The student a.s.sistant that worked under Teacher Nana's wing informed them as soon as they stated their intention.
The other party had a lanky stature with a freckled face and a short nose. She also had an afro curled black hair to complete her looks.
She had this kind of face that could easily blend amidst the thick crowd.
The student a.s.sistant who tried to a.s.sist them also had a black-rimmed eyegla.s.s that had very thick lenses that made her looked older than her actual age.
It sat awkwardly on her pug nose and her face that looked like as if she was always scowling did not make it any better.
She was also wearing a yellow mage coat and there was a yellow magic emblem pinned atop her right chest. Indicating that she was actually a student sorceress from the Yellow Realm.
Most likely than not, she was just like any other working student of Magus Academia that applied to do some menial works for the school in exchange for some magic stones.
"Oh, we could just wait for her to finished then.."
Long Yue said with a shrug indicating that it was not a problem at all and they had ample time in their hand as well as the patience needed to wait until Teacher Nana became available again
Right after saying that, Long Yue casually took a seat at one of the available chairs at the lounge where Teacher Nana's guests used to wait.
Mu Lingxi and the rest of the group also followed after him and they all took one seat each.
"That I am afraid of but you cannot. Teacher Nana still had something to do after her meeting. If you like, you could just tell me what you need and rest a.s.sured that I will certainly a.s.sist you to the best of my ability."
But despite her kind words, the student a.s.sistant's facial expression as well as the tone of her voice when she said those words showed them otherwise.
It seemed more like she was annoyed that Mu Lingxi's group was persistently hanging around without any intention of leaving despite being told that Teacher Nana was not available.
"No, we're good. We will just wait for Teacher Nana over here. No hurry. You can already leave us alone. Thank you."
Yun Xue turned down her insincere offer right away using the kindest words that he could think of as of the moment.
Although he did not bother to hide the annoyance in his voice when he said those words.
Yet, the student a.s.sistant did not back away even after being told by Yun Xue that they don't need anything else from her other than to meet Teacher Nana.
From how she had been acting since they arrived, it seemed that their group would have no chance of meeting Teacher Nana at all.
From the current looks of it, it seemed that Teacher Nana already instructed her student a.s.sistant to turn down any guests for that specific day.
"Now, here little warlocks. How about this? I think you guys are not getting my point yet. So let me get it clear to you. If you know what was good for you all, then you better just leave now while I am still being nice to you. Okay??? I already told you, Teacher Nana is not available to receive any guest at the moment. She is busy dealing with something and so do I. I still had something else to do so if you could please leave and stop wasting my time, please go."
The student a.s.sistant said authoritatively word by word then she flashed them her magic emblem that was pinned atop her flat chest.
Most likely than not, the student a.s.sistant thought that she could intimidate the bunch of student warlocks before her just because they came from the Red Realm.
"Do you honestly think that we also have that much time on our end to waste with the kinds of you???? Why don't we just stop wasting each other's time? Like I had said, you can just leave us alone. We don't need your rudeness here."
Unable to hold himself back anymore, Yun Xue fired up and no longer bother using formalities as he rebuked the other party's rudeness.
"Y- you!!!-----"
Fl.u.s.tered, the student a.s.sistant was caught between words and she was left speechless.
She did not expect that the young warlocks whom she thought that she could just bully easily, would actually retaliate at her win such spicy words like that.
The yellow student sorceress at that moment was not sure what to say.
It was her first time meeting a freshman that speak to his senior that way.
Of course, Mu Lingxi and her friends were no pushovers. Especially not the cranky Yun Xue
Just because she was two magic realms higher than them, she already thought that would be enough to intimidate their group already?
She must be dreaming!
Not just anyone could look down at Mu Lingxi's group.
Most certainly not a measly student sorceress at the Yellow Realm.
Since she dared to act all high and mighty before them then she must be prepared as well to receive a piece of Yun Xue's mind
Before the student a.s.sistant could even speak another word, Yun Xue already cut her out.
"That I am afraid of as well, but there is certainly nothing that you could do to help us aside from helping us go get and meet Teacher Nana herself."
Yun Xue said in a sarcastic way, using the same kind words that the student a.s.sistant just had told them just a while ago.
Mu Lingxi and the others could already see that that Yun Xue and the a.s.sistant student's conversation was already heading to the point of no return.
So before it could even go further southwards and before the beef between them could turn even juicier than it already was, they already decided to interrupt them
They knew well enough that it was already a bit late for them to mediate the situation considering that Yun Xue already told the other party some unsatisfying words.
But nevertheless, it was still better to do something than to do nothing at all.
So before the situation could turn even more awry, Mu Lingxi and the rest of her friends tried to step forward and mediate it as much as they could.
