Chapter 207: Unt.i.tled
Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios
The stats a.n.a.lyzer gave the final word. “When we go to the eSports hub to train tomorrow, all of you play a few matches together, test out the teamwork. Okay, next.”
Nuo sighed. “There’s no need to say it, I’m definitely the most problematic one. The machines at the eSports hub are not for me at all, everyone is especially fast, with my reaction capacity, I’m barely able to keep up.”
At the mention of reaction capacity, Ji Zhiyao suddenly thought of certain methods of A.K’s and suggested, “At the beginning, when my master wanted to build up my reaction capacity, he used methods like catching a ruler, you can give it a try.”
“Catching a ruler? Throwing with one hand and catching with the other?”
Ji Zhiyao nodded. “Yup.”
Nuo was sincerely confused. “That f*cking works too? Alright, I will go buy a ruler to try it out today.”
“Take your average count. Practice every day, prevents dementia.”
“I am a talented and handsome young man right in prime who hasn’t even held a girl’s hand, how is it possible that I will become senile, don’t spout nonsense.”
In the harmonious and lively atmosphere, the stats a.n.a.lyzer questioned each of them one by one, then everyone put their heads together to come up with solutions… When they were done, Ji Zhiyao stealthily sneaked back to his room before everyone and shut the door.
Before he could celebrate that he hadn’t been caught by Mo Huaifeng and escaped, his phone in his pocket vibrated. An ill feeling suddenly grew in him.
Ji Zhiyao picked out his phone from his pocket, stretched his arm out, holding his phone away before reluctantly sliding open his screen.
[DB.MHF: Afraid?]
“Afraid your a.s.s!
“d.a.m.n it!
“Ahhhh I backed down, what can you do to me? Come over personally to catch me?”
[DB.MHF: I can consider.]
Ji Zhiyao was stunned, rooted to the ground.
What the f*ck!
He had shouted towards the screen, what was with his Captain? He could even read thoughts through a screen?
[DB.MHF: Your room’s windows aren’t closed.]
“…”
Sure enough, what else would be better than entrapping yourself?
Ji Zhiyao threw his phone down in despair, walked out of his room and went to knock on his Captain’s door next door.
Mo Huaifeng was probably already waiting, he opened the door very quickly.
Ji Zhiyao’s gaze swept past the small smile on Mo Huaifeng’s face and instantly flew into the rage, preparing to breathe fire with a yell… Before he could say anything, Mo Huaifeng had covered his mouth and carried him into the room.
After closing the door, Mo Huaifeng then let go of him.
“What are you trying to do, murder your boyfriend?”
“The sound-proofing on this level is not too good, aren’t you afraid of being overheard?
“Now there’s no one else in the room, whatever you want to say about me, go ahead, don’t be afraid.
Mo Huaifeng removed his jacket, and lifted a brow at him. “Not going to?”
Ji Zhiyao somehow felt as if a switch on his Captain had been turned on, he seemed very merciless, how would he dare to provoke him now, he cowered into a pile. “I don’t dare, can’t afford to offend you.”
“Tsk.”
He gripped Ji Zhiyao’s wrist and dragged him into the room.
Then crashed his lips onto Ji Zhiyao’s.
Biting again!
Ji Zhiyao rolled his eyes, but instead of struggling, he steadily bit him back.
Just like this, biting each other, more than ten minutes pa.s.sed, Mo Huaifeng suddenly relaxed his bite, frowned and while Ji Zhiyao wasn’t paying attention, grabbed his hand and placed it lower.
Ji Zhiyao instantly sobered.
“Tsk.”
“d.a.m.n you! Captain why are you so lewd?”
“I’m showing you my treasure and you’re still unhappy?
“Stop moving about, if you continue, I will f*ck you till you cry.”
More than an hour later.
Ji Zhiyao’s face was as red as a baboon’s b.u.t.t as he dashed into own room from Mo Huaifeng’s like an escapee.
Then he swiftly ran into the bathroom, turned on the shower.
After standing in the gus.h.i.+ng cold water for half an hour, Ji Zhiyao then finally calmed down thoroughly.
He exhaustedly changed into fresh clothes and returned to his room.
As he walked past the living room, he stopped and bowed his head to stare at the fruit knife on the table, pondering over the possibility of certain tentative ideas becoming reality.
After thinking it through for a good few minutes, he pursed his lips and turned to sneak back into his room.
Forget it, forget it, life still has to go on.
…
The next morning.
Because of a habit formed from training with A.K, Ji Zhiyao was up really early. After was.h.i.+ng up, he walked out to the tatami where they had agreed to gather at yesterday.
Yet the tatami was completely empty.
Ji Zhiyao sat on it and brought out his phone to send texts.
[MelonRind: Wake up brothers!]
[MelonRind: d.a.m.n, all of you are still sleeping?]
[MelonRind: What’s wrong with you bunch of internet-addicted youths? Can’t all of you keep the habit of early to bed, early to rise to train well?]
Yet there wasn’t a single living thing in the group chat, Ji Zhiyao waited for a long while and no one responded. He was so infuriated that he laid down on the tatami, playing with his phone to entertain himself while waiting.
Another half an hour pa.s.sed, Ji Zhiyao sat up abruptly.
He was starving. He stopped waiting, deciding to go downstairs to get breakfast before anything else.
Ji Zhiyao took the elevator down to the fourth level, it was where the hotel provided breakfast. He took a plate and served himself some fried eggs and toast and took a gla.s.s of milk, then casually found a seat to settle down and have his breakfast.
There happened to be lots of people coming down for breakfast at this time, hence the empty seats in the cafeteria grew fewer and fewer. As Ji Zhiyao was taking up a table for four alone, he was slightly embarra.s.sed and hurriedly finished his remaining half a slice of bread in one mouthful, then put his plate away and returned upstairs.
The tatami was still empty, but there were already replies in the group chat.
[Rich Man Ning: Is the sun rising in the West? Now it’s Noh.o.m.o waking us up?]
[MelonRind: All of you are really too lazy, I strongly recommend drawing up a timetable to make everyone wake up on time. The international league is approaching!]
[DB.MHF: Agreed.]
When Ji Zhiyao saw Mo Huaifeng’s WeChat display picture appear, his chest felt so tight that he almost dumped his phone right away.
Calming his nerves, he returned to the chat.
[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: To be honest with all of you, I still have a joke today that I want to share with you guys.]
[MelonRind: What’s with this sudden ill feeling that I have?]
[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: Your sixth sense is really sharp. That’s right it is something to do with you.]
[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: After all I am in the room next to yours, am I right?]
It suddenly struck Ji Zhiyao.
That few yells from last night, since Mo Huaifeng heard them, doesn’t that mean that Nuo heard everything too?
[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: May I ask our Yao-G.o.d, you hollered so loudly last night saying that you were afraid, just what is it that made you suddenly admit your fear?]
F*ck.
Nuo’s words shocked the few others, the group chat was bustling as his atrocious friends delightfully discussed the matter, Ji Zhiyao was upset from reading their messages.
