what it was would be from Moonlight or Catmod since they have more knowledge about mystical stuff like this.

When I reached the living room, Moonlight is sitting on the sofa and is currently scrolling on her phone, probably chatting with the other magicians in the chat group. "What is that?" Moonlight asked as she tried checking on the bag.

Moonlight tilted her head and check a bit on the egg. She also checks the structure and appearance of the egg before she leaned back to the sofa with a bewildered look on her face.

"Where did you get this egg anyway?' Moonlight looked at me with confusion.

There was no one else in there except this. I am a bit cautious about it at first but I decided to bring it along with me when I saw that it doesn't hold any kind of danger," I explained.

Moonlight is silent at first and rubbed her chin as she contemplated what would happen. After a few more minutes, she nodded and stood up.

"Bring that egg with us. We will look for its origin in Catmod's library. We can find out if it is a dragon or if it is a bird."
