Dragon's Heart 16 Chapter 1: Fire And Ice, Eternal Rivals

A year past since the Dragonkin incident. Takeo and the rest of the newly awakened Dragonkin have been training and getting used to their newfound powers. Takeo, however, have been training harder than the others. He eventually mastered Dragonic Awakening. When Takeo got to school after the Summer Break, he didn't expect the school's response to the whole Bahamut situation. Everyone was so interested in his powers. He was like a celebrity at the school. Unbeknownst to him, he drawed some unwanted attention. Sitting in the far back of the Commons, the part of the school that acted as the cafeteria and was the central area of the school, a white-haired boy said, "so, he's the Dragonkin Prince that defeated Bahamut the Dragon King?".

After school one day, Takeo and Nina went out to the Drakon Cinderlands for some training. "Geez, how'd you get so strong so quickly", Nina complained, after a few hours of training. Takeo was obviously more powerful than before. Takeo just grinned and chuckled. Then a voice said, "That's the power of the Dragonkin Prince? Laughable at best". Takeo turned to see guy, around his age and similar skin tone, with icey blue eyes and white hair. His hair was braided on the right side of his head and he had his spiky hair remained unbraided on the right. He wore a blue jacket that extended down to his knees and wore boots that went up to guys knees. Takeo smirked and said, "you're a Dragonkin like us, aren't you?". The boy smirked and replied, "oh, someone has a good eye, yeah i am". Takeo looked at him and thought, "why is it that this guy really rubs me the wrong way?". Then a huge wave of ice flew towards Takeo. Takeo noticed and flew into the sky to dodge it. "The h.e.l.l?!" he said. Then the boy appeared in front of Takeo and used a icey version of the Dragon Demolition Claw. Takeo countered with his own Dragon Demolition Claw. The explosion of heat and cold shot out and caused the surrounding weather to be a mix of extreme summer and extreme winter. Takeo and the boy both kicked each other, sending each other flying down towards to ground. Takeo, getting up from the rumble, asked, "well if we're gonna throw down, which we are after that, at least have the courtesy to tell me your name". The boy got up and dusted himself off and said, "fine, I'll let you know the name of the guy whose gonna beat you". "The name's Jasper Alastair", he proclaimed.

Takeo smiled then said, "That's a pretty wicked name you got, now then..." Takeo and Jasper launched towards each other, their heads cras.h.i.+ng into each other's. Nina watched on and thought, "they've just met and they're fighting like long-time rivals". Blasts of fire and ice shot out like fireworks. Both of them seemed to be pretty even. Until Takeo shouted, "okay, now to take this up a notch, Dragonic Awakening!!". Takeo then transformed. Jasper laughs, "You really think I can't do that either?!", he says as he begins to glow. His hair stood up and curved to the back and became frozen. Two horns made entirely of ice. Ice covered his arms and legs and his aura created ice on the ground around him. These two dragonic warriors were ready to face off in a serious fight.
