Takeo turned towards to blast and kicked it into the sky, exploding after few seconds. Bahamut yelled, "d.a.m.n YOU!!!". Takeo sighed and said, "some people are just too hard-headed for their own good" and crouched down. Dragonic energy swirled around him. Bahamut and Bellona both knew what he was going to do. Takeo then looked at Bahamut and said, "Draco-Valorian Special Move!!". Takeo launched off towards him. "Fire Monarch...", Takeo shouted. He spun around and stretched his foot out forward, performing a flying kick. Then, in a eye's blink, struck Bahamut in the chest. "...Heat Javelin!!!", the impact and fire that was summoned blasted a hole through Bahamut's chest. Nina, Akihiro, and Bellona are amazed by Takeo's ruthless attack. Bahamut, tipping over, said, "I...lost? To...lose to a...member of that...accursed royal family". "The...ones I called... weak-hearted, how ironic" he said as he fell for the final time. This time he didn't get back up. Takeo walked over towards his body and swatted down. "Ssifisv algbo, Bahamut the Dragon King", he said as he pressed a finger to his heart then pointed to Bahamut's heart. (Ssifisv algbo means Rest Well in Draconic. In the Dragonkin culture, when a Dragonkin falls in battle, you say this followed by the name of the Dragonkin and any t.i.tle they had. The pointing at your own heart then pointing to the deceased's heart means you'll carry on their heart in yours)

Takeo stood up and deactivated his Dragonic Awakening, but because this was his first time using it, his body felt extremely strained after reverting. He had to walk it off to not worry the others. He walked to his mother first and helped her sit up. "How bad is it, Mom?", he asked. "Eh, I've had worse", Mom responded. "Hmmm, I don't know Mom, that looks-", Takeo said but stopped as he noticed multiple scars along his mother's arms and stomach. Takeo was amazed that mother could live normally after getting so many sounds from her past, let alone be alive with so many. "I guess you'll be alright until you heal completely", Takeo admitted. "You should go and check up on your friends over there", his mother said. Takeo nodded and got up. He walked over to Nina and Akihiro and asked, "How're you guys holding up?". Nina, trying to act tough, said, "Nothing I can't shake off". "After that good rest, I'm as right as rain", Akihiro proclaimed confidently. As Akihiro tried to stand up, a pain from his leg struck through is body, making him sit back down. "Well, maybe not so right", he said jokingly. Takeo shook his head and laughed. They all three laughed. It wasn't a normal laugh, it was a laugh of relief. Bellona looked over at them and giggled a little.

A few hours later, the sky seems to return to normal. Takeo, after eating a Dracoshard, noticed this change. "Hey, the sky is back to normal, what happened?", he asked. "The Dragonkin forces stopped the Bahamut's rampaging forces", said a familiar voice. Takeo, Nina, and Akihiro looked to see where the voice came from. Then Takeo saw the person. It was s.h.i.+n.o.bu. "s.h.i.+n.o.bu!!", Takeo said, getting into a fighting position. "Relax, Trigger Happy", s.h.i.+n.o.bu said, "you just got out of a pretty tough fight, so you'll be far too easy to beat in your current state". "Oh?", Takeo said, "Wanna put your money where your mouth is?". Bellona walked over and put her hand on his shoulder and said, "Enough, no need in getting into unnecessary fights". Takeo said, "Tch, fine". "Plus, I'm not here to fight you, I was helping stop his forces" s.h.i.+n.o.bu said pointing to Bahamut's body. "Speaking of the douchebag, what are we gonna do with his body?", Takeo asked. Bellona replied, "don't worry, I'll have a funeral arrangement for him". "He might've been completely evil, but as a Dragonkin, he still deserves a proper burial". Takeo rolled his eyes and said, "h.e.l.l, he doesn't deserve that". Bellona shrugged and said, "it's tradition".

"Sweetie, you and your friends should go on back home, I'll....be talking to some old friends about the issue now", Bellona said to Takeo. Takeo nodded and said jokingly, "don't stay out too long". Bellona, shaking her head and smiling, flew into the air and said, "I'll try not to". Bellona then and vanished. Takeo, Nina, Akihiro, and s.h.i.+n.o.bu all flew back home. Takeo looked back at the battlefield and had a thought. "From this day forward, I'll never live a normal live like the humans". He shook his head and smiled. Nina looked back at him and asked, "What's got you smiling?". Takeo said, "Nothing, just that I feel like a fun future awaits us". Nina and Akihiro nodded and agreement. s.h.i.+n.o.bu crossed his arms and smiled. This who battle sparked the beginning of an amazing journey for the New Generation of Dragonkin.
